Abstract

In general, the condition of drainage systems in various cities across Indonesia is facing a wide range of problems. An effective drainage system plays a crucial role in preventing floods and waterlogging, especially in densely populated urban areas such as Depok City. With the rapid pace of urbanization, the drainage infrastructure in Depok is confronted with multiple challenges, both technical and environmental in nature. This article examines the current state of the drainage system in Depok by utilizing reliable data and documenting real-life occurrences observed in the field. Through an in-depth analysis of rainfall data, the physical condition of drainage channels, and several flooding incidents that have occurred in recent years, this paper aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the situation. It also seeks to offer practical and strategic recommendations to improve drainage management in the area, thereby supporting better urban planning, disaster mitigation, and sustainable infrastructure development in the long term.

Abstract

Contract administration is a crucial aspect of successful construction project implementation, particularly for government projects with high levels of complexity, accountability, and risk. This study aims to analyze the implementation of standard contract administration procedures in the Presisi 5 POLRI Project, identify its level of compliance with applicable regulations, and examine obstacles and improvement efforts. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques included reviewing contract documents, field observations, and interviews with relevant parties. The results indicate that, in general, contract administration procedures have been implemented according to standards, but several obstacles remain in aspects such as documenting work changes, time management, and coordination between parties. This research is expected to provide practical contributions as evaluation material and recommendations for improving the quality of contract administration in government construction projects..

Abstract

The construction industry in Indonesia still faces various classic problems such as time delays, cost overruns, low labor productivity, and high levels of waste in project implementation. One construction management approach developed to address these issues is Lean Construction. This concept focuses on eliminating waste, increasing value for project owners, and continuously optimizing workflows. This study aims to examine the implementation of Lean Construction in improving construction project efficiency. The research method used was a literature review and conceptual analysis of Lean Construction principles, methods, and tools commonly applied to construction projects. The study results indicate that the application of Lean Construction through waste identification, the Last Planner System, continuous improvement, and collaboration between project parties can improve time efficiency, cost efficiency, and work quality. Therefore, Lean Construction can be used as a strategic approach in construction project management, oriented towards improving overall project performance.
