Abstract

children are the successors of the family and the nation. In Kedung Jumputrejo Village, Sukodono Subdistrict, the development is very dense which requires the community to compete to continue living. This community service focuses on introducing the concept of trading to foster an entrepreneurial spirit. The main objective of this community service is to introduce the concept of trading to children or santri at TPQ Alif Lam Mim, Kedung Jumputrejo Village, Sukodono District with the aim of fostering an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age. The strategy method in this community service is Asset Based Community Development (ABCD). The results of the service showed that there were children's characters who began to dare to express opinions in negotiations based on what they wanted to get and began to grow their interest in entrepreneurship which was reflected in their enthusiasm.

Abstract

Effective financial management is a critical factor in fostering a company's growth and long-term sustainability. By managing finances properly, a company can boost profitability, ensure operational stability, and create lasting value for its stakeholders. This article explores a variety of financial management strategies that businesses can implement to increase their profitability. The key areas of focus include managing cash flow, controlling costs, making sound investment decisions, and handling debt efficiently. It is anticipated that by adopting these strategies in a structured and thoughtful manner, companies can maximize their profits and strengthen their competitive position in the market.

Abstract

Manajemen keuangan berperan penting dalam menjaga kestabilan serta mendorong pertumbuhan kinerja perusahaan, khususnya dalam upaya mencapai tingkat profitabilitas yang optimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki bagaimana praktik manajemen keuangan, yang meliputi penganggaran modal, struktur modal, kebijakan dividen, dan pengelolaan modal kerja, berdampak pada profitabilitas suatu perusahaan. Return on Assets (ROA) dan Return on Equity (ROE) adalah dua indikator utama untuk mengukur keberhasilan finansial. Metode kuantitatif yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Data sekunder yang digunakan berasal dari laporan keuangan perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama tahun 2020–2023. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan dividen dan penganggaran modal memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan profitabilitas, dan struktur modal dan pengelolaan modal kerja memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan memberikan pengaruh yang bervariasi sesuai dengan karakteristik sektor industri. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan manajemen keuangan tidak hanya bergantung pada keputusan internal perusahaan, namun juga dipengaruhi oleh kondisi pasar dan strategi yang diterapkan. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan disarankan untuk mengadopsi kebijakan keuangan yang fleksibel dan berbasis analisis mendalam agar dapat mempertahankan profitabilitas secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Not many people know the benefits or uses of the lamtoro tree or what is commonly called petai cina which has the Latin name Leucaena Leucocephala which is a type of shrub. Through an empowerment program carried out in Wedungsari Village, Waru District, Sidoarjo Regency, where there are many petai cina farmers, a community service program was held with an orientation to support the productivity of farmers in the village and provide nutrition through food that has economic value. Through the community service method with stages of socialization, empowerment (training), independent appeals to evaluation, the results obtained were that this program showed the success of increasing farmer productivity by making various foods from petai cina that can be traded and become food that meets family nutrition at an economical price.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology over the past decade has significantly influenced various sectors, particularly in business and finance. One of the most impactful innovations is the emergence of Financial Technology (FinTech), which integrates digital technology with financial services to enhance efficiency, transparency, and accuracy in financial management. In Indonesia, FinTech has experienced substantial growth and is being utilized by companies of all sizes small, medium, and large to support their financial operations. This article explores the role of FinTech in strengthening corporate financial management, focusing on the use of digital payment systems, cloud-based accounting, automated cash flow management, and AI-driven financial analytics. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method, drawing on literature reviews and case studies from selected Indonesian companies that have implemented FinTech solutions. The findings indicate that FinTech adoption facilitates corporate digital transformation, improves operational efficiency, reduces human error, and supports real-time data-based financial decision-making. Nevertheless, challenges such as data security, human resource readiness, and regulatory compliance must still be addressed. These insights aim to inform business stakeholders about the urgency and strategic approaches for integrating FinTech into corporate financial systems.

Abstract

Global economic crises are inevitable occurrences within the cyclical nature of the world economy, and their impacts are particularly significant for the business sector especially in terms of financial management. Economic instability, characterized by high inflation, exchange rate volatility, rising global interest rates, and declining global demand, compels companies to overhaul their financial strategies. This study aims to examine how global economic turmoil influences corporate financial management strategies, with a specific focus on the Indonesian context. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach and literature review from various national sources, the research explores adaptive strategies commonly adopted by companies. These include budget tightening, stricter cash flow control, income portfolio diversification, and the integration of financial technologies (FinTech) to enhance financial processes. The findings indicate that companies with flexible financial management structures and a high capacity for rapid macroeconomic adaptation tend to demonstrate greater resilience during crises. Furthermore, the ability to conduct risk forecasting and contingency planning also plays a critical role in maintaining financial stability. The results of this study are expected to serve as a strategic reference for financial managers in formulating robust medium- and long-term financial policies that are crisis-resistant.

Abstract

This research addresses the application of conflict management in the work environment. Through analysis, it explores effective resolution strategies and their impact on organizational health. Qualitative research methods were used to collect data from various sources, including interviews, observations, and literature reviews. The study findings show that understanding the concept of conflict and applying appropriate resolution techniques are essential to creating a balanced work environment. Effective constructive solutions involve communication skills training, cultural development, and encouraging active participation to resolve conflicts. The identification of these solutions can have a positive impact on productivity and organizational well-being. Evaluating and measuring the success of conflict management implementation is a key factor to ensure a positive impact. Team performance assessment methods, team member satisfaction surveys, and evaluations were used to gain an understanding of achievements and potential improvements. This research contributes to the understanding of effective conflict management practices in the work environment.

Abstract

This community service activity aims as a step to improve health and community in Sambungrejo Sukodono Village regarding the benefits of therapeutic gymnastics in improving body fitness. The community is invited to choose the appropriate exercise model in order to improve health and fitness. The location of this activity was at Sambungrejo Sukodono Field, and involved members of the therapeutic gymnastics community and students from group 11 KKN Sunan Giri University Surabaya. The ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development) method was used in this study. From the results of fitness training through therapeutic gymnastics attended by the community and students, the training material was very interesting for the participants. This created high enthusiasm among participants which in turn could increase the effectiveness of the therapeutic gymnastics activities.

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 telah mengakibatkan dampak signifikan pada ketahanan pangan dan ekonomi masyarakat, terutama di daerah pedesaan. Di Desa Terungwetan Krian, banyak keluarga menghadapi kesulitan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pangan sehat akibat terbatasnya akses ke pasar. Solusi yang diusulkan adalah penerapan budidaya hidroponik, yang memungkinkan masyarakat menanam sayuran di lahan terbatas, berupa pekarangan rumah. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini menerapkan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR), yang melibatkan masyarakat dalam proses identifikasi masalah, pelatihan, dan evaluasi hasil. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa setelah pelatihan, peserta dapat merawat sistem hidroponik dan menghasilkan sayuran seperti selada dan kangkung, yang  memenuhi kebutuhan pangan keluarga, dan memberikan peluang ekonomi baru melalui penjualan hasil panen. Meskipun terdapat tantangan dalam pengelolaan nutrisi tanaman, program ini berhasil meningkatkan kesejahteraan keluarga serta kemandirian pangan. Disarankan untuk melanjutkan pendampingan dan membentuk kelompok tani hidroponik guna memperkuat keberlanjutan budidaya ini. Dengan langkah-langkah tersebut, diharapkan budidaya hidroponik dapat terus berkembang dan memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap ketahanan pangan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat di masa depan.

Abstract

 Melaksanakan investigasi berdasarkan pengaruh yang diberikan olehkompetensi pegawai kecamatan dan penerapan teknologi informasi terhadapkepuasan publik menjadi tujuan dari adanya studi ini. Studi ini dilakukan denganmenggunakan metode asosiatif dan melibatkan dua variabel bebas yaitu kompetensipegawai kecamatan dan penerapan teknologi informasi, serta satu variabel terikatyaitu kepuasan publik. Penduduk yang menjadi responden ada 50 dan mereka berasal dari salah satu kecamatan yang ada di Surabaya. Teknik sampel secara accidental dimanfaatkan untuk memperoleh sampelnya dan ini dilakukan dengan mengunjungi kecamatan tersebut dalam waktu tiga hari yang berbeda. Responden akan menilai kinerja kecamatan berdasarkan kompetensi pegawai dan penerapan teknologi informasi, yang tercermin dalam bentuk kepuasan publik. Regresi linier berganda digunakan menjadi metode untuk menganalisis data yang telah terkumpul. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi sejauh mana kompetensi pegawai kecamatan dan penerapan teknologi informasi berkontribusi terhadap kepuasan publik di kecamatan yang bersangkutan. Diharapkan melalui hasil penelitiannya, maka sejumlah faktor yang memang berdampak terhadap kepuasan publik khususnya di kecamatan dapat dipahami lebih ekstensif. Hasil penelitian ini untuk pemerintah daerah juga sangat bermanfaat karena dapat dijadikan sebagai masukan terkait peningkatan kualitas pelayanan publik berdasarkan kompetensi pegawai danpenerapan teknologi informasi yang juga senantiasa lebih ditingkatkan olehkecamatan tersebut.
