Abstract

Academic resilience is an individual's ability to recover from difficulties and pressure in academics. This research aims to determine the relationship between spiritual intelligence and social support and academic resilience. This research uses a quantitative method with an accidental sampling technique, which is a method of determining samples based on chance, meaning that anyone who happens to meet the researcher can be used as a sample, if the person accidentally met is deemed suitable as a data source. The measuring instruments used include the academic resilience scale with 32 items, the spiritual intelligence scale with 34 items, and the social support scale with 38 items. The sample for this research consisted of 100 migrant students in Surabaya. These results indicate a significant positive relationship between spiritual intelligence, social support, and academic resilience among emigrant college students in Surabaya.

Abstract

Abstrack The popularity of K-Pop that occurs in Indonesia involves women of early adulthood and causes negative impacts from excessive worship or what is called celebrity worship. This research aims to find out whether there is a relationship between self-control and celebrity worship in women in early adulthood who like K-pop. This research was conducted with participants as many as 96 young adult K-pop fans using incidental sampling techniques. The instruments used in this research were the self-control scale from Tangney (2004) and the celebrity attitude scale from Maltby (2005). Based on the results of the data analysis carried out, it shows that there is no relationship between self-control and celebrity worship. Abstrak Populernya K-Pop yang terjadi di Indonesia yang melibatkan wanita usia dewasa awal dan menimbulkan dampak-dampak negatif dari pemujaan berlebihan atau disebut juga dengan celebrity worship. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara kontrol diri dengan celebrity worship pada wanita berusia dewasa awal yang menggemari K-pop. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan partisipan sebanyak 96 wanita usia dewasa awal penggemar k-pop dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel sampling incidental. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah skala kontrol diri dari Tangney (2004) dan skala celebrity attitude scale dari Maltby (2005). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa tidak adanya hubungan antara kontrol diri dengan celebrity worship.

Abstract

Every year when entering the new school year there are always students from outside the region or from their place of origin to pursue proper education in big cities. Obstacles and challenges faced by students such as loneliness are often experienced by overseas students, as well as factors that cause such as social adjustment. In addition, attachment to pets is also a factor in loneliness, therefore this study aims to determine the relationship between social adjustment and pet attachment with loneliness in overseas students in Surabaya. The design in this study used questionnaire information collection, while the subjects in this study were overseas students in the Sukolilo sub-district of Surabaya city, totaling 100 people. In this study using correlational qualitative methods. The results in this study show that there is no relationship between social adjustment and loneliness and there is a relationship between pet attachment and loneliness in overseas students in Surabaya. The conclusion in this study is that the first hypothesis is rejected and the second hypothesis is accepted, while the third hypothesis cannot be tested because it does not meet the prerequisite test. Setiap tahun ketika memasuki tahun ajaran baru selalu ada mahasiswa yang dari luar daerah atau mernatau dari tempat asal untuk menempuh pendidikan yang layak di kota-kota besar. Rintangan dan tantangan yang dihadapi oleh mahasiswa seperti kesepian kerap kali dialami oleh mahasiswa rantau, adapun faktor yang menyebabkan seperti penyesuaian sosial. Selain itu kelekatan dengan hewan peliharaan juga menjadi faktor dalam kesepian, maka dari itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara social adjustment dan pet attachment dengan kesepian pada mahasiswa rantau di Surabaya. Desain dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pengumpulan informasi kuesioner, adapun subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa rantau yang ada di kecamatan Sukolilo kota Surabaya yang berjumlah 100 orang. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif korelasional. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukan tidak terdapat hubungan antara social adjustment dengan kesepian dan terdapat hubungan antara pet attachment dengan kesepian pada mahasiswa rantau di Surabaya. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini bahwa hipotesis pertama ditolak dan hipotesis kedua diterima, adapun hipotesis ketiga tidak dapat diuji karena tidak memenuhi uji prasyarat.

Abstract

Students as the main subject in the school environment are individuals who take part in the teaching and learning process. Having interest and motivation to learn in students is important in the teaching and learning process so that the knowledge provided by educators is optimal and can be developed properly by these students. However, not all students have the same interest and motivation to learn in pursuing education. The purpose of the study was to determine how the relationship between interest in learning and motivation to learn in adolescent junior high school students in grade 2. This study used Pearson product moment analysis technique. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with respondents of grade 2 junior high school students. In this study, 111 respondents were obtained. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The results show that interest in learning with learning motivation has a significant relationship. So it can be said that if the higher the interest in learning, the higher the learning motivation. Conversely, the lower the interest in learning, the lower the learning motivation in 2nd grade high school students. So the hypothesis in this study can be accepted, namely that there is a positive relationship between interest in learning and learning motivation in 2nd grade high school students. Siswa sebagai subjek utama dalam lingkungan sekolah merupakan individu yang ikut andil dalam proses belajar mengajar. Memiliki minat dan motivasi belajar dalam diri siswa merupakan hal yang penting dalam proses belajar mengajar agar tercapainya ilmu yang diberikan oleh tenaga pendidik secara optimal dan dapat di kembangkan dengan baik oleh siswa tersebut. Akan tetapi, tidak semua siswa memiliki minat dan motivasi belajar yang sama dalam menempuh pendidikan. Tujuan Penelitian Untuk mengetahui bagaimana Hubungan Antara Minat Belajar Dengan Motivasi Belajar Pada Remaja Siswa SMP Kelas 2. Penelitian ini menggunakan Teknik analisis pearson product moment. Teknik pengambilan sampling yang digunakan adalah Purposive Sampling dengan responden siswa kelas 2 SMP. Pada penelitian ini didapat responden sebanyak 111 responden.Teknik pengambilan sampling menggunakan purposive sampling. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa minat belajar dengan motivasi belajar memiliki hubungan yang signifikan. Maka dapat dikatakan jika minat belajar semakin tinggi, maka semakin tinggi juga motivasi belajar. Sebaliknya, semakin rendah minat belajar maka akan semakin rendah juga motivasi belajar pada siswa smp kelas 2. Maka hipotesis pada penelitian ini dapat diterima yaitu ada hubungan positif antara minat belajar dengan motivasi belajar pada siswa smp kelas 2.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of self-healing therapy to increase happiness in final year students. This study uses quantitative experiments to achieve research objectives. The subjects used in this study were final year undergraduate students in Surabaya. The measuring tool uses a happiness scale and a self-healing therapy module. Research data were analyzed using non-parametric Mann Whitney U Test The results of the study using the non-parametric data analysis of the Mann Whitney U Test yielded a Z score = -2,241 with a significance of 0.025 (p > 0.05). So There are differences in the level of happiness in the experimental group. In this result it can be interpreted that effective self-healing therapy is given to increase happiness in final year students. The hypothesis that self-healing therapy is effectively used to increase happiness in final year students at the university of 17 August 1945 in Surabaya is accepted. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas terapi self healing untuk meningkatkan kebahagiaan pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif eksperimen untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian. Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa tingkat akhir untag surabaya. Alat ukur menggunakan skala kebahagiaan dan modul terapi self healing. data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan non parametrik Mann Whitney U Test. Hasil penelitian yang menggunakan analisis data non parametrik Mann Whitney U Test mendapatkan hasil Z skor = -2.241 signifikansi 0,025 (p > 0,05). Maka adanya perbedaan tingkat kebahagiaan pada kelompok eksperimen. Pada hasil ini dapat dimaknai bahwa terapi self healing efektif diberikan untuk meningkatkan kebahagiaan pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Hipotesis yang berbunyi terapi self healing efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kebahagiaan pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir di universitas 17 agustus 1945 surabaya diterima.

Abstract

Adolescence is a transition period in children's development. In fact, many teenagers are not yet able to undergo this stage of development, so many of them commit delinquency, such as bullying. This research aims to determine the relationship between authoritarian parenting and emotional regulation and the tendency to engage in bullying behavior in adolescents. The population in this study was 380 class XI students of SMA Negeri 21 Surabaya. The population in this study was 191 class XI students at SMA Negeri 21 using the Krejcie table. The method for analyzing correlational data was with the help of IBM SPSS version 25 for Windows and the simultaneous test results showed a significance of 0.000 (p<0.05). This means that authoritarian parenting and emotional regulation influence the tendency to carry out bullying behavior. In the partial test, there is a significant influence between bullying and authoritarian parenting with a significance value of <0.001 (p<0.05) and bullying and emotional regulation with a significance value of <0.001 (p<0.05), meaning there is a significant relationship between authoritarian parenting and emotional regulation. with a tendency to carry out bullying behavior in teenagers.

Abstract

In the modern era like today, the sophistication of technology in smartphones is currently growing rapidly compared to before. Because smartphones in the current era make it easy for users to access anything easily. This is what makes humans dependent on the existence of smartphones, especially students who often feel anxious when they are away from their smartphones. This phenomenon is called nomophobia anxiety. 1) Nomophobia anxiety is a feeling of anxiety and fear when individuals are away from their smartphones. 2) This study aims to determine the relationship between self-control and nomophobia anxiety in college students. 3) The population in the study was 12,361 active students at the university of August 17 1945 Surabaya with a research sample of 288 students. This research data collection technique uses incidental sampling techniques. 4) Data collection from the results of the self- control scale and nomophobia anxiety scale, each of which consists of 21 items with an α =0.837 value and 29 items with an α =0.906 value. The data analysis used is a simple analysis which shows rxy = -575 at p = 0.00 (<0.05) 5) meaning that there is a significant negative relationship between the two variables.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to determine the relationship between peer social support and the level of quarter life crisis in early adult individuals. The subjects of this research were vulnerable individuals aged 19-29 years in the city of Surabaya with a total of 100 respondents. Based on analytical calculations using Spearman Rho, a correlation score of 0.225 was obtained with a significance level of 0.000 (p<0.05), meaning that there was no negative relationship between social support and the quarter life crisis. The result is that the higher the social support an individual has, it has no effect on the level of quarter life crisis experienced by that individual. Keywords: social support, Quarter life crisis, adult individuals Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan sosial teman sebaya dengan tingkat quarter life crisis pada individu dewasa awal. Subjek penelitian ini adalah individu di rentan usia 19-29 tahun yang ada di kota Surabaya dengan jumlah responden 100 orang. Berdasarkan perhitungan analisis menggunakan Spearman Rho diperoleh skor korelasi Sebesar 0.225 dengan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0.000 (p<0.05) artinya tidak terdapat hubungan negatif antara dukungan sosial dengan quarter life crisis. Hasilnya semakin tinggi dukungan sosial yang dimiliki individu tidak berpengaruh terhadap tingkat quarter life crisis yang dialami oleh individu tersebut.
