Abstract

This study aims to examine the use of local wisdom as a learning resource in Social Studies (IPS) learning to instill cultural values and tolerance in elementary school students. The study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews with teachers and local community leaders, observation of the learning process in the classroom, and analysis of documents related to teaching materials and curriculum. Data were analyzed using an interactive model that includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the integration of local wisdom into IPS learning can increase students' awareness of local cultural values while forming an attitude of tolerance towards cultural diversity in the surrounding environment. In addition, this strategy also provides a contextual learning experience that is relevant to students' daily lives. This study recommends the importance of training for teachers in developing local wisdom-based learning methods and compiling learning modules that are appropriate to the local context.

Abstract

Abstract Case of analysis of WTO decisions about the regulation of cancellation of raw mineral exports perspective of energy sovereignty. Raw minerals are non-renewable natural resources that play an important role in fulfilling the livelihood needs of many people, as well as providing real added value to the national economy in an effort to achieve prosperity and welfare for the people. The state has the responsibility to manage and streamline the use of raw mineral resources for the prosperity of the people, as stated in Article 33, paragraph (3) of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. The state's effort to maximize the potential of natural resources for the prosperity of the people is reflected in the Decree prohibiting the export of nickel ore, as stated in the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation Number 11 of 2019, which amends the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation Number 25 of 2018 concerning Mineral and Coal Mining Businesses. Nevertheless, it seems that the European Union has expressed a negative response to this.Of course, this has implications for Indonesia being sued by the European Union because Indonesia is deemed to have violated its commitments as a member of the WTO, as stated in Article XI:1 of the 1994 General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade concerning the prohibition of export restrictions. The research method used is normative juridical with a statutory approach, conceptual approach, and case approach. Therefore, the author will describe this case using the theory of energy sovereignty by utilizing the concept of national interests.
