Abstract

Stunting is a condition of impaired growth in toddlers due to prolonged nutritional deficiencies. This issue is a significant global nutritional problem, particularly in poor and developing countries, including Indonesia. This study aims to examine the relationship between macronutrient intake, food security at the household level, and nutrition-related knowledge on the incidence of stunting among toddlers in the working area of Cimarga Health Center. This study employed a cross-sectional design. The sample size consisted of 99 toddlers from 11 villages within the Cimarga Health Center's jurisdiction. Analysis was conducted using the Chi-Square test. The findings reveal a stunting prevalence of 34.3% among toddlers. There is a significant relationship between household food security (p=0.014) and the incidence of stunting (OR=1.630; 95% CI=1.381-1.923). However, no significant relationships were found between energy intake (p=0.140), carbohydrate intake (p=0.544), protein intake (p=0.607), fat intake (p=0.439), and maternal nutrition knowledge (p=0.411) with the incidence of stunting in toddlers in the Cimarga Health Center area. This study underscores the importance of enhancing household food security as a primary strategy to reduce stunting despite the lack of significant relationships between macro-nutrient intake and maternal nutrition knowledge

Abstract

Abstrak: Pendidikan memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Lembaga pendidikan dituntut untuk dapat mengikuti perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang semakin pesat. Pendidikan di Indonesia saat ini mengalami banyak tantangan dan masalah. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya peran serta pemerintah dalam menjamin peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan menemukan permasalahan, kendala, dan tantangan penerapan teori belajar dalam pembelajaran, implementasi student-centered learning dan jenis penilaian yang digunakan oleh guru di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan berupa pendekatan kuantitatif melalui pengisian angket atau lembar penilaian yang meliputi lima aspek penilaian. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2022 di SMKN 38 Jakarta. Sumber data dalam penelitian berupa data primer dengan melibatkan lima orang guru di SMKN 38 Jakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru sudah menerapkan student-centered learning. Dimana dalam proses pembelajaran, guru juga akan memberikan motivasi serta memberikan tugas, baik dalam bentuk tugas individu maupun kelompok. Peserta didik juga terlibat langsung dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, hal ini dapat dilihat dari adanya kegiatan tanya jawab dan presentasi hasil diskusi serta kegiatan belajar lainnya yang mengasah pemikiran dan ide peserta didik. Dalam melakukan penilaian, guru memiliki rubrik penilaian.   Abstract: Education plays an important role in improving the quality of human resources. Educational institutions must keep up with the rapid development of science and technology. Education in Indonesia is currently experiencing many challenges and problems. Therefore, the government's role is needed to ensure the improvement of the quality of education in Indonesia. This study aims to find problems, obstacles, and challenges in applying learning theory in learning, implementing student-centered learning, and the types of assessments teachers use in schools. The method used is a quantitative approach, which involves filling out questionnaires or assessment sheets covering five aspects of assessment. This research was conducted in November 2022 at SMKN 38 Jakarta. The primary data source in the study was data from five teachers at SMKN 38 Jakarta. The results of the study showed that teachers had implemented student-centered learning. Teachers will also provide motivation in the learning process and give individual and group assignments. Students are also directly involved in learning activities, and this can be seen from the question and answer activities, presentations of discussion results, and other learning activities that hone students' thoughts and ideas. Teachers have an assessment rubric for conducting assessments.
