Abstract

This research was conducted on employees of garment companies in Serang Regency with the aim of knowing and analyzing the influence of education level on work motivation, competency on work motivation, level of education on organizational commitment, competency on organizational commitment, work motivation on organizational commitment, level of education on organizational commitment through work motivation and competence towards organizational commitment through work motivation. This research uses a quantitative method with a correlational design with a total population of 850 garment company employees in Serang Regency with sample determination using proportional techniques by multiplying the number of indicators by the lim scale so that the sample studied is 190 samples. The analysis method in this research uses regression analysis with the SmartPls statistical tool. The research results obtained from seven hypotheses, three hypotheses were rejected and four hypotheses were accepted. The conclusion of this research is that the level of education has a significant effect on organizational commitment and work motivation, competence has no effect on organizational commitment and work motivation, the level of education has a significant effect on organizational commitment through motivation. work and competence have no effect on organizational commitment through work motivation

Abstract

The footwear industry in Indonesia faces major challenges in maintaining competitiveness and operational efficiency, especially amid global pressure to implement sustainability principles. As one of the approaches that prioritizes efficient and environmentally friendly resource management, green manufacturing is a major concern for companies in improving performance. This study aims to analyze the influence of green manufacturing implementation on company performance in the footwear industry. The data analysis technique used in this study is SEM (Structural Equation Modelling) with the LISREL 8.80 program. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to managers and operational staff in several footwear companies in Tangerang Regency to test the relationship between green manufacturing variables and company performance measured based on green design, green process, and green procurement. The study results show that implementing green manufacturing has a positive and significant influence on the performance of footwear industry companies. Applying environmentally friendly technology and using energy and raw materials efficiently has been proven to increase productivity and reduce operational costs. In addition, companies that adopt green manufacturing also recorded improved product quality that is more consistent and in accordance with international standards. This study concludes that applying green manufacturing principles can be an effective strategy to improve the performance of footwear industry companies in terms of productivity, cost efficiency, and product quality. Therefore, companies in this sector are advised to integrate green manufacturing into their production processes to support sustainability and competitiveness in the global market.

Abstract

In order to build a conducive learning atmosphere and support learning effectiveness, a strategy is needed to utilize appropriate and relevant teaching materials. One of the steps that can be taken is to choose a contextual-based teaching material PAKEM learning model. The PAKEM learning model and contextual approach are considered to be able to accommodate learning that is in line with the expected learning objectives. This study used public elementary schools located in Carenang District as samples. The research data were 16 schools with a total sample of 165 samples. The data used in this study consists of primary data obtained through questionnaires, observations, and documentation, as well as quantitative data that is cross-sectional in nature with measurements using a Likert scale. The data was analyzed using the inferential method with the Warp PLS application version 8.0. The results of the study showed that the PAKEM model and contextual approach influenced learning achievement and motivation, and learning motivation mediated the influence of both on learning achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence capability and agility have on competitiveness mediated by competitive advantage in students of State Vocational High School (SMK) 4 Cilegon. This study uses a descriptive causality design with quantitative methodology. The sample used is adjusted to the analysis method using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) of 190 respondents. Data collection techniques are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are primary data and secondary data. Primary data is obtained through survey methods, secondary data is obtained through documentation. The analysis techniques used are descriptive statistics, inferential statistical analysis, validity and reliability tests, evaluation of reflective measurement models (outer models), evaluation of structural models (inner models), and evaluation of the goodness and suitability of the model. The results of this study indicate that the coefficient value of the Capability path to Competitiveness through Competitive Advantage is 0.144 positive value, with at statistics of 3.299> 1.96 and a P Value of 0.001 <0.05, so that it proves that Competitive Advantage is able to mediate the influence of Capability on Competitiveness. The coefficient value of the Agility path to Competitiveness through Competitive Advantage is 0.190 positive value, with at statistics of 3.801> 1.96 and a P Value of 0.000 <0.05 so that it proves that Competitive Advantage is able to mediate the influence of Agility on Competitiveness. So, to increase competitiveness can be done through competitive advantage through agility.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of education level and competency on work motivation and organizational commitment among garment company employees in Serang Regency. Specifically, it analyzes the direct effects of education level and competency on work motivation and organizational commitment, as well as the indirect effects of education level and competency on organizational commitment through work motivation. This research employs a quantitative approach with a correlational design, involving a total population of 850 employees. The sample size of 190 respondents was determined using a proportional sampling technique, multiplying the number of indicators by the Likert scale. Data analysis was conducted using regression analysis with the SmartPLS statistical tool. The findings reveal that out of seven tested hypotheses, four were accepted, and three were rejected. The results indicate that education level significantly influences both work motivation and organizational commitment, while competency does not significantly affect either work motivation or organizational commitment. Additionally, education level has a significant impact on organizational commitment through work motivation, whereas competency does not exhibit such an effect. Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Mahasiswa (KKM) merupakan wadah strategis dalam mengimplementasikan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, khususnya pada aspek pendidikan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan literasi sains siswa sekolah dasar melalui program Science Club yang dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa KKM Kelompok 80 Universitas Bina Bangsa di SDN Rancagoong, Desa Garut. Pelaksanaan program berlangsung selama tiga minggu dengan enam kali pertemuan, di mana setiap pertemuan dirancang secara tematik dan interaktif menggunakan eksperimen sederhana. Materi yang diberikan meliputi gaya pegas, reaksi kimia, titik keseimbangan, gelembung udara, gaya gravitasi, serta getaran dan suara. Peserta kegiatan berjumlah 22 siswa gabungan dari kelas V dan VI. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan saintifik yang terintegrasi dengan model pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan peningkatan keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran, munculnya rasa ingin tahu yang tinggi, serta pemahaman konseptual yang lebih baik terhadap topik yang dipelajari. Program ini tidak hanya memperkuat kemampuan kognitif siswa, tetapi juga mengasah keterampilan sosial seperti kerja sama, komunikasi, dan kepercayaan diri. Dengan demikian, Science Club menjadi alternatif pembelajaran yang efektif, menyenangkan, dan dapat direplikasi sebagai praktik baik dalam kegiatan pengabdian di bidang pendidikan dasar.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the important role of school principals in improving teacher performance, which in turn has an impact on the overall quality of education. Work culture is considered a mediating factor that can strengthen or weaken the relationship between leadership and principal competence and teacher performance. This research aims to analyze the influence of principal leadership and principal competence on teacher performance through work culture in State Elementary Schools in Pontang District, Serang Regency. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach. Data was collected through 135 questionnaires distributed to teachers at State Elementary Schools in Pontang District. Data analysis was carried out using multiple regression statistical techniques and path analysis to test the relationship between variables. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the principal's leadership (X1) and the principal's competence (X2) and work culture (Y) have a significant positive influence of 84.0% on teacher performance (Z) in State Elementary Schools in Pontang District, Regency. Attack. This means that teacher performance is influenced by 84.0% by the three exogenous variables, namely Principal Leadership, Principal Competency and Work Culture, while the remaining 16.0% is influenced by other variables outside the variables tested in this thesis model. These findings underline the need for special attention to developing work culture in the school environment as part of a strategy to improve teacher performance

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the direct effect of organizational culture and teacher competence on job satisfaction; the direct effect of organizational culture on performance, teacher competence and job satisfaction on performance; the indirect effect of organizational culture and teacher competence on performance through job satisfaction of Elementary School Teachers in Carenang District, Serang Regency, Banten Province. This study uses a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The population of this study was all Elementary School Teachers in Carenang District, Serang Regency, Banten Province, totaling 182 people. The sampling technique used was proportional random sampling. The sample size was 165 respondents. The research instrument was developed based on the grid compiled from the theory that has been explained in the theoretical basis. Data were collected using a questionnaire. The study was conducted in June-July 2024. The findings of this study indicate that organizational culture and teacher competence has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction; organizational culture; teacher competence; and job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on Performance; job satisfaction is able to mediate the influence of organizational culture and teacher competence on the Performance of Elementary School Teachers in Carenang District, Serang Regency, Banten Province

Abstract

Penelitian ini berujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengendalikan cacat visual welding pada produk steel structure di PT IHI Power Service Indonesia dengan menggunakan metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) dan Fault Tree Analysis (FTA). Data cacat dieproleh dari observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dan dokumen produk periode April 2024 – Maret 2025, yang mencapai 571 cacat visual welding dari total 108.344 pcs. Hasil analisis FMEA menunjukan bahwa faktor penyebab utama adalah gas pelindung tidak stabil dengan nilai RPN sebesar 320, diikuti lingkungan lembab dengan RPN 210. Melalui FTA didefinisikan akar penyebab dari kedua faktor tersebut, meliputi aspek manusia, mesin, dan lingkungan, seperti penyimpanan material yang tidak sesuai. Rekomendasi perbaikan disusun menggunakan pendekatan 5W+2H, antara lain kalibrasi peralatan setiap minggu, pelatihan teknik pengelasan dua kali setahun, inspeksi lima kali peritem, penyimpanan material pada area tertutup bersuhu 23oC-26oC dengan kelembapan 40% - 60%, serta memanaskan material yang lembab menggunakan preheating.
