Abstract

Makanan merupakan kebutuhan hidup yang paling utama dan berpotensi terkontaminasi bakteri patogen. Jasaboga merupakan usaha pengelolaan makanan . Faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas makanan adalah perilaku penjamah makanan dalam penerapan personal hygiene dan sanitasi makanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan Karakteristik penjamah makanan dengan penerapan personal hygiene pada CV.Citra Satria Catering Tanjung Enim. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian cross sectional. Sampel diambil adalah total populasi yaitu seluruh penjamah makanan yang ada di CV.Citra Satria Catering Tanjung Enim periode Februari – Agustus 2023 yang berjumlah 50 responden. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah uji chi square. Berdasarkan analisis univariat diperoleh hasil 30 responden (60%) penerapan personal hygiene nya kurang baik, terdapat 32 responden (64%) berjenis kelamin perempuan, 36 responden (72%) berpendidikan tinggi, 33 responden (66%) memiliki pengetahuan yang kurang baik, 32 responden (64%) terpapar informasi tentang penerapan personal hygiene. Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara jenis kelamin dengan penerapan personal hygiene dengan p value 0,026, ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pendidikan dengan penerapan personal hygiene dengan p value 0,045, ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dengan penerapan personal hygiene dengan p value 0,024, ada hubungan yang signifikan antara paparan informasi dengan penerapan personal hygiene dengan p value 0,026. Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara jenis kelamin, pendidikan, pengetahuan dan paparan informasi penjamah makanan dengan penerapan personal hygiene

Abstract

Dental health rates, especially cavities in children, are high, this is because awareness is still low in maintaining dental health. Low awareness is influenced by low knowledge in maintaining dental health which can have an impact on behavior, especially primary school-age children. Good knowledge is an important foundation in shaping healthy behavior. Health promotion efforts are an effective strategy in increasing children's knowledge. The purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of audio-visual media for cavities in increasing children's knowledge at State Elementary School 43 OKU. Quantitative method using pre-experimental One Group pre-test and post-test design was used in this study. Wilcoxon test was used to analyze the data. This study involved 146 respondents, who were selected using purposive sampling method. The study used a questionnaire to collect data on knowledge. The results showed that there was an increase in value after the intervention was given greater than the previous value, obtained P-value = 0.000 from the statistical test results, meaning that there was an effect of health education using audio visual media for cavities in increasing children's knowledge.

Abstract

Fly density in chicken slaughterhouses is a critical issue as it affects environmental quality and public health. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing fly density levels, including temperature, humidity, lighting, and sanitation. A quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design was conducted at chicken slaughterhouses. Data were collected through observations and interviews using questionnaires and analyzed using chi-square tests to determine the relationships between variables. The results showed significant relationships between fly density and temperature, humidity, lighting, and sanitation, with p-values of 0.013, 0.000, 0.023, and 0.000, respectively. While most locations met the requirements for temperature, humidity, and sanitation, lighting conditions were still suboptimal. The study concludes that good environmental management, especially in lighting, ventilation, and waste management, is necessary to reduce fly populations. It is recommended that slaughterhouse managers improve ventilation, natural lighting, and waste management, while involving related stakeholders in sanitation education and environmental monitoring.
