Abstract

Guru pembimbing kurang memonitoring siswa yang pelaksanaan prakerin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tujuan suatu program pada pelaksanaan praktik kerja industri jurusan teknik otomotif di sekolah menengah kejuruan. Jenis penelitian yaitu evaluasi dengan model goal oriented. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kombinasi (mixed method). Data kuantitatif dikumpulkan melalui angket dengan responden 35 orang yang terdiri dari 15 orang guru pembimbing dan 20 orang instruktur DU/DI, sedangkan data kualitatif dikumpulkan melalui wawancara.  Hasil penelitian  menyimpulkan  bahwa  komponen  pelaksanaan prakerin ditinjau dari subkomponen tujuan program kategori baik. Subkomponen perilaku secara keseluruhan diperoleh penilaian dengan kategori baik. Subkomponen pencapaian tujuan secara keseluruhan diperoleh penilaian dengan kategori sangat baik. Subkomponen kinerja siswa secara keseluruhan diperoleh penilaian dengan kategori sangat baik. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan praktik kerja industri jurusan teknik otomotif di sekolah menengah kejuruan sudah berada pada kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

Desa bongo adalah Desa yang dikenal sebagai Desa nelayan penghasil ikan tuna yang terletak di Kecamatan Batudaa Pantai Kabupaten Gorontalo Provinsi Gorontalo. Desa ini berada di pesisir pantai teluk Tomini dan merupakan salah satu Desa binaan jurusan Teknik industri UNG.Kondisi dan potensi wilayah dari segi fisik Desa Bongo pada umumnya berada di pesisir pantai dengan perbukitan yang agak extream (terjal) memberikan tantangan tersendiri bagi pengguna jalan. walaupun demikian, potensi wilayah ini cukup besar dari segi sumber daya alam pada perikanan berupa ikan tuna, ikan oci, ikan lajang dan ikan cakalang.Berdasarkan survei yang dilakukan, umumnya masyarakat Desa Bongo memiliki pekerjaan sebagai nelayan tradisional. Hal ini menjadi potensi sosial yang dapat memberikan ketersediaan bahan baku ikan tuna, untuk diolah menjadi keripik kulit ikan tuna. Kondisi ekonomi masyarakat di lingkungan tersebut tergantung pada hasil tangkapan ikan dan rata-rata pendapatannya masih tergolong rendah. Jika tangkapan ikannya banyak, harga jualnya menjadi murah sehingga dapat mempengaruhi pendapatan nelayan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya pengolahan untuk memberikan nilai tambah secara ekonomi dan memperpanjang masa simpan. Namun masyarakat mengalami keterbatasan dalam hal pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam mengolah ikan tuna. Dengan adanya pelatihan pembuatan kripik kulit ikan tuna maka terciptanya kelompok usaha masyarakat Desa Bongo yang mandiri, kolaboratif, dan aktif dalam memanfaatkan potensi dan hasil olahan bahari. Serta kelompok usaha masyarakat yang dapat menciptakan suatu produk dari hasil pengolahan ikan menjadi keripik dari kulit ikan tuna dan mampu menjaring kemitraan dari berbagai pihak dengan menggunakan alat pengolah kripik buatan anggota tim PHP2D Himpunan Mahasiswa Teknik Industri UNG.

Abstract

The purpose of implementing this community service is to strengthen community empowerment based on sociopreneurship through local potential to become superior innovation products towards SDGs. The location of the service was carried out in Salinggoha Village which is located in Walea Besar District, Tojo Una-una Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. The method used is based on sociopreneurship, which is a business whose concept originates from social issues in the community through: (1) increasing awareness/attitude, insight/knowledge and community skills, (2) creating superior products and village innovation products that can help the community's economy, and (3) empowerment regarding the importance of forming MSME groups in advancing the village economy. The results of this community service activity are 1) Main Product of Coconut Oil Village, Salinggoha Village Originality, 2) Featured Product of Shredded Fish Typical of Salinggoha, and 3) Product Innovation of Crispy Banana  Blossom Chips. It is our hope that in the future the knowledge that we provide to the community can be well received and applied by the community so that later it can bring Salinggoha Village to a better direction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of online learning on the employability skills of students of the Faculty of Engineering, State University of Gorontalo. The method used in this study is a quantitative correlational method. Correlation research is research that aims to determine whether there is a relationship between two or more variables. In this study, data processing was carried out using SPSS version 25.0. The sample of this research was 177 students from class of 2017, Faculty of Engineering, State University of Gorontalo. Research data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Analysis prerequisite tests include normality tests, linearity tests, and multicollinearity tests. Hypothesis testing includes simple regression analysis. The results of the study show: There is a significant effect of online learning on the employability skills of students of the Faculty of Engineering, State University of Gorontalo by 2.8%.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The study aims to develop a module of motor mechanics four-step motorcycle based problem based learning on the mechanical engineering education program of the gorontalo state college of engineering. Research in the development of the module lab uses RD (research and development) development methods. The research method referred to the 4-d model (four-d models). Based on research and analysis of already conducted validation data analysis it can be concluded that the validation of the module's practical-based problem learning on its engine engine trainer tool 4 steps from the engine engine aspect of media worthiness are defined as worthy by the validator atan 80% percentage, and of the appropriatical value of these service modules is gained a feasibility percentage of 91.50%.Keywords: development, module practical, the problem of based learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul praktikum berbasis Problem Based learning pada mata kuliah motor bensin di program studi S1 Pendidikan Teknik Mesin Universitas negeri Gorontalo. Pengembangan modul praktikum ini bisa memudahkan mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran mengenai memahami mekanisme katup, sistem injeksi bahan bakar, sistem pelumasan dan sistem pendingin motor bensin. Penelitian ini termasuk pada penelitian dan pengembangan dengan mengacu pada pendapat Thiagarajan. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah ahli materi, yakni anggota tim pengajar mata kuliah motor bensin, ahli media dari pembelajaran, serta mahasiswa sebagai calon pengguna produk. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah angket. Angket digunakan untuk menilai validitas dan respon mahasiswa terhadap produk yang dikembangkan. Data dianalisis menggunakan tabel kategori yang dikemukakan oleh Suharsimi Arikunto. penelitian menunjukkan validitas materi produk berada pada kategori “Layak”, sedangkan validitas modul berada pada kategori “Sangat Layak”, dan respon mahasiswa menujukkan produk “Sangat Layak”.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the need for motorcycle ignition system learning media in motorcycle engineering courses, especially motorcycle ignition system material. This study develops learning media as learning aids according to the learning styles of Mechanical Engineering Education students who are more inclined to kinesthetic learning styles. The purpose of this study was to develop and test the feasibility of motorcycle ignition system learning media in motorcycle engineering courses. To develop and test the feasibility of the media, the method used in this research is Research Development, with a 4D model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The development procedure begins with (1) describing the initial state, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) design validation, (5) design revision, (6) product manufacturing (7) product validation, (8) revision product, (9) final product, (10) dissemination. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews, and questionnaires. This study produced motorcycle Ignition System learning media and the results of measuring the feasibility of the media with an average percentage value of design experts 89.15, material experts 90.76%, media experts 93.84, and user response 90.00%. The sum of the average scores of all grades is 90.18. The conclusion of the development of motorbike Ignition System learning media can be said to be very feasible to use.

Abstract

Abstrak Keberhasilan suatu proses pembelajaran dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor antara lain pendidik, peserta didik, metode pembelajaran yang digunakan serta sarana dan prasarana pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran merupakan sarana alat bantu yang digunakan dalam proses belajar  mengajar. Terbatasnya media pembelajaran yang ada tentunya dapat mempengaruhi keefektivan proses pembelajaran dan berdampak pada hasil belajar peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan dan menguji kelayakan Media Pembelajaran Trainer Sistem Bahan Bakar Diesel Tipe In-Line pada mata kuliah Teknologi Motor Diesel. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research Development, Prosedur penelitian ini diawali dari (1) mengidentifikasi potensi dan masalah, (2) pengumpulan data, (3) desain produk, (4) validasi desain, (5) revisi desain, (6) pembuatan produk, (7) validasi produk, (8) revisi produk dan produk akhir. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner untuk validasi produk oleh validator ahli materi dan ahli media. Penelitian ini menghasilkan produk media pembelajaran Trainer Sistem Bahan Bakar Diesel Tipe In-Line Pada Mata kuliah Teknologi Motor Diesel yang telah dikembangkan dengan persentase kelayakan oleh ahli materi sebesar 97.33% kategori sangat layak, dan oleh ahli media adalah 94.67% dengan kategori sangat layak. Persentase rata-rata dari kedua validator 96%. Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran, Sistem Bahan Bakar Diesel, Tipe In-line AbstractThe success of a learning process can be influenced by several factors, including educators, students, the learning methods used and learning facilities and infrastructure. Learning media is a tool used in the teaching and learning process. The limited existing learning media can certainly affect the effectiveness of the learning process and have an impact on student learning outcomes. The aim of this research is to develop and test the feasibility of In-Line Type Diesel Fuel System Trainer Learning Media in the Diesel Motor Technology course. The research method used is Research Development. This research procedure begins with (1) identifying potential and problems, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) design validation, (5) design revision, (6) manufacturing product, (7) product validation, (8) product revision and final product. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation, interviews and questionnaires for product validation by material expert validators and media experts. This research produced a learning media product, In-Line Type Diesel Fuel System Trainer in the Diesel Motor Technology Course, which has been developed with a feasibility percentage by material experts of 97.33% in the very feasible category, and by media experts it is 94.67% in the very feasible category. Abstract

This study aims to develop a practical module based on Problem Based Learning on a motorcycle Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) teaching aid and to determine the feasibility of the developed motorcycle Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) teaching aid module. The method used in this study is the RD (Research and Development) method and uses the 4D model (four-D model) consisting of the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. The results of the study indicate that a practical module has been produced on a motorcycle Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) teaching aid for the motorcycle technology course at the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Gorontalo State University. The level of feasibility of the problem based learning practical module on the motorcycle Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) teaching aid at the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Gorontalo State University, is determined through validation of the practical module design, expert validation by material experts and media experts and student response tests with results meeting the criteria of "Very Good" and is suitable for use as teaching materials that support student learning.
