Abstract

According to the Ministry of Education and Culture, financial literacy education is very necessary to educate people to be aware and understand how to manage finances wisely. Financial literacy education must be given to children, especially elementary school-age children as early as possible. Introducing financial literacy to children can be done by introducing children to the values ​​of money and the culture of saving. Initial observation results show that most students use all their pocket money for consumption. This is what underlies the importance of strengthening financial literacy for children, especially at the elementary school level. PkM activities are carried out by focusing on introducing financial concepts through introducing nominal money and saving activities by making piggy banks. The training method was carried out in two sessions, namely session 1 with face-to-face presentation of the material by the resource person and session 2 training in making educational media to improve. The activity results showed an increase in students' understanding of financial concepts with active participation and high enthusiasm for using money wisely, as well as fostering a sense of the importance of saving for the future.

Abstract

This study aims to implement a women farmer empowerment program in Cipedes Village through the innovation of traditional sagon food processing to enhance entrepreneurial skills. The methods used in this study include training, mentoring, and evaluation of women's farmer groups (KWT) in producing and marketing sagon more innovatively. The results show that innovations in sagon processing, including taste, shape, and packaging, have successfully increased market interest in this product. Furthermore, providing training and guidance on using digital technology for marketing has improved the entrepreneurial knowledge and skills of KWT members. This program has not only contributed to increasing household income but also strengthened the role of women farmers in local economic development. Therefore, empowering women farmers through the innovation of traditional food processing like sagon has great potential to be further developed as a model for economic empowerment in rural areas.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kapasitas pengurus Taman Bacaan Masyarakat (TBM) Rumah Cerdas desa Kalimanggiswetan melalui pelatihan pengelolaan administrasi dan pengembangan jiwa kepemimpinan. TBM sebagai wadah literasi memiliki peran strategis dalam meningkatkan budaya membaca dan keterampilan masyarakat, namun masih menghadapi kendala dalam aspek manajerial, khususnya administrasi kelembagaan dan kepemimpinan pengurus. Metode kegiatan dilakukan melalui pendekatan partisipatif berupa ceramah interaktif, diskusi kelompok, simulasi, serta praktik langsung dalam penyusunan dokumen administrasi dan penerapan keterampilan kepemimpinan. Materi yang diberikan mencakup dasar-dasar administrasi organisasi, pencatatan keuangan sederhana, penyusunan laporan kegiatan, komunikasi efektif, pengambilan keputusan, serta strategi membangun kerja sama tim. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan pengurus TBM dalam menyusun administrasi yang lebih tertib serta kemampuan memimpin secara kolaboratif. Selain itu, pengurus mampu mengidentifikasi peran dan tanggung jawab masing-masing secara lebih jelas, sehingga kinerja organisasi menjadi lebih terarah. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan TBM Rumah Cerdas dapat berkembang menjadi lembaga literasi yang lebih profesional, berdaya guna, dan berkelanjutan dalam memberikan kontribusi nyata bagi masyarakat sekitar.

Abstract

Abstract : The Student Organization Capacity Strengthening Program (PPK Ormawa) is an initiative by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of Indonesia to empower students as agents of social change. This article describes the implementation of the PPK Ormawa program by the Student Association of Economic Education in Kalimanggis Kulon Village, Kuningan Regency. The method applied was a participatory approach involving planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation stages. The results indicate significant   improvements   in   three   key   areas:   literacy,   economy,   and   culture.  The establishment of five literacy corners in each hamlet increased community reading interest, while the empowerment of local MSMEs (pareredan snacks) led to product diversification, modern packaging, and an average 25% income increase. In the cultural aspect, the establishment  of  an  art  studio  and  village  festival  encouraged  youth  involvement  in preserving traditional arts. The study concludes that PPK Ormawa can create a smart village ecosystem based on literacy, creative economy, and local culture, with strong sustainability potential supported by the village government. Keywords: Community empowerment, literacy, MSMEs, local culture Abstrak : Program Penguatan Kapasitas Organisasi Kemahasiswaan (PPK Ormawa) merupakan salah satu upaya Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi untuk  mendorong  mahasiswa  menjadi  agen  perubahan sosial di masyarakat. Artikel ini menguraikan implementasi program PPK Ormawa oleh Himpunan Mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi di Desa Kalimanggis Kulon, Kabupaten Kuningan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif dengan tahapan perencanaan, implementasi, monitoring, hingga evaluasi.  Hasil  kegiatan  menunjukkan  adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam tiga bidang utama, yakni literasi,  ekonomi, dan budaya. Pojok literasi yang dibangun di lima dusun berhasil meningkatkan minat baca masyarakat, sementara pendampingan UMKM pareredan berdampak  pada  diversifikasi  produk,  modernisasi  kemasan,  dan  kenaikan  pendapatan rata-rata 25%. Pada aspek budaya, pembentukan sanggar seni dan festival desa meningkatkan keterlibatan generasi muda dalam pelestarian seni tradisional. Simpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah bahwa PPK Ormawa mampu menciptakan ekosistem desa cerdas berbasis literasi, ekonomi kreatif, dan budaya lokal, dengan potensi keberlanjutan yang kuat melalui dukungan pemerintah desa.
