Abstract

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the field of digestive surgery, offering significant advancements in diagnostic accuracy, surgical precision, and perioperative management. Technologies such as machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) enhance surgical outcomes by identifying complex patterns in data, supporting real-time decision-making, and improving personalized patient care. This study aims to systematically evaluate the current applications, challenges, and future potential of AI-powered innovations in digestive surgery. A systematic literature review was conducted following PRISMA guidelines. The search utilized databases including Scopus, PubMed, Google Scholar, Crossref, and Web of Science. Keywords like "artificial intelligence," "machine learning," "digestive surgery," and "surgical AI" yielded 3,285 articles. After applying inclusion criteria, 23 studies published between 2020 and 2024 were selected for narrative synthesis. The review highlights AI's applications in endoscopic procedures, achieving diagnostic accuracy up to 98% for early-stage cancers. AI-driven systems enhance intraoperative precision, particularly in laparoscopic and robotic surgeries, reducing complication risks and improving outcomes. Moreover, AI-based predictive models support perioperative management by optimizing surgical planning and postoperative care, demonstrating improved efficiency and patient safety. AI is reshaping digestive surgery by enabling better diagnostics, personalized treatment, and improved surgical outcomes. Despite challenges like data quality and ethical concerns, the continued evolution of AI technologies holds promise for further advancements in surgical practices and education

Abstract

Research aim :This research aims to formulate a marketing strategy for a non-profit institution, namely the International Center for Awqaf Studies (ICAST), in its operations as an institution that provides waqf education to the wider community. Design/Methode/Approach :Data collection used a qualitative approach, data collection used observation, interview and documentation techniques and data analysis used was descriptive analysis techniques. Research Finding : The results of the research show that the ICAST institution needs to take advantage of the opportunities and strengths it has to develop a marketing strategy for ICAST to the wider community, and strategies are also needed for each component of the advertising mix indicators, even though ICAST is an institution that does not aim to make a profit, a marketing strategy is needed to be able to carry out The goal of the organization is to provide knowledge. and educating the public about the importance of waqf in social life. Theoretical contribution/Originality :This research provides theoretical contributions regarding marketing strategy in the context of non-profit organizations Practitionel/Policy implication :The results of this research can be utilized by non-profit institutions to carry out marketing in their non-profit activities so that they can be of interest to the wider community in their operations of providing waqf education to all levels of society. Research limitation :This research is still limited to one object of non-profit institutions engaged in waqf education, it is not comprehensive in other non-profit institutions, so further research is needed in other non-profit organizations.

Abstract

The increase in infrastructure development in Indonesia has directly impacted the high demand for concrete. The increased use of concrete has the potential to cause negative effects on the environment. To support sustainable infrastructure development, innovative concrete has been developed by utilizing stone dust as a partial substitute for fine aggregate. This study aims to determine the optimum content of stone dust as a partial substitute for fine aggregate on the tensile strength and modulus of rupture of concrete. The research method used is the experimental method. The concrete mix design uses variations of stone ash at 0%; 5%; 10%; 15%; and 20% of the weight of the fine aggregate. The test specimens for the split tensile strength test are cylindrical with a diameter of 15 cm and a height of 30 cm, while the test specimens for the modulus of rupture test are beam-shaped with a width of 10 cm, height of 10 cm, and length of 40 cm, and all specimens are tested at 28 days old. Hardened concrete testing for split tensile strength uses a Compression Testing Machine, and modulus of rupture testing uses a Universal Testing Machine. The results of the split tensile strength test were 2,45 MPa; 2,57 MPa; 2,64 MPa; 2,78 MPa; and 2,71 MPa, with R² = 0,923. The results of the modulus of rupture test were 4,00 MPa; 4,32 MPa; 4,62 MPa; 5,10 MPa; and 4,85 MPa, with R² = 0,909. The split tensile strength and modulus of rupture reached their optimum values at stone ash contents of 17,83% and 19,31%, respectively.
