Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of blockchain technology on traditional business models: potential and challenges. Through quantitative methods with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires, interviews, observations and written notes. Then analyzed using statistical methods. Descriptive and inferential statistical data analysis methods. The findings in this study are that blockchain technology has significant potential and benefits for traditional businesses, including increasing operational efficiency, data security, transparency and accountability, and reducing operational costs. However, the implementation of blockchain technology is highly dependent on the ability of traditional businesses to overcome several challenges such as regulatory compliance challenges, acceptance and adaptation, smart contract implementation, and interoperability.

Abstract

Dropshippers have a role to promote and sell company products. This research aims to reveal the dropshipping business process on the Shopee application and the use of social media Instagram and TikTok by a business actor named Anne Leather. This type of research is descriptive using qualitative methods to present all business processes from sales and ordering to delivery of goods to consumers. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques through interactive model analysis form data reduction, data presentation, and drawing up conclusions. This research shows that in this Dropship System, there are three related actors: buyers, suppliers and dropshippers. The dropshipping business process for Anne Leather's business begins with recording orders and communicating via the Shopee application and social media TikTok and Instagram. Dropshippers don't need to buy goods, don't need to carry out stock, don't need to pack and send goods, the supplier carries out all these processes. Consumers can make transactions via the Shopee application with drop shippers. Delivery of goods will occur if there is a transaction in which the consumer transfers the money to the designated bank, and the wholesaler will send the goods to the consumer. The supplier provides goods that have been agreed with the drop shipper and sends them to consumers. Thus, this dropship strategy is needed to increase sales for leather entrepreneurs and profits for intermediaries (dropshippers). Apart from that, it is easy to carry out sales transactions for consumers.

Abstract

Tingginya angka kemiskinan mendorong penyaluran program bantuan pangan, yang dalam prosesnya sering menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti kondisi geografis yang sulit dan keterbatasan infrastruktur. Oleh karena itu, pemilihan rute distribusi yang efisien sangat penting, seperti yang diterapkan oleh PT. XYZ dalam strategi distribusinya di Kabupaten Sumedang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana pemilihan rute yang efisien dapat meningkatkan efektivitas distribusi, menghemat biaya, serta memastikan bantuan sampai tepat waktu dan dalam kondisi baik. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk menggali pemahaman mendalam terkait strategi pemilihan rute distribusi pada program bantuan pangan di PT. XYZ, khususnya di wilayah Kabupaten Sumedang. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi langsung, dan analisis dokumen, melibatkan berbagai pihak terkait seperti manajemen perusahaan, koordinator lapangan, dan staf operasional untuk memahami proses kerja dan tantangan yang dihadapi. Dalam pemilihan rute distribusinya, PT. XYZ menggunakan prinsip dasar metode nearest neighbor. Namun, penerapannya masih bersifat semi-manual dan belum sepenuhnya otomatis atau berbasis algoritma nearest neighbor murni. Dengan mengadopsi teknologi seperti perangkat lunak optimasi rute berbasis algoritma nearest neighbor, PT. XYZ dapat lebih menghemat waktu, biaya, dan meningkatkan efisiensi operasional. Meski demikian, metode ini telah membantu PT. XYZ dalam mendistribusikan bantuan pangan ke 242 desa yang tersebar di 26 kecamatan di Kabupaten Sumedang, dengan meminimalkan jarak tempuh, menghemat waktu, dan mengurangi penggunaan bahan bakar.

Abstract

This study investigates land transportation issues in the delivery of palm kernel at PT X and proposes a structured vendor management strategy. Despite relying on third-party vendors to enhance cost efficiency and flexibility, PT X faces frequent delays caused by a mismatch between planned and actual truck arrivals, poor road conditions, and the lack of a documented performance evaluation system. Using a qualitative approach, this research employs fishbone analysis to identify root causes from six dimensions: man, material, machine, method, environment, and measurement. The findings highlight that delivery delays are a multidimensional problem, requiring systematic improvements in both internal management and vendor coordination. This study recommends a data-driven vendor management strategy with enhanced documentation, standard operating procedures, and regular performance evaluation. Implementing these measures is expected to improve delivery efficiency, maintain product quality, and support sustainable logistics operations at PT X.

Abstract

In the era of technology and increasingly tight logistics industry competition, the speed and accuracy of distribution services are very important to maintain the company's competitiveness. Various reasons, including the lack of digitization of motor vehicle delay recording (KBM) as the company's distribution key. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that cause these delays and to determine how important database development is to build an efficient logistics information system. This study uses a Pareto diagram based on the 80/20 principle to determine the most important factors causing obstacles and Fishbone Diagram analysis to map the causal factors in a structured manner. The results of the analysis show that more than 80% of distribution delays are caused by KBM problems, operational problems, and road conditions. Additionally, the Fishbone diagram analysis indicates that engine factors (KBM) and operational policies are the two primary causes requiring special attention. This further strengthens the fact that creating a comprehensive and accurate database is very important as a basis for designing PT PSL's logistics information system.
