Abstract

Indonesia is a country with the largest Muslim population in the world. The potential of Islamic financial instruments for the welfare of the people grows in society, one of which is cash waqf and shares. Most Islamic scholars allow cash and shares to be used as objects of waqf. Both cash and stock endowments can be implemented into two models. Cash waqf can be implemented as mutual funds or converted into other fixed assets. Meanwhile, the implementation of share waqf can be done through corporate waqf and individual share waqf. Individual share waqf is applied with two models, namely waqf from the profit of shares and waqf in the form of per-lot Sharia shares. The purpose of this study is to determine the concepts, opportunities and challenges of share waqf in Indonesia. Based on the research, it was found that share waqf has a great opportunity in Indonesia, considering that the majority of the population is Muslim. However, the implementation of the share waqf program in Indonesia in the future face various challenges that must be resolved in order for the share waqf to develop in Indonesia.

Abstract

Industrial estates are usually reflected in the existence of a certain standardization. The green industrial area was born with Green Supply Chain Management. The halal industry gave birth to Halal supply chain management. So far, there has not been an application of an environmentally friendly concept in the halal industrial area that applies the concept of Halal supply chain management. The concept of Halal supply chain management should complement the existing concepts. This is what the researchers then found a middle way to do by continuing to carry out Halal Supply Chain Management which is also environmentally friendly. This research is a literature study by examining the quality of the study, the process of collecting and sorting data according to the intended object, data analysis, interpretation of the results, and recommendations of the research results. The results of the analysis show that Halal is reflected in Halal Supply Chain Management, while Green Supply Chain Management reflects “thoyyībān” (good) in the environment. The two concepts basically become one unit in "hālalān thoyyībān". So that the results of research with the implementation of environmentally friendly concepts in the supply chain of the halal industry have an additional positive impact in three aspects, namely. Financial, Environmental, and Social

The data collection technique used is literature study by collecting data from previous studies in the form of documentation of articles, journals, or books as well as publication data from other parties. The data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation, and concluding, from the collected data analyzed through SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) then continued using the Maqāṣid al-Sharī’ah approach (Maṣlaḥah and Mafsadah). The results show that cryptocurrency technology with blockchain can indeed be recognized as an excellent revolutionary technology, but the position of cryptocurrency as an investment in commodity futures trading contains an element of gambling because it contains high speculation and is gambling by taking advantage of the level of volatility. In addition, cryptocurrencies are prone to be used by illegal practices such as money laundering, so that when compared to Maṣlaḥah and Mafsadah it contains greater Mafsadah.
