Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop a counting box learning media that will be used to improve the understanding of addition and subtraction of grade II elementary school students that is valid, practical and effective. The type of method in this study is Research and Development (R&D). The product development model is ADDIE. Data collection techniques by conducting interviews, observations, questionnaires and tests. Analysis of research data using data analysis of validity, reliability, discrimination, level of difficulty, normality, homogeneity, hypothesis and effectiveness. The results carried out by the researcher, namely the validity of the counting box media in improving the understanding of addition and subtraction in grade II elementary school students, are suitable for use and have been validated by experts. The results of the validation of media experts were 98% (Very valid), material experts were 95.45% (Very valid), language experts were 91%% (Very valid), and practitioner experts were 95%% (Very Practical). Product trials conducted by researchers were in 2 stages, namely small-scale trials and field-scale trials. The results of the small-scale acquisition of pretest and posttest questions show that the average pretest score is 47.5, while the average posttest score is 55.5. The increase from the pretest to the posttest score is 8. On the field scale, the results of the average pretest score are 40, while the average posttest score increases to 92. So it can be concluded that there is an increase from the pretest to the posttest score of 52. Based on this, the counting box media is very valid, practical and effective to use in learning.

Abstract

Strengthening Human Resources Management in the Indonesian Community Sports Committee (KORMI) Trenggalek Regency is an important step in implementing the Community Sports Festival as part of the implementation of the Indonesia Fit 2045 Program. This festival aims to increase community participation in sports, which is in line with government efforts to create a healthy and active society. This service shows that the development of traditional and recreational sports can increase people's motivation to participate in sports activities, which is the core of the program. One strategy that can be implemented is through training and outreach through community sports management applications packaged in the form of community sports festival activities in traditional games, traditional archery, dance, tera gymnastics and kite flying. This community service shows that understanding and implementing activities through this community sports tournament management application can increase the human resource competency of KORMI Trenggalek Regency partners in developing and providing community sports services to the community, especially implementing easy community sports tournaments with digital applications. With good services from KORMI Trenggalek Regency, it can motivate public awareness in implementing a healthy and fit lifestyle by exercising regularly so that people in Trenggalek Regency are motivated to move towards a Indonesia’s Fit 2045.

Abstract

The study explores the cultural resilience model of Turonggo Yakso as an instrument for strengthening students’ independence and cultural literacy in elementary education. The research aims to verify the validity and reliability of three latent constructs cultural resilience, independence, and cultural literacy and to analyze the structural relationships among them. A quantitative confirmatory design was implemented through Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach. Data were obtained from 330 elementary school students in Trenggalek Regency, East Java, who participated in learning activities integrated with local art traditions. The analysis employed a five-point Likert scale questionnaire processed with SmartPLS 4.0. Results demonstrated that all constructs met the reliability and validity criteria, indicating strong internal consistency. Cultural resilience exerted a substantial positive influence on both cultural literacy and independence, suggesting that engagement in local culture enhances students’ autonomy and appreciation of cultural values. The coefficient of determination revealed that cultural resilience and cultural literacy explained a considerable proportion of the variance in students’ independence. The overall model fulfilled the acceptable fit criteria, confirming its empirical robustness. Findings indicate that embedding local cultural practices through Turonggo Yakso can promote independent learning and strengthen cultural literacy. The proposed model contributes to the development of culturally responsive pedagogy aligned with the Merdeka Belajar policy and supports the realization of the Profil Pelajar Pancasila.
