Abstract

Among various types of plastic waste, used gallon containers are among the most commonly found in household environments. The implementation method used in this activity is a training method, designed to enhance the skills of the mothers who are members of the Bank Sampah Semangka 8 Ds. Tambakasri, Kec. Tajinan, Kabupaten Malang, in processing used gallons into decorative products with market value. Through material introduction, demonstrations, independent practice, and discussions, participants not only learn technical skills but also gain valuable insights into the importance of recycling. The success of this training program can be measured by several outcomes, both in the form of products created and behavioral changes among participants. After attending the training, each participant is able to create at least three types of products from used gallons. This effort is expected to create a broader impact in raising collective awareness about the importance of sustainable waste management.

Abstract

The development of local potential–based economies in rural areas continues to face various challenges, particularly in business management and the utilization of digital marketing by MSME actors. This condition is also experienced by the community of Bukit Hijau Village, Bulawa District, which possesses potential marine-based processed products that have not yet been optimally managed. This community service program aims to strengthen the capacity of local entrepreneurs in business management and digital marketing to enhance product competitiveness and expand market reach. The implementation method included partner needs identification through observation and interviews, business management training covering simple financial recording, production planning, and resource management, as well as digital marketing training through the use of social media and online marketplaces. These activities were supported by continuous monitoring and mentoring to ensure practical application of the materials. The results indicate an improvement in participants’ ability to manage business administration, enhancement in promotional content quality, and an increase in market reach and digital-based sales transactions. This community service program has a positive impact on strengthening business management practices and fostering sustainable economic empowerment for the Bukit Hijau Village community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada perencanaan kapasitas produksi di PT. Seger Agro Nusantara, yang menghadapi tantangan dalam memenuhi permintaan pasar akibat overmesin dan kerusakan mesin. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan efisiensi produksi melalui metode Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) dengan pendekatan Bill Of Labor (BOLA). Metode yang digunakan meliputi peramalan dengan moving average, exponential smoothing, dan trend analysis untuk menentukan jadwal induk produksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode trend analysis memberikan hasil peramalan paling akurat dengan kesalahan terendah. Namun, analisis RCCP menunjukkan bahwa semua stasiun kerja tidak layak beroperasi sesuai kapasitas yang dibutuhkan, mengindikasikan adanya kekurangan signifikan dalam kapasitas produksi. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya perencanaan kapasitas yang tepat untuk memastikan kelancaran operasional dan pemenuhan permintaan pasar.
