Abstract

This community service study describes the optimization of a public information service chatbot in Gebang Putih Urban Village, Surabaya. The previous Telegram-based chatbot relied on command-based interaction, requiring citizens to type specific keywords and read long messages, which likely increased interaction cost. The study aims to transform the chatbot into button-based interaction and redesign its information architecture so that services are organized hierarchically and presented in shorter steps. A descriptive qualitative research and development (R&D) approach is applied at the development and internal validation stage. Service content is aligned with the official SSWALFA portal and the Surabaya Dukcapil website, and implemented using the low-code platform ManyChat. The resulting chatbot features more structured interaction flows, with clearer service categories, requirements, and procedures. These design improvements are expected to reduce interaction cost and enhance the potential usability of the chatbot.

Abstract

The advancement of technology is progressing rapidly and will continue in line with the development of science. This progress is inevitable in all aspects of life, including in the corporate environment. CV Agro Utama Mandiri Lestari is a company engaged in agriculture as well as a training and self-sufficient rural development center. A company can grow quickly if its financial management data is accurate and precise. Financial management involves organizing the resources owned by the company to achieve its goals and objectives. In financial management, there are cash inflows and outflows, which are activities that always exist in every business entity. In this company, melon cultivation is still managed using a manual and simple financial system, making administrative activities prone to document loss, inaccuracy, and difficulties in analyzing fertilizer expenses. Therefore, a financial management system is highly necessary for CV Agro Utama Mandiri Lestari. This system features data management for income, expenses, human resources, harvests, capital, and profit and loss per harvest. Additionally, it can generate financial reports based on predefined filters. The system also provides a data visualization dashboard displaying financial information for CV Agro Utama Mandiri Lestari.

Abstract

The weather has a significant impact on human activities. Weather data are used in various industries. Recently, Augmented Reality (AR) technology has been widely used to enhance content representation through multidimensional visualization. Television stations utilize AR to capture viewers' attention in the programs they broadcast; AR has the potential to enhance communication between viewers and the content. Our research on developing an AR application for an engaging immersive reality implementation aims to simulate a virtual stage in TV broadcasts, displaying real-time weather data from the Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) using the latest SQL database. The implementation of the AR system as a multimedia mode in delivering weather information increases the attractiveness and engagement of viewers. This system operates by translating weather data from SQL into key parameters for pre-built 3D visualizations, which appear at marked coordinates. This application runs on the Windows platform and can be managed via Android, allowing presenters to convey engaging scenarios. Research on East Java BMKG data showed that the design function to transform BMKG data into a virtual weather animation data was significantly successful in both synchronizations.
