Abstract

ABSTRAKProduk crackers yang dihasilkan PT M belum memenuhi spesifikasi target yang sudah ditentukan perusahaan, dengan melihat indeks nilai Cpm. Saat ini terdapat masalah kualitas produk crackers di line produksi baru yang penggunaan mesinnya baru terpasang, yakni di Line 4. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada produk crackers yang dihasilkan di Line 4 dengan menggunakan metode Lean Six Sigma. Terdapat tiga pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu dengan metode DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control), Seven Plus One Waste untuk menentukan pemborosan yang terjadi di masing-masing jenis defect, dan metode 5W-1H untuk menganalisis penyebab terjadinya pemborosan. Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi, jenis pemborosan yang terjadi adalah transportation, process, motion, defect and rework, dan waiting time. Usulan perbaikan yang diterapkan adalah melakukan pengecekan ketebalan setiap gauge roll 1-2 di sisi OS (Operating Site) dan sisi NOS (No. Operating Site). Setelah usulan dilakukan, terdapat peningkatan nilai indeks Cpm, seperti weight dough, weigh dough+topping salt, weight basecake, weight basecake+oil, diameter, salt content, dan color bottom.Kata kunci: lean, six sigma, DMAIC, seven plus one waste. ABSTRACTThe crackers produced by PT. M have not met the target specifications specified by the company, by looking at the Cpm value index. At present there are quality problems for crackers in the new production line that uses the new engine installed, namely on Line 4. This research was conducted on crackers products produced in Line 4 using the Lean Six Sigma method. There are three approaches used, namely by the DMAIC method (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control), Seven Plus One Waste to determine waste that occurs in each type of defect, and the 5W-1H method to analyze the causes of waste. Based on the results of identification, the type of waste that occurs is transportation, process, motion, defect and rework, and waiting time. The proposed improvement applied is to check the thickness of each gauge roll 1-2 on the OS (Operating Site) and NOS (No. Operating Site) side. After the proposal is made, there is an increase in the Cpm index value, such as weight dough, weigh dough + salt topping, weight basecake, basecake weight + oil, diameter, salt content, and color bottom.Keywords: lean, six sigma, DMAIC, seven plus one waste.

Abstract

Aircraft parking guide personnel training (marshalling) is training that is carried out to increase competence and knowledge for Aviation Human Resources related to aircraft parking guide procedures and services. The competency standards for aircraft parking guide personnel as stipulated in the Minister of Transportation Regulation Number PM 37 of 2021 concerning airport personnel states that each aircraft parking guide personnel is expected to be able to handle fixed wings aircraft parking guide activities, able to guide fixed wings aircraft with hand signals. This training is given to aviation personnel at stakeholders / aviation companies who do not yet have a marshalling certificate at agencies around the Indonesian Aviation Polytechnic Curug (PPI Curug). This training needs to be held with the aim of increasing the competence of professional and reliable human resources in the field of Aviation, in line with applicable regulations related to airport personnel certification. In addition to gaining knowledge and skills, trainees will get a marshalling competency certificate as the final result of this training activity.

Abstract

AMC (Apron Movement Control) adalah personel bandar udara yang mempunyai lisensi dan kualifikasi untuk mengendalikan ketertiban di apron, keselamatan lalu lintas, menjamin kebersihan apron dan mengatur alokasi parkir pesawat. Tujuan pengendalian yang dilakukan Apron Movement Control (AMC) antara lain untuk menciptakan keselamatan dalam operasional penerbangan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah kinerja petugas AMC berperan penting dalam meningkatkan keselamatan penerbangan Bandara Internasional Adi Soemarmo Solo dan kendala apa saja yang dihadapi petugas AMC dalam menjalankan tugasnya dalam mengatur kelancaran arus penumpang. udara lalu lintas Adi Soemarmo untuk memastikan keamanan Bandara Internasional Solo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder.Observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi digunakan sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Observasi adalah pengawasan atau pengamatan langsung terhadap suatu unit AMC. Dalam penelitian ini, 2 orang personil AMC diwawancarai. Dokumentasi mencakup gambar setiap kejadian atau permasalahan yang ada di lapangan.Dari hasil kajian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kinerja unit AMC Bandara Adi SoemarmoSemata-mata untuk menjamin keselamatan penerbangan khususnya di kawasan bandara sangat penting dan dikatakan baik karena dalam pelaksanaannya, tugas dan tanggung jawabnya sesuai dengan standar operasional prosedur (SOP) dan Angkasa Pura .Pertama, alokasi parkir pesawat. Karena, lalu lintas dikelola di area apron. Pastikan selalu apron atau celemek dalam keadaan bersih. Permasalahan yang paling umum dan umum terjadi pada Unit AMC Bandara Internasional Adi Soemarmo Sola adalah miskomunikasi antar maskapai atau Ground Handling dalam penanganan pesawat dan juga pada insiden kecil..

Abstract

Aviation Security Personnel play a central role in preventing crimes within the aviation sector, bearing significant responsibilities. Strong expertise and competence are crucial in accordance with the requirements outlined in the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia PM Number 28 of 2021 concerning the National Aviation Security Education and Training Program. Aviation Security Awareness training becomes essential, particularly within the Indonesian Aviation Polytechnic Curug campus environment. A 3-month Community Engagement Activity involves various partners including UPBU Budiarto, the Center for Calibration of Flight Facilities, Airnav Indonesia Budiarto-Curug Branch, and BMKG Curug. Experienced instructors in the field of Aviation Security participate in a comprehensive 2-day training, covering topics such as National Aviation Security, Criminal Technology, Trusted Insider Threats, and Aviation Security Threat Handling. The results demonstrate that several entities within the PPI Curug campus community still lack awareness in Aviation Security. The training focuses on National Aviation Security, Criminal Technology, Trusted Insider Threats, and Aviation Security Threat Handling. This training enhances the understanding and capabilities of personnel in executing aviation security measures, applying them in practice, and cultivating an overall commitment to aviation security. The ongoing Aviation Security Awareness training is expected to continuously develop the competence of aviation security personnel, enabling them to perform their duties at the required level of quality.

Abstract

Keselamatan bandara di sisi udara merupakan prioritas tertinggi dalam industri penerbangan, dengan area apron menjadi salah satu lingkungan operasional paling dinamis dan berisiko tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengawasan AMC terhadap operasional GSE, penanganan bahaya satwa liar, dan pengendalian FOD sebagai faktor-faktor krusial yang memengaruhi keselamatan bandara di sisi udara. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan mengkaji berbagai jurnal ilmiah, regulasi keselamatan penerbangan, dan laporan insiden yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Pengawasan AMC terhadap kelaikan dan pergerakan GSE secara signifikan mengurangi potensi tabrakan dan kerusakan infrastruktur; 2) Manajemen dan pengendalian satwa liar di area apron terbukti vital untuk mencegah terjadinya wildlife strike yang dapat membahayakan pesawat saat di darat; 3) Pengendalian FOD secara sistematis dan berkelanjutan menjadi pilar utama dalam mencegah kerusakan pada mesin pesawat dan menjamin keamanan operasional. Secara kolektif, pengawasan AMC yang komprehensif terhadap ketiga faktor tersebut terbukti memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan dalam mewujudkan keselamatan bandara di sisi udara.

Abstract

In the face of increasingly fierce competition in the airline industry, passenger satisfaction is a key element for an airline's success. This study aims to evaluate the influence of three main factors in check-in desk services, namely Service Speed, Officer Friendliness, and Information Clarity on Passenger Satisfaction. The approach in this article is qualitative using library research techniques. The research findings (hypothetical) reveal that the three independent variables of Service Speed, Officer Friendliness, and Information Clarity both individually and together have a positive and significant effect on Passenger Satisfaction. This conclusion makes it clear that efforts to improve service quality in these three aspects are a fundamental and effective strategic step for the airline in increasing overall passenger satisfaction and loyalty.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas rancangan media informasi berbasis barcode sebagai upaya edukasi penumpang mengenai prohibited item di Bandar Udara Kalimarau Berau. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya tingkat pemahaman penumpang terhadap aturan barang bawaan yang diperbolehkan maupun dilarang masuk ke dalam kabin pesawat, yang berdampak pada antrean pemeriksaan dan potensi konflik dengan petugas keamanan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam dengan penumpang dan petugas, serta dokumentasi terhadap proses pemeriksaan dan penyampaian informasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar penumpang belum memahami ketentuan barang bawaan dan mengalami kesulitan mengakses informasi terkait. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, dirancang media informasi berbasis barcode yang ditempatkan di titik-titik strategis terminal, seperti pintu masuk, area check-in, dan ruang tunggu. Media ini memungkinkan penumpang mengakses informasi secara digital melalui ponsel. Implementasi barcode dinilai efektif karena memberikan akses informasi yang cepat, mudah diperbarui, efisien secara ruang dan biaya, serta mendukung digitalisasi pelayanan bandara. Namun, tantangan masih ada terkait kemampuan penumpang dalam menggunakan teknologi, sehingga disarankan adanya kombinasi media konvensional dan digital serta pelatihan bagi petugas untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kepatuhan terhadap aturan keamanan penerbangan.

Abstract

This study aims to design a physical training program based on the FITT principle (Frequency, Intensity, Time, Type) to improve the physical fitness of ARFF (Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting) personnel at Jenderal Ahmad Yani International Airport in Semarang. The research employed a level 1 Research and Development (R&D) method, focusing on product design without field trials. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis during On the Job Training (OJT) at the research site. The findings revealed that ARFF personnel lacked a structured physical training program, as well as motivation and guidance for consistent exercise. The designed training program refers to the FITT principle and is tailored according to age groups and the personnel's fitness levels. It includes cardiovascular exercises, muscular strength training, and flexibility routines scheduled over five training days per week. The program was validated by a sports expert using an evaluation checklist and was deemed suitable for implementation in the ARFF work environment. The implementation of this program is expected to enhance the physical fitness of ARFF personnel and support their preparedness and performance in handling emergency situations at the airport.

Abstract

As one of the roles of universities, especially in the field of Aviation, The Indonesian Aviation Polytechnic is considered necessary to conduct socialization related to the Aviation Operations Safety Zone (KKOP) especially for the community around the airport area. This community service aims to provide knowledge, especially information about the world of aviation related to KKOP which is a land area and / or waters and air space around the airport used for aviation operations in order to ensure flight safety. This activity was carried out by socialization method to the community around Budiarto Airport and The Campus area of Politeknik Penerbangan Indonesia Curug by involving community leaders and youth in Kemuning Village, Legok District, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province for one day. The implementation of socialization also involves Cadets Diploma III Study Program Airport Operations who actively prepare materials accompanied by lecturers in the hope that Cadets can directly interact with the surrounding community in conveying the knowledge that has been learned on campus. With this KKOP Socialization activity, it is expected that the dissemination of knowledge related to KKOP in kemuning villagers is expected to increase the awareness of the community around Budiarto Airport and the Campus of The Indonesian Aviation Polytechnic Curug when conducting activities around the aviation operations area

Abstract

Keselamatan dan keamanan penerbangan baik itu terhadap sarana maupun prasarana penerbangan merupakan tanggung jawab bersama Pemerintah, pelaku usaha bidang penerbangan, Pengguna Jasa Penerbangan dan masyarakat sekitar Bandar Udara (Putra, 2019). Oleh karena itu pemahaman yang memadai tentang faktor-faktor yang dapat menjadi penyebab terganggunya keselamatan, keamanan penerbangan dan kelancaran pelayanan penerbangan sangat diperlukan masyarakat luas. Pemahaman masyarakat atas keselamatan dan keamanan penerbangan di sekitar wilayah kedudukan bandar udara menjadi salah satu faktor pendukung terjaminnya keselamatan dan keamanan penerbangan (Island et al., 2021). Memperhatikan pentingnya pemahaman masyarakat terhadap keselamatan dan keamanan penerbangan, dirasa perlu memberikan pelatihan Safety and Security Awareness pada warga masyarakat disekitar bandar udara Ngeloram, Cepu. Tahapan Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini berlangsung selama 5 bulan terhitung dari tahap perencanaan sampai dengan evaluasi, penyusunan laporan akhir PKM dan Publikasi. Kegiatan pelatihan akan melibatkan para pengajar yang sudah berpengalaman di bidang Safety and Security Awareness dan dilaksanakan selama 1 hari dengan materi pelatihan yang komprehensif. Diharapkan dengan pelatihan Safety and Security Awareness ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan, pemahaman dan kesadaran masyarakat sekitar bandara dan lingkungan strategis serta membantu bandara dalam menjaga Kawasan Keselamatan Operasi Penerbangan terkait pentingnya aspek Keamanan dan Keselamatan penerbangan.
