Abstract

This research aims to analyze the performance of the K-Means algorithm concerning the intensity of use of the Natural Sciences (IPA) laboratory and its impact on students' science skills. The study utilizes data on the intensity of science laboratory use and the results of science skills tests from a group of students. The analysis leverages the K-Means algorithm's ability to cluster students based on their laboratory use patterns and determine qualifications based on their science skills. The performance metrics employed in this study include evaluating cluster suitability and conducting correlation analysis between science laboratory use patterns and students' science skills. Therefore, the research focuses on demonstrating how the K-Means algorithm can effectively group data on the intensity of science laboratory use and its correlation with students' science skills.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the differences in the average loading order quantities during the LPG 3 Kg filling process, as influenced by the type of filling machine brand. Specifically, the research focuses on three brands of filling machines: KOSAN-215H, DAESUNG-2189, and ELIXIR-217Q, which are utilized at the LPG Filling Stations (SPBE) in the Sumatera Utara-SAR Medan PT Pertamina Patra Niaga C&T. The statistical method employed for analysis is One-Way Univariate Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). A total of 27 observations were collected for each machine brand. The results of the analysis show that the calculated F-Statistic (3.171240679) exceeds the F-Critical (3.11379226), with a P-value of 0.0474111978, which is < 0.05 significance threshold. Therefore, the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted, indicating that there is a statistically significant difference in the average loading order quantities among the three filling machines. These findings suggest that the loading order quantities differ significantly across the different brands of 3 KG LPG filling machines.

Abstract

Homelessness and beggars are social problems that are often found in various regions of Indonesia, especially Binjai City. This causes fewer job opportunities, inadequate human resources and increases people’s living need. To overcome this problem, Dinas Sosial Kota Binjai created a policy to deal with homeless people and beggars by providing basic information technology training. This Community servis aims to empower homeless people and beggars to improve skills, access information and work opportunities for disadvantaged community groups. By providing skills to teach how to access relevant information such as health service, social assistance, free education and job vacancies.
