Abstract

Increasingly advanced technological developments force business people to be adaptive, especially when there is an increase in production. The KCM division, one of the PT XYZ business units operating in the media sector, experienced increased production. This causes the production equipment to be borrowed irregularly, and information on the warehouse of production equipment is also difficult to find. The Warehouse Information System is the solution to this problem. This research aims to create a warehousing information system that records all information on borrowing production equipment, fulfills warehousing information needs, and solves several existing warehousing problems. This research method is an experimental one-shot case study designed with the Framework for the Applications of System Thinking (FAST) and using simple, easily accessible, and free tools, namely Google Spreadsheet and Javascript coding. The results of this research are that the KCM division's warehousing information system that has been created has been tested to be 100% capable of meeting information needs for borrowing production equipment and resolving existing warehousing problems based on system tests that have been carried out. It is recommended that this system be further developed in future research to overcome minor errors in coding.

Abstract

Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi kini telah merubah kebiasan masyarakat menggunakan internet dalam segala hal termasuk perdagangan. Marketplace merupakan wadah bagi para pengusaha untuk mempromosikan dan memasarkan produk secara online. Keamanan merupakan hal yang penting dalam melakukan transaksi online di Marketplace. Maka dari itu program pengabdian masyarakat di Desa Mekarsari ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman akan pentingnya keamanan marketplace. Program pengabdian ini dilaksanakan melalui observasi, sosialisasi dan pelatihan. Program pelatihan ini diikuti 30 peserta yang terdiri masyarakat dan pelaku UMKM. Pelatihan marketplace ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman akan pentingnya keamanan bertransaksi secara online yang dilihat dari adanya peningkatan nilai dari hasil pre-test dan post-test yang dikerjakan sebelum dan sesudah acara diselenggarakan.

Abstract

In the era of technology and increasingly tight logistics industry competition, the speed and accuracy of distribution services are very important to maintain the company's competitiveness. Various reasons, including the lack of digitization of motor vehicle delay recording (KBM) as the company's distribution key. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that cause these delays and to determine how important database development is to build an efficient logistics information system. This study uses a Pareto diagram based on the 80/20 principle to determine the most important factors causing obstacles and Fishbone Diagram analysis to map the causal factors in a structured manner. The results of the analysis show that more than 80% of distribution delays are caused by KBM problems, operational problems, and road conditions. Additionally, the Fishbone diagram analysis indicates that engine factors (KBM) and operational policies are the two primary causes requiring special attention. This further strengthens the fact that creating a comprehensive and accurate database is very important as a basis for designing PT PSL's logistics information system.
