This phenomenon often garners media attention, as the number of incidents has significantly increased. Suicidal ideation frequently occurs in teenagers, and many who seek consultation report similar thoughts or engage in self-harm. The approach to problem-solving proposed in this research is the use of a virtual nurse as an early detection service for suicide risk behavior. A Virtual Nurse is an artificial intelligence-based application or system designed to provide health services and psychological support, particularly for teenagers. The Virtual Nurse uses machine learning algorithms to analyze user behavior, speech patterns, and interactions to identify signs of suicide risk. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Virtual Nurse in detecting suicide risk behavior in adolescents. Method: This research utilized a pre-experimental design with a one-shot case study approach. Results: The implementation of the virtual nurse application for the detection of suicide risk behavior in adolescents over four weeks yielded favorable outcomes for 116 students (16%), while 74 students (39%) were categorized as showing poor results and the score for using virtual nurse in detecting suicide risk was 84 points. The result was that virtual nurse were classified as good in detecting suicide risk behavior in adolescents. Conclusion: The virtual nurse is an artificial intelligence-based application or system designed to provide psychological services and support to its users, particularly teenagers.

Abstract

Introduction: Implementing conventional and online learning is considered insufficient to balance current educational needs, so blended learning is needed, combining the two learning methods to include more comprehensive learning. This study aims to systematically investigate the literature regarding the effectiveness of blended learning for undergraduate nursing students in Indonesia. Methods: Systematic review by searching articles using CINAHL, PubMed, Science Direct, ProQuest, SINTA, GARUDA, manual search, and electronic search engine "Google Scholar," with full-text article criteria, articles that have been published since Blended Learning was carried out for nursing students using Indonesian and English articles, the keywords used are Nursing student, blended learning, the effectiveness of blended learning. The research design included a Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) and a Quasi-Experimental Study. Results: A total of 15 research articles, a Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT), A qualitative study, and a Quasi-Experimental Study that met the eligibility criteria, and all showed that blended learning can significantly help nursing student learning, including knowledge, clinical practice skills, learning content and instruction, learning reflection, and learning information media. There are differences in the results found from the use of media and learning materials provided and used. Conclusion: Conclusion: Blended learning can be used as a learning reference because it is considered effective in carrying out the learning process in nursing.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) infection is one of the diseases whose spread is influenced by environmental and behavioral factors. One of the psychological impacts felt by pulmonary TB patients is stress. Stress that the patient experiences over a long period of time and is not overcome will affect the patient's quality of life. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of quality of life of pulmonary tuberculosis patients who experience stress with the disease. The research design used in this study is correlation analytic. The population of this study was 62 and a sample of 54 respondents with a sampling technique that is consecutive sampling. Stress levels were measured using the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS 42) questionnaire. The quality of life of the respondents was measured by the St. George Respiratory Questionnaire (SGRQ) questionnaire. The research data was compiled using Microsoft Excel and then reviewed for completeness. The complete data was coded or underwent the coding process. Data on stress levels and quality of life for tuberculosis (TB) patients were categorical with a nominal scale, so the statistical test used was the Chi-Square Test. The results of analysis using Chi Square test obtained p-value of 0.000 or <0.05. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between the level of stress with the quality of life of patients with pulmonary TB in the working area of the State Health Center II.
