Abstract

The establishment of a company has a clear purpose. In carrying out business activities to achieve company goals, of course the company will face various risks. Risk can be said as the possible outcome of a process that does not meet expectations. ERM began to be recognized by the public after the Committee of Sponsoring Organization of The Treadway Commission (COSO) published it in 2004. ERM can be said to be a comprehensive and useful approach for managing overall corporate risk, reducing threat levels, and maximizing opportunities. Apart from enterprise risk management, intellectual capital is also an important non-financial information to be disclosed in a company's financial statements. Intellectual Capital is information and knowledge that can be applied to a job to create value in the company. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of disclosure of enterprise risk management and intellectual capital on company value in LQ45 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2018-2020 period. The research method used in this research is hypothesis testing, namely to analyze the effect of enterprise risk management disclosures and company value intellectual capital. Based on the research conducted, it was found that enterprise risk management affects firm value in a negative direction, while intellectual capital has no effect on firm value.

Abstract

Catholic Religious Education and Ethics have an important role in shaping the character and spiritual attitude of students. However, in the learning process, Catholic Religious Education and Ethics often face challenges, especially caused by the influence of the digital era and instant mindset. This challenge becomes increasingly complex because teachers have not applied methods that are oriented to students in the learning process, resulting in an impact on the low critical reasoning skills that can be seen from students' learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the application of the Discovery Learning (DL) model in improving students' critical reasoning skills and the average completeness of learning outcomes of Catholic Religious Education and Ethics in Phase E. This class action research was carried out in four stages, namely planning, implementation, evaluation, and reflection, with class X respondents as many as 13 students. Data were obtained by observing changes in the behavior of the critical reasoning dimension and learning achievement tests at the end of each cycle. Data processing with descriptive and percentage analysis, in two cycles with the Discovery Learning (DL) model. Focusing on the critical reasoning dimension of the Pancasila student profile is intended to improve the cognitive and affective aspects in the learning process. The results showed that there was an increase in the cognitive aspects of students in the advanced category by 31%, from 23% in the first cycle to 54% in the second cycle. In the affective aspect, in terms of critical reasoning skills, there was an increase of 8% in the advanced category, from 23% in cycle 1 to 31% in cycle 2. The results of this classroom action research show that learning with the Discovery Learning model by focusing on one dimension of the Pancasila student profile can improve critical reasoning skills and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Popular culture and digitalization have become the main context of the lives of Catholic children and adolescents, thus having a significant impact on the formation of their identity, values, and practices of faith. Phenomena such as social media, music, movies, and digital games are not only entertainment spaces, but also pedagogical spaces that shape the way of thinking and spirituality of the younger generation. This study aims to analyze the relevance of Thomas H. Groome's Shared Christian Praxis (SCP) model as a contextual catechesis approach for children and adolescents living in popular culture. Using a qualitative method based on literature studies, this study interprets popular cultural dynamics, the principles of the Church's faith education, and the SCP approach through hermeneutical and thematic analysis. The results show that traditional catechesis approaches are no longer adequate to answer the needs of the digital generation which demands a dialogical, participatory, and experiential learning process. The SCP approach has been proven to be able to integrate students' experiences, critical reflection, the Church's story of faith, hermeneutical dialogue, and concrete actions as a single faith-building process. Thus, this research makes a practical contribution to the Church and Catholic educational institutions in designing catechesis strategies that are more relevant, contextual, and able to respond to the challenges of popular culture faced by the younger generation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dynamics of interfaith relations in Indonesia by integrating Social Identity Theory (SIT), Social Identity Complexity (SIC), and Pope Francis’ vision of synodality. The focus is directed toward understanding how social identity categories, overlapping identity structures, and the synodal vision of communion, participation, and mission enrich the paradigm of religious moderation in a plural society. This research employs a qualitative library research design using descriptive-analytical and content analysis techniques on identity theories, empirical findings on interfaith tolerance, and relevant Catholic Church documents. The analysis includes an exploration of the core concepts of SIT and SIC, a review of interfaith tolerance practices in Indonesian communities, and an examination of the pastoral significance of synodality as a dialogical approach. The findings indicate that religious moderation can flourish when religious communities have natural spaces of encounter, develop flexible identity intersections, and engage actively in mutual listening as emphasized in the Synod 2021–2024. In this context, synodality provides a theological and pastoral framework for cultivating inclusive, creative, and transformative interfaith relations, allowing each religious tradition to express its uniqueness while fostering fraternal harmony.
