Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate an Arduino-based digital pH meter and thermometer prototype equipped with automatic temperature compensation (ATC) and a 3D-printed casing for practical household and micro-industrial applications. The device was tested on fifteen consumer products from four categories—food, beverages, hygiene, and cosmetics—at three temperature levels (30°C, 35°C, and 40°C). Measured parameters included pH, millivolt (mV) outputs, stabilization time, and reading stability. The results showed that pH values decreased with increasing temperature, consistent with H⁺ ion dissociation principles. For example, vinegar (pH 2.80–2.68) and soda (pH 3.45–3.36) showed the most significant decreases, while basic products such as detergent (pH 10.20–10.08) and liquid soap (pH 9.10–9.00) exhibited stable negative mV readings. The average stabilization time ranged from 6 to 12 seconds, with all samples showing stable readings (±0.01 pH variation). Calibration results indicated that three-point calibration (pH 4, 7, 10) produced the highest accuracy (±0.04 pH; R² = 0.993). The 3D-printed PLA casing provided durable protection, ergonomic handling, and fast reprintability. Overall, the prototype demonstrated reliable, accurate, and stable performance, proving that low-cost hardware and software integration can yield an efficient and accessible pH and temperature measuring tool.

Abstract

Abstract: The crime of hacking is a crime committed by entering another person's electronic system that is private, in any way so that it is a prohibited act. Hacking is categorized as one of the crimes in cyberspace because hackers are people who master programming who can hack or hack security systems on computers or networks for certain purposes. The problems in this study are how to regulate hacking in Indonesia, what are the obstacles and efforts in overcoming hacking that is intentional and without rights or against the law in Indonesia, how is the criminal responsibility of hacking perpetrators based on the decision of the Pelaihari District Court Number 9 / Pid.Sus / 2021 / PN.Pli and the decision of the Cikarang District Court Number 515 / Pid.Sus / 2021 / PN.Ckr. The research method used is the normative legal research method by analyzing court decisions. The types of research data are primary data and secondary data and are arranged systematically and analyzed qualitatively and draw conclusions deductively. Based on the research results, it can be seen that the legal regulation of hacking acts in Indonesia is regulated in Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions. The obstacle in overcoming hacking that is intentional and without rights or against the law in cyber crime is in the aspect of digital evidence that is easily removed if not handled in a timely manner. Keywords: Criminal Liability, Hacking, Cyber Crime.

Abstract

Abstract: The development of information technology has given rise to electronic evidence, which now plays a crucial role in proving criminal cases, particularly corruption. However, the differences in the nature of electronic evidence compared to written evidence pose challenges for judges in assessing its validity and strength. Electronic evidence is regulated in Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions. This study uses an empirical juridical method with data collection through literature studies and interviews with judges at the Medan District Court. The results show that although the Criminal Procedure Code has not explicitly regulated electronic evidence, the existence of the ITE Law, the Corruption Law, and the Constitutional Court Decision No. 20/PUU-XIV/2016 confirms the position of electronic evidence as valid evidence. Electronic evidence has strong evidentiary power, but must undergo strict authentication procedures and be supported by digital forensic expertise. The main obstacles faced are limited infrastructure, differences in legal interpretation, and the vulnerability of evidence to manipulation. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the capacity of law enforcement and harmonize regulations so that electronic evidence can provide legal certainty and justice. Keywords: validity, proof, electronics, corruption.
