Abstract

The tittle of this research is "Contribution of Information Quality of Work Effectiveness Against Employee Education and Higher Secondary Education Department of West Java Province". In general, this study aims to determine how much influence the quality of information on the effectiveness of employees working in the field Dikmenti Education Department of West Java Province. The method used in this research is descriptive method with quantitative approach. The data collection technique using a closed questionnaire distributed to 49 employees as the study population (total sampling). Weight calculation results Mean Score (WMS), shows that the quality of information included in either category with a score of 2.97 and the effectiveness of the employees included in the excellent category with a score of 3.08. Normality test results on the distribution of the data showed that the variables X and Y have normal distribution, further analysis of the data using statistical parametric. The correlation analysis using Pearson Product Moment correlation coefficient between variables X and Y is equal to 0.742 which shows that the correlation of the two variables are at the level of positive relationships and strong. Meanwhile, the results of significance test using t-test comparison is t_hitung (7.579)> t_tabel (2,012) means that there is a significant relationship between the variables X and Y. Further, test results of the coefficient of determination is that the variable X contributes to variable Y for 55% and the rest 45% influenced by other factors. Results of regression analysis equation Y = 13.955 + 0.742 X. The conclusion is evident that there is a strong and significant relationship between Quality of Work Effectiveness Against Information Officer of Secondary and Higher Education in the Education Department of West Java Province.

Abstract

In developing country, it takes quality human resources through education. The government needs to create a program that can make the distribution of education in Indonesia. This paper aimed at analyzing the existing compulsory education programs and factors that affect the realization of the 12 years compulsory education program in Majalengka by using SWOT analysis techniques. This paper used descriptive qualitative approach. The data were collected through interviews, documentation and observation. The result provided the strategy of the implementation 12 years compulsory education was raising awareness of the people of Majalengka about the importance of education especially the 12 years compulsory education.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the effect of the principals academic supervision to increase digital literacy on the teaching performance. The method used in this research is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. This study took a sample of the population using a questionnaire instrument as a data collection technique. Schools that became the population and sample of 63 public elementary schools in Ciparay District. Sampling using a questionnaire which includes the location of the study in elementary school of Ciparay district with a total of 80 respondents. The results of this research explained that the principal's academic supervision effective to increase digital literacy the teacher on the management of teaching learning. The implication of the results of this study is that if the principal's academic supervision and digital literacy are carried out properly, it will have an impact on improving teacher learning management.

Abstract

AbstrakKepala sekolah merupakan komponen yang sangat strategis dan berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan mutu sekolah. Karena itu diperlukan suatu kondisi yang mampu mendorong kepala sekolah untuk memperoleh prestasi kinerja yang lebih tinggi. Fokus masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana deskripsi kinerja kepala sekolah, kualitas kehidupan kerja, dan motivasi berprestasi kepala sekolah, serta berapa besar kontribusi kualitas kehidupan kerja dan motivasi berprestasi kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja kepala sekolah. Tujuannyauntuk menganalisis dan memverifikasi terkait kontribusi kualitas kehidupan kerja dan motivasi berprestasi kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja kepala sekolahdi sekolah dasar terakrediasi A se-Kabupaten Cirebon. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey dengan instrumen angket dan dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Objek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah dasar negeri terakreditasi A di Kabupaten Cirebon dengan sampel sebanyak 69 kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) kualitas kehidupan kerja berkontribusi terhadap kinerja kepala sekolah sebesar 34,3% (2) motivasi berprestasi kepala sekolah berkontribusi sebesar 28% (3) kualitas kehidupan kerja dan motivasi berprestasi kepala sekolah secara simultan berkontribusi terhadap kinerja kepala sekolah sebesar 37,3%. Rekomendasi penelitian ini adalah pentingnya menciptakan kualitas kehidupan kerja sebagai iklim yang baik bagi kepala sekolah mengingat kinerja kepala sekolah merupakan faktor penting dalam upaya meningkatkan mutu sekolah. Kata Kunci           : Kualitas Kehidupan Kerja, Motivasi Berprestasi Kepala Sekolah, Kinerja Kepala Sekolah. AbstractThe principal is a very influential and strategic component to increase of the school’s quality. Due to that reason, it needs a certain situation which is able to encourage the school principal to gain a higher work achievement. The research’s focus is about how the description of the principal’sperformance, the quality of work life, the principal’s achievement motivation and how high the contribution of quality of work life and the achievement motivation tothe principal’s performance. The purpose is to analyze and verify the contribution of the quality of work life and the principal’s achievement motivation to the principal’s performance in public elementary schools accredited A in all Cirebon regency. The research method applied is a survey method with questionnaire instruments and is analyzed with the use of quantitative approach. The research object is the principals of public elementary schools accredited A in all Cirebon regency with 69 samples of the principals. The research result shows that (1) the quality of work life contributes to the principal’s performance by 34.3%, (2) the principal’s achievement motivation contributes to the principal’s performance by 28 %, (3) the quality of work life and the principal’s achievement motivation simultaneously contributes to the principal’s performance by 37.3%. The research’s recommendation is on the essential of creating the quality of work life as a good climate to the principals considering the principal’s performance as an important factor with a mean of increasing the school quality. Key words             : Quality of Work Life, Principal’s Achievement Motivation, Principal’sPerformance

Abstract

ABSTRAKBahwa upaya-upaya perubahan secara umum banyak mengalami kegagalan, tidak terkecuali dalam penyelenggaran sistem pendidikan. Artikel ini menyajikan laporan hasil penelitian suatu upaya perubahan berupa pengembangan kapasitas sekolah dalam penerapan manajemen berbasis sekolah pada satuan pendidikan dasar. Tujuan penelitian ini secara umum diarahkan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis permasalahan aspek-aspek dimensional manajemen perubahan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan mengacu pada paradigma penelitian kualitatif yang  menggunakan data primer yang diambil dari catatan lapangan sejumlah hasil wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Temuan-temuan esensial hasil penelitian telah didialogkan dan dikonsultasikan dengan sejumlah pandangan akademik yang relevan. Pada batas-batas tertentu prinsip-prinsip MBS sudah dapat teraktualisasikan. Namun demikian pada aspek-aspek dimensional manajemen perubahan masih ada kelemahan. Karena itu rentan untuk keberlanjutan perubahan yang telah dicapai. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, peneliti mengajukan suatu model strategi perubahan sistemik yang memadukan kepemimpinan dalam perubahan untuk mengatasi risiko perubahan. Kata Kunci: Perspektif Manajemen Perubahan, Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah, Pengembangan Kapasitas Sekolah,  Kepemimpinan Perubahan, Sistem Peringatan Dini. ABSTRACT The essence of the research relates to change management of a school capacity building program in terms of the implementation of school-based management (SBM) for basic education unit.  In general, the research is aimed to identify and analyze the problems of change management dimensional aspects. The research methods employed refer to qualitative research paradigm using primary data that are drawn from a number of interview, obervation and documentation study in field. In general, the changes for better independence, transparency, participation and accountability take place and impact to among others school condition that leads comfortability of study and motivates the schools in terms of accrediation. For certain contexts, while the SBM principles have already been actualized there continues to be the weaknesses of changes management dealing with dimensional aspects. Therefore, the sustainability of achieved changes would be vulnerable maintained. For above problems, the researcher would propose a systemic change strategic model that involve leadership of changes in order to cope with the risks. Keywords: Chang Management Perspective, School-Based Management, School Capacity Building, Change Leadership, Early Warning Syatem.

Abstract

Pendidikan tinggi memiliki fungsi untuk membantu masyarakat agar memiliki kemampuan yang sangat tinggi sehingga mereka dapat memahami tantangan bersamaan dengan globalisasi dan ekonomi global, yang dapat digunakan untuk mensejahterakan bangsa dan negara yang sedang berkembang. Kondisi objektif bangsa, tantangan global dan tantangan teknologi informasi, membuat pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia berada dalam depresi yang sangat tinggi, mengembangkan pendidikan tinggi, terutama di era globalisasi saat ini, berharap untuk lingkungan eksternal yang dinamis di pendidikan tinggi, itu sangat dipengaruhi ekonomi pasar. Sebaliknya, peran dan posisi pendidikan tinggi juga dapat mempengaruhi pasar yang dinamis terutama dalam kaitannya dengan pengembangan sumber daya manusia dan pengetahuan dan teknologi. Lingkungan eksternal pendidikan tinggi adalah lingkungan strategis di mana kompetensi terus terjadi dan tak terbendung atau terhenti. Karena kebutuhan pendidikan tinggi akan konsep baru yang dapat mencapai keunggulan pelayanan agar mampu mempertahankan mahasiswa memperoleh nilai bersamaan dengan partisipasi mereka dalam pendidikan di pendidikan tinggi. Dengan demikian, sebagaimana mestinya pendidikan tinggi yang hadir seimbang dengankualitas, dengan demikian pendidikan tinggi memiliki keunggulan kompetitif. Keterbukaan untuk berinteraksi dengan berbagai dukungan strategis adalah karakter dasar yang sangat penting dan sebagai sarana untuk memindahkan cepatnya dan juga sebagai sarana untuk mengembangkan keunggulan kompetitifHigher education has functions to help society to have very high abilities thus they can understand the obstacles along with the globalization and global economy, which can be used to welfare nation and developing country. Objective nation condition, global challenge and challenge of technology information, makes higher education in Indonesia is in very high depression, developing higher education, particularly in this globalization era nowadays, hope to the dynamic external environment of higher education that is very influence by market economy. The opposite, role and position of higher education can also influence market dynamic especially in relation with the development of Human Resources and knowledge and technology. External environment of this higher education is strategic environment where competency continuously occurs and unstoppable or stopped. Therefore higher education needs new concept that can reached service excellence in order able to maintain college students to gain value along with their participation in education of higher education. Thus as it should be higher education present balance with good quality thus has competitive advantage. Openness to interact with various strategic support is a basic character that is very important and as the means to move fastly and also as means to develop competitive advantage.
