Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the significance of the sandwich generation's financial management experiences in challenging financial times. Qualitative research design using interpretive phenomenological approach was employed. Three individuals who embodied the sandwich generation were interviewed in-depth in order to gather data. The Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis method was employed to examine the interview results. The findings of this study suggest that the elements that drive informants to fulfill their role as a sandwich generation include favorable attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, and felt religiosity. Based on his interpretation of the event, the informant experienced good emotions such as pride and believed that taking on this responsibility was a way of showing his parents love

Abstract

The government has implemented entrepreneurship education at many levels of school with the main goal of producing experienced and talented young entrepreneurs to maintain the workforce and reduce unemployment. The core of entrepreneurship education is to prepare students to have the ability, thinking, and managerial capacity, as well as entrepreneurial skills, not just working for a salary. One important concept in entrepreneurship education is the Business Model Canvas (BMC). This model is used to describe, visualize, assess, and update business models, in order to obtain optimal performance. Santo Yoseph Catholic High School (SMAK) Denpasar is a private high school located at Denpasar, Bali. The community service carried out was in the form of BMC training activities. The aim is to increase and develop students' entrepreneurial insights, especially related to BMC for SMAK Santo Yoseph Denpasar students. This activity was attended by 46 students. The activity began with the presentation of BMC material by the resource person. The event continued with the practice of making BMC by student groups according to their business ideas. This activity has provided benefits to students so that they are able to make BMC well which they can use to describe, design, and change business models effectively.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out to improve students' abilities in product presentation for entrepreneurship, in line with the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum. The method used in this training involves designing a pitch deck according to the Kawasaki Rule and presenting the product (pitching). The result of this community service activity is a pitch deck presentation video for a business product that has been designed and uploaded to YouTube. From the training activities and the outputs produced, students demonstrated that this training and practice improved their abilities in presenting business products, as measured by the pitching results and pitch decks created based on an analytic assessment rubric. The assessment rubric consists of 2 categories (pitching and pitch deck) with a total of 7 indicators, namely duration, content, delivery method, slides, digital media, cohesion, and language use.

Abstract

The sustainability of MSMEs is one of the important issues for economic growth, because the existence of this business is more adaptive to change and has the opportunity for resilience in uncertainty. This study aims to analyze the sustainability of MSMEs based on their technological adaptation through social media by referring to the TOEI framework. Quantitative design is considered appropriate for the purpose of the study by utilizing a questionnaire as a data collection instrument targeting MSME owners in Bali Province. The sampling technique applied is probability sampling with the provisions of SEM analysis, the minimum sample size is 145 and the maximum is 290 data. Based on the results of data collection in the field, 190 valid data were obtained to enter the analysis stage. Data analysis was carried out using WarpPLS 7.0 software because the analysis is simpler. The results of the study indicate that the adoption of social media is positively and significantly influenced by technological factors, environmental factors and individual factors, while organizational factors do not show a significant influence. Regarding the sustainability of MSMEs, only organizational factors and social media adoption practices show a positive and significant influence. This study also proves that the adoption of social media can act as a mediator of the influence of technological factors and environmental factors on the sustainability of MSMEs. In the long term, the research results can be applied to MSMEs by improving the quality of social media so as to support MSMEs to be more adaptive, facilitate the determination of resilience strategies, improve performance, and mitigate risks.

Abstract

Di era perkembangan pariwisata yang pesat, industri perhotelan menuntut tenaga kerja dengan kompetensi kuat dalam menjaga standar operasional secara profesional. Salah satu keterampilan penting dalam sektor ini adalah pengendalian biaya, yang memiliki peran vital dalam manajemen keuangan operasional hotel, memengaruhi profitabilitas serta mencerminkan efisiensi operasional. Berdasarkan evaluasi yang dilakukan oleh SMK 1 Klungkung, ditemukan bahwa siswa kelas 12 jurusan akuntansi masih kurang memahami keterampilan pengendalian biaya, yang menjadi tantangan saat mereka mempersiapkan diri untuk magang dan sertifikasi di industri perhotelan. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, sebuah program pelatihan komprehensif diusulkan bekerja sama dengan pihak universitas guna membekali siswa dengan keterampilan praktis dalam pengendalian biaya hotel.Program pelatihan ini menerapkan prinsip pelatihan keterampilan profesional dan pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman, dengan menekankan pendekatan teori dan praktik. Kurikulum mencakup modul yang sesuai dengan standar sertifikasi, mengintegrasikan simulasi, studi kasus, dan aplikasi nyata. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan siswa, perancangan materi pembelajaran interaktif, penyampaian teori dasar yang didukung oleh media visual, dan pelaksanaan simulasi praktik pengendalian biaya dalam skenario hotel. Tahap evaluasi akan dilakukan setelahnya, di mana siswa dapat berdiskusi dan mengklarifikasi konsep. Umpan balik dari siswa akan membantu dalam penyempurnaan metode pelatihan di masa depan. Program pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi siswa dalam manajemen biaya hotel, sehingga mereka lebih siap untuk menghadapi ujian sertifikasi dan sukses dalam karier di industri perhotelan.Â
