AbstractThis study aims to describe and analyze the image of women found in the novel, Dia Adalah Kakakku by Tere Liye. The method in this study is descriptive, qualitative forms and structural approaches. In this study, the data was obtained through physical and psychological images of a female character in the form of words, phrases, clauses, and sentences from novel. The source of data was the novel Dia Adalah Kakakku by Tere Liye. The technique used is documentary study technique. The data collection tool is the researcher herself as the main instrument. The results of this study are: 1) the physical image of women, included the body, the voice, the eyes, the hair, and the makeup; 2) the psychic image of women, a woman figure who was religious, patient, affectionate, wise, kind, anxiety, excited, weak, touchy, independent, hopeful; and 3) the implementation of the image of women in the novel for learning Indonesian language in terms of aspects of the 2013 curriculum, the objectives of literacy learning, the choice of teaching materials, and aspects of readability were considered valuable for learning materials of class XII students of Senior High. AbstrackThis study aims to describe the analysis of characters and characterizations in the novel Trauma by Boy Candra with a behavioristic psychology which means that changes in behavior as a result of the interaction between stimulus and response. This research uses descriptive method, qualitative research form, and behavioristic psychology approach. The data source in this research is the novel Trauma by Boy Candra. The data in the study are in the form of quotations, words, phrases, and sentences. The data collection technique in this research is a documentary study. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that. 1) the author describes the main character, namely directly and indirectly. The main characters in the novel Trauma by Boy Candra are Kimara who has a friendly, vindictive, and caring character, 2) the author describes the additional characters in the novel Trauma by Boy Candra, either directly or indirectly. Mother has a caring character, Ardi Sabil has a humble character, Kori Marsandi has a bad- tempered character, Dent Sasindra has a selfish and liar character, Raditio Rahadi has a caring character, Mona has a friendly character, Grandpa has a caring character, and finally the additional character is Putra Marnanda. has a deceitful character. The results of this study can be implemented in learning Indonesian in high school, especially in class XII students in even semesters.Keywords: Behavioristic, Character and Characterization

AbstractThe background of this study is analyzing and decriminalizing Citraan in the anthology of “Puisi-puisi Cinta” by W.S. Rendra. The imagery includes visual imagery, auditory imagery, touch imagery, taste imagery, olfactory imagery, motion imagery, and feeling imagery. The purpose of this study is to be able to describe Citraan in the Anthology of “Puisi-puisi Cinta” by W.S. Rendra. This research uses descriptive methods and qualitative research forms. The approach used in this research is structural. The data in this study is sourced from the Anthology of “Puisi-puisi C inta”by W.S. Rendra. Based on the results of analysis on poetry there are images of vision, auditory imagery, image of touch, imagery of smell, imagery of motion, and image of feelings in it then this study has a link to the learning of Indonesian Language and Literature class X odd semester curriculum 2013 refers to Basic Competence 3.17 and 4.17. The results of this study are expected to be useful for many circles, especially for teachers, learners, and for further researchers.Keywords: Imagery, Implementation, Poem

AbstractThe women are people who can attract the men easier. Their attractiveness always be dicussed by the men. It is not about their beauty and intellectual but it focuses on the sexuality casses. In this research, the reseracher focused on the women sexuality which taken from a novel entittled Nyai Gowok by Budi Sardjono. The research problem including of sexuality abusive by men and women’s of ptriachal. The researcher used descriptive qualitative method in order to analyze the data. The data source is taken from a novel itself in 330 pages. The techniqueof colleecting the data used documentary study technique where the tools of the research are any or some person (human), the researcher itself tland also the result of the research showed that sexual assault had been done by the men such as rape, sexual, exploitation (like porn/ prostitution), sex slavery and the compulsion of abortion. Moreover, the womens opposition patriarchal domination is about the effort by giving the understanding, how to refuse, state the opinion and how to end the marriage strategically. The novel of Nyai Gowok can be used as the learning materials. Of indonesian language and literature in order to analyze the intrinsic and extrinsic substances of indonesian novel or novel translation. AbstractThis research is motivated by the activities of researchers to find various values, one of which is religious value. Problems in research regarding the religious value of human relations with God, humans with fellow humans, humans with themselves, and the implementation of literary learning in schools. The method used in this research is descriptive method and this research is in the form of qualitative. The approach used in this research is the sociology of literature approach. The technique used in this research is documentary study technique. The data source in this study is a novel entitled Daun Pun Berdzikir by Taufiqurrahman Al-Azizy. The data in this study are religious values in the form of words, phrases and sentences contained in the novel Daun also Berdzikir by Taufiqurrahman Al-Azizy. The results showed that the relationship between humans and God included believing in God, praying and praying, believing that death was Gods will, surrender to God, an a match in Gods hands. Human relations with fellow humans including, mutual cooperation, please help, and affection. Human relations with themselves include, emotions, obedient to the commands of parents, patient, humble, brave, honest, diligent, have a strong desire, fell compassion for others, not easily discouraged, and obedient. AbstractThis study describes the behavior of the characters in the novel Keluarga Gerilja using the operant reinforcement theory of B.F.Skinner. This study uses a descriptive method of qualitative form, and uses a literary psychology approach. The data source of this research is the novel Keluarga Gerilja by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. The data in this study are in the form of quotes, phrases, and sentences that lead to the object of analysis. The data collection technique used is a documentary study. The results showed that the data obtained amounted to 50 data. Implementation plan for learning Indonesian in class XII high school level/equivalent in the 2013 curriculum with basic competencies 3.3 Identifying information, which includes orientation, a series of interrelated events, complications and resolutions, in oral or written history stories, and basic competence 4.3 Constructing the values of historical story information in an explanatory text. Indicator 3.3.1 Collecting important information in historical novels, 3.3.2 Determining the text structure of historical novels, 3.3.3 Comparing historical novels with historical texts. 4.3.1 Rewriting values in historical novels, 4.3.2 Presenting historical novel values into an explanatory text. 4.3.3 Presenting, responding to, revising the prepared explanatory text.Keyword: personality, novel, operant reinforcement theory

AbstractThis research focused to analysist conflict internal and external affect to the character ini novel Bumi Ayu by Restiana Purwaningrum. Researcher focused on conflict because the direct or indirect conflict in this novel has an impact or influence on character traits. Researcher used descriptive research method, and qualitative research form, with study of behavioristic literary psychology. Data source in this research is Bumi Ayu novel by Restiana Purwaningrum. The data of this research is quotes in the novel in the form of words, phrases, and sentences. Technique used in this research is study documentary technique. Data colleting tool is the researcher as the key instrument and assisted with note tools. Reseacher was able to analyze 7 individuals who experienced internal conflict, (1) Dara Kirai, (2) Apai Dolan, (3) Inai Ranggai, (4) Byan Borneo, (5) Samuel, (6) Bumi Ayu, (7) Rimba Samudera. External conflict includes physical conflict and social conflict. The physical conflict is (1) Dara Kirai and (2) Bumi Ayu. A social conflict (1) Inai Ranggai and Mr. Salomo; (2) Mr. Oti and Mr. Ori; (3) Byan Borneo and Dara Kirai; (4) Obet and Uncle Liyan; (5) Byan Borneo and Obet.Keywords: Character, Internal and External Conflict, Novel

ABSTRACTThis study aims to describe the issue of gender injustice against women which is often an interesting topic of discussion in a novel. Common problems in this study are the oppression of Muslim women in western policies as well as the brutal oppression of religious culture. The theories used in the research are the theory of feminism, feminist literary criticism, the position of women in Islam, forms of women's struggle in Islam, and the study of literature in high school. The methods used are descriptive, qualitative research forms and use a feminist research approach. Data in the form of the position of Muslim women leaders, the form of struggle of Muslim women leaders, and implementation plans for learning Indonesian in the form of words, phrases, paragraphs, and quotations. The source of this research is the novel Belalah Hak-Hakmu Perempuan dalam Islam by Ayaan Hirsi Ali. The data collection technique used is a documentary study technique. Data analysis technique is a technique adopted from the theory of Miles, B. Mathew that is to analyze the position of Muslim women and the form of struggle of women. The results of data analysis in the form of the position of Muslim women in the family and in society in the form of the struggle of women in fighting for gender equality between men and women.Keywords: Feminism, novel

AbstractThis study aims to describe the cultural values contained in Ledo Malay folklore, Lesabela Village, Ledo District, Bengkayang Regency. The problem in this study is how are cultural values viewed from the relationship between humans and God, the relationship between humans and themselves, the relationship between humans and humans, the relationship between humans and nature, and the planned implementation of learning the analysis of cultural values Ledo Malay Folklore in Indonesian language lessons in high school? The method used in this research is descriptive method and this research is in the form of qualitative. The approach used in this research is the sociology of literature approach. The data source in this study is the text of the Ledo Malay folklore (Origin of Ledo, the Legend of Lubuk Selang, and the Legend of Lubuk Semanter), which was obtained from informants or storytellers who came from the Malay Ledo community in Lesabela Village, Ledo District, Bengkayang Regency. Based on the results of data analysis from research that has been done, it can be concluded that: cultural values that reflect human relations with God, human relations with oneself, human relations with humans, and human relationships with nature. In the Ledo Malay folklore, the legend of Lubuk Selang, the Legend of Lubuk Semanter, and the origin of Ledo found in Ledo Hamlet, Lesabela Village, Ledo District, Bengkayang Regency, this research succeeded in collecting 4 analyzes in 3 Ledo Malay folklore consisting of 13 reflection and 24 dataKeywords: Cultural Values, Folklore Oral, Literature, Malay Indo.
