Abstract

The formation of religious character is an essential aspect of character education, emphasizing thoughts, words, and actions grounded in religious values. In dormitory-based schools, the dormitory supervisors play a crucial role as substitute parents, teachers, and role models for students. This study explores the parenting patterns used by dormitory supervisors at SMP Insan Cendekia Madani in shaping students' religious character. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that religious character development requires structured strategies, including exemplary methods, habituation, direct practice, prayer, and affection. The study also identifies challenges from students' internal conditions, parental upbringing inconsistencies, and environmental factors. An adaptive and situational parenting style, tailored to students' characteristics, proves effective. The research concludes that dormitory parenting patterns significantly contribute to enhancing students' religious character and offers insights for better management in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah membawa perubahan fundamental dalam dunia pendidikan. Peserta didik kini dapat mengakses informasi secara cepat, luas, dan interaktif melalui perangkat digital. Kondisi ini menuntut lembaga pendidikan untuk mengelola dan memanfaatkan teknologi secara optimal sebagai media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengelolaan teknologi informasi sebagai media pembelajaran serta kontribusinya terhadap peningkatan minat belajar peserta didik di MI Jamiatul Khair Kota Tangerang. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan teknologi informasi dilakukan melalui tahapan perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan sesuai kerangka teori POAC. Penggunaan media digital seperti Canva, PowerPoint, video pembelajaran, serta WhatsApp mampu meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik melalui visualisasi materi, interaktivitas, dan suasana belajar yang lebih menarik. Kendala utama meliputi keterbatasan perangkat, jaringan internet, dan literasi digital guru. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa pengelolaan teknologi yang efektif mampu meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik, namun memerlukan dukungan kompetensi guru dan fasilitas memadai.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze and describe the implementation of educator competency management, analyze and find the contribution of educator competency management to improving the quality of Tahfiz Al-Qur'an learning, and identify strategies to improve the quality of Tahfiz Al-Qur'an learning at Primary Student One Islamic School. The method used in this study is a survey method, with data collection techniques through interviews, observations and document studies. Data analysis uses a triangulation approach, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The findings of this study are: First, the implementation of educator competency management at Primary Student One Islamic School is carried out through four stages, namely program planning, activity implementation, evaluation of success and follow-up or competency development. Second, educator competency management is proven to provide a significant contribution or contribution to improving the quality of Tahfiz Al-Qur'an learning at Primary Student One Islamic School. This is seen in the improvement of educator teaching quality, learning quality and student learning outcomes. Third, the strategy for improving the quality of Tahfiz Al-Qur'an learning is carried out through four strategies, including repeating memorization until it is truly memorized, understanding the meaning of the memorized verses, submitting memorization to educators and facilitating one type of mushaf.
