Abstract

This research investigates the influence of parenting styles on the formation of children's character in the era of the Strawberry Generation. The Strawberry Generation refers to a group of young people considered more susceptible to emotional stress and lacking resilience in facing life challenges. In this context, the role of parenting styles becomes a determining factor in shaping children’s character. The study was conducted through literature reviews. The analysis that shaped the results of this research is expected to provide a profound understanding of the relationship between parenting styles and children’s character in the context of the Strawberry Generation era. The findings of this research can guide parents, educators, and practitioners in developing more effective parenting strategies to assist in the formation of children's character. Moreover, this research contributes to our understanding of the factors shaping the specific characteristics of the younger generation in this turbulent era

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the impact of implementing the independent curriculum on student learning achievement in elementary schools. The research sample consisted of 15 teachers and 70 students. The research method used involves descriptive statistical analysis, pretest and posttest comparative statistical tests, and regression analysis. The research results show a significant increase in student learning achievement after implementing the independent curriculum. The t-test revealed a significant difference between the pretest and posttest groups (p<0.05), confirming the positive impact of the new curriculum. The evaluation of the implementation of the independent curriculum revealed that all teachers had a good understanding even though they had obstacles in administration which was the main challenge. Student responses show higher motivation, although some face difficulties in learning tasks. Recommendations for future research include the development of more intensive teacher training strategies and increased administrative support. These findings have important implications for Education policy development and provide a basis for further improvements in the Education curriculum at Primary level

Abstract

In the learning process at school there are several obstacles, including some students showing symptoms of not being able to achieve the expected learning outcomes. The problem of learning disorders is often found, one of which is difficulty reading and writing. In fact, one of the learning successes of students in participating in learning activities is determined by their ability to read and write, for this reason teachers must have an understanding and handling of students' dyslexia. The aim of this research is to increase understanding of the characteristics and symptoms of dyslexia in students at MIN 1 Pontianak. The techniques used are interviews, observation and data documentation. The treatments used are general treatment and specific treatment.
