Abstract

Parenting patterns are the way parents educate, guide, discipline, and protect their children in an effort to achieve maturity in accordance with the norms that apply in society. This study aims to determine the extent of the influence of parenting patterns on cyberbullying behavior. The method used in this study is quantitative with the type of research, namely correlational. The study was conducted at SMA Negeri 11 Tebo in grades X, XI, and XII. The population of this study was 391 in the 2024/2025 academic year. The simple random sampling technique. The instrument in this study was a Likert scale questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out using an IBM Statistical 29 computer and Microsoft Excel. Based on the results of data processing, the calculated r value is 0.419 while the r table value is 0.138 because the calculated r is greater than the r table (0.418>0.138) it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between parenting patterns and cyberbullying behavior at SMAN 11 Tebo

Abstract

Self-control is the ability an individual has to control himself, both in behavior, thinking, emotions and in making decisions. This research aims to determine the magnitude of the relationship between self-control and students' aggressive behavior. The method used in this research is quantitative with the type of research being correlational. The research was conducted at SMK Negeri 3 Padang class XI. The population of this study was 464 people with a sample of 215 for the 2024/2025 academic year. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique. The instrument in this research is a Likert scale questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out using statistical programs on the IBM Statistics 29 computer and Microsoft Excel. Based on the results of data processing, the rcount value was obtained, namely 0.407, while the rtable value was 0.138, because the rcount value was greater than the rtable value (0.407>0.138), it was concluded that there was a positive and significant relationship between self-control and students' aggressive behavior.

Abstract

This research, titled "Descriptive Analysis of Factors Affecting Low Interest in Continuing Higher Education at SMKN 9 Padang," aims to identify and analyze the factors influencing the low interest of Grade XII students at SMKN 9 Padang in continuing their education to higher institutions during the 2024/2025 academic year. This study adopts a descriptive quantitative approach, using random sampling techniques to collect data from 204 respondents. The data were gathered through questionnaires, which were validated, resulting in a total of 38 items to measure interest in continuing education and 19 items to measure the factors influencing low interest. Descriptive statistical analysis reveals that the factors affecting low interest have a mean value of 58 with a standard deviation of 7, while the interest in continuing education to higher institutions has a mean value of 56 with a standard deviation of 10. The normality test with a significance value of 0.493 > 0.05 indicates that the data are normally distributed. The linearity test also indicates a linear relationship between the independent and dependent variables with a significance value of 0.936 > 0.05. Hypothesis testing using Pearson Product-Moment Correlation reveals a significant correlation between the factors influencing low interest and the interest in continuing education to higher institutions, with a correlation coefficient of 0.628 and a significance level of < 0.001. The study concludes that factors such as economic conditions, social support, academic readiness, and perceptions of higher education significantly impact the low interest of SMKN 9 Padang students in pursuing further education. These findings are crucial for school authorities and policymakers to design interventions that can enhance students' interest in continuing their education at higher institutions.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of fatherlessness on adolescent social development. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive correlational. The research was conducted at SMKN 3 Padang class XI. The population in this study was 464 people with a sample of 46 respondents. The sampling technique is non-random. The instrument in this research is a Likert scale questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out using statistical programs on the computer IBM Statistics 20.0 and Microsoft Excel 2010. Based on the results of data processing, the rcount value was obtained, namely -0.509, while the rtable value was 0.290 because the rcount value was smaller than the rtable value (-0.509 <0.290), it was concluded that The impact of fatherlessness does not affect teenagers' social development.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between time management and procrastination in class XII students at SMA Negeri 6 Padang in the 2024/2025 academic year. The type of research used in this research is quantitative. The population in this study was 356 class XII students registered in the 2024/2025 academic year, with a sample of 188 students, using proportional random sampling. The instrument used in collecting data for this research was a questionnaire prepared according to the Likert scale model. Data analysis was carried out using statistical programs on SPSS 29 and Microsoft Excel computers. Based on data analysis, the hypothetical results obtained were that the rcount value was 0.589 while rtable was 1.43 because the rcount value was greater than rtable (0.589>1.43), so there was a significant positive relationship between time management and procrastination in class XII students at SMA Negeri 6 Padang. The more students are able to manage their time, the more students' academic procrastination can be reduced.

Abstract

Self-concept is a person's understanding, image or perception of themselves, a person views and assesses their physical condition, such as appearance, health, fitness, views and assesses their role in the social environment, relationships with others, and social acceptance. This study aims to determine the magnitude of the relationship between self-concept and students' conformity behavior. The method used in this study is quantitative with the type of research, namely correlational. The study was conducted in class XII of SMA Semen Padang. The population of this study was 150 people with a sample of 109 in the 2024/2025 academic year. The sampling technique used was the purposive sampling technique. The instrument in this study was a Likert scale questionnaire. Data analysis using statistical programs on IBM Statistical 29 and Microsoft Excel computers. Based on the results of data processing, the r-count value is 0.107, while the value is 0.195 because the r-count value is smaller than the r-table value (0.107 <0.195), it is concluded that there is no significant relationship between self-concept and conformity behavior.
