Abstract

Penelitian memiliki urgensi untuk menganalisis dan memahami bagaimana praktik jual beli uang rusak yang terjadi pada studi kasus di Desa Kesamben Kabupaten Jombang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif normatif. Sumber data yang digunakan ialah data primer yang dilakukan melalui wawancara dan data sekunder sebagai acuan dalam menganalisis praktik jual beli uang rusak. Berdasarkan hasil analisis di lapangan, terlihat jelas bahwa uang sebenarnya dapat diperjualbelikan dengan dasar penukaran uang, diantara berbagai faktor yang menyebabkan praktik tersebut terjadi yakni: beberapa faktor yang tercantum dalam tinjauan Pustaka. Praktik jual beli di daerah Kesamben ini menentukan kondisi uang yang layak untuk diperjualbelikan dan adanya upah jasa penukaran uang tersebut. Dari pihak pembeli, mereka dapat melakukan transaksi sesuai dengan kesepakatan kedua belah pihak. Namun, jika dianalisis dalam hukum Islam, praktik ini mengandung unsur riba, hal ini dikarenakan adanya penambahan nilai nominal dalam transaksi tersebut Kata Kunci: Jual beli, Mata Uang, Hukum Islam, Transaksi

Abstract

Amid the growing popularity of buying and selling through live shopping features, this phenomenon has gained significant attention, particularly due to the real-time interaction between sellers and consumers. This study aims to analyze the indications of gharar and consumer preferences toward live shopping from a Sharia perspective. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method using a library research approach, drawing on various relevant academic literatures. The findings indicate that gharar may still occur in live shopping transactions when product specifications are not clearly conveyed. However, the potential for gharar can be minimized through the application of transparency principles in accordance with Sharia values. These include providing clear and accurate product descriptions, implementing firm and easily accessible return policies, and ensuring seller credibility in delivering honest product information. Sellers with high credibility who are able to build responsive and genuine real-time interactions with consumers significantly influence consumer preferences. Furthermore, the interactive nature of live shopping plays a crucial role in shaping consumer preferences, as it not only enhances consumers’ sense of security during transactions but also contributes to sustaining positive consumer preferences in the long term.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Islamic financial literacy and the love of money on Muslims' personal financial management in East Java, both directly and through the mediation of financial self-efficacy. The study used a quantitative approach, employing a survey of Muslims from Generations Y and Z in East Java, selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results showed that Islamic financial literacy and love of money have a significant positive effect on personal financial management and financial self-efficacy. Financial self-efficacy was shown to have the strongest influence on personal financial management and acts as a partial mediator in the relationship between Islamic financial literacy and love of money with personal financial management. In conclusion, improving Muslim personal financial management requires not only strengthening Islamic financial literacy but also building financial self-confidence. Therefore, an effective Islamic financial literacy program needs to integrate cognitive and psychological aspects simultaneously.
