Abstract: Air transportation plays a vital role in national connectivity, especially in Indonesia as an archipelagic country. However, increased flight traffic poses new operational challenges at airports, particularly flight delays. This study aims to analyze the effect of effective apron capacity on flight delays at Kualanamu International Airport in Deli Serdang. The approach used is quantitative with a simple linear regression method. Effective apron capacity is calculated by subtracting reduction factors such as the presence of RON (Remain Over Night) aircraft, blocked areas, and conflicts with large aircraft maneuvers from the installed capacity. Data was obtained from aircraft movements between November 2024 and January 2025. The results of the study indicate a significant influence between effective apron capacity and the accumulation of departure delay minutes, particularly during peak morning hours. These findings contribute to apron operational management and serve as a basis for more effective delay mitigation at the airport. Namun, peningkatan trafik penerbangan menimbulkan tantangan operasional baru di bandara, terutama keterlambatan pergerakan pesawat (flight delay). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kapasitas efektif apron terhadap keterlambatan pesawat di Bandara Internasional Kualanamu Deli Serdang. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode regresi linier sederhana. Kapasitas efektif apron dihitung dari kapasitas terpasang dikurangi faktor reduksi seperti keberadaan pesawat RON (Remain Over Night), area terblokir, dan konflik manuver pesawat berbadan besar. Data diperoleh dari pergerakan pesawat selama November 2024 hingga Januari 2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara kapasitas efektif apron terhadap akumulasi menit keterlambatan keberangkatan, terutama pada jam-jam sibuk pagi hari. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengelolaan operasional apron dan menjadi dasar dalam mitigasi delay yang lebih efektif di bandara.
