Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to determine the factors that cause of the difficulties in learning Geography subject to 11th grade students of SMA Islam Bawari Pontianak. The type of this research is using descriptive with the qualitative method. The data sources of this research were the Geography subject teacher of SMA Islam Bawari Pontianak, and 15 of 11th grade students of SMA Islam Bawari Pontianak. Data collection techniques in this research were observations, interviews, and documentations. The data collection tools used were interview guides and documentation tools. The results of this research point out that 1) The internal factors that cause the difficulties in learning are including intelligence, atttention, interest, the self-confidence, and the habits of study. 2) The external factors that cause the difficulties in learning are including facilities and infrastructure factors and the environment around students. 3) The effort to resolve the difficulties in learning that carried out by teacher are including providing tutoring, implementing remedial programs, providing motivation, and giving assignmet which the purpose is to make the students learn more independently.Keywords: Difficulties in Learning, Geography Subject, Students

Abstract

AbstractKelurahan Dalam Bugis is a light slum category (quite livable). Identification of the level of livability of settlements needs to be done in Kelurahan Dalam Bugis. This study aims to determine the distribution of the level of livability of settlements based on aspects of environmental road conditions. The form of research is descriptive research with qualitative methods. Held in the Kelurahan Dalam Bugis. Methods of data collection by observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques are data reduction and data presentation. The results of the study describe the distribution of the livability level of the Dalam Bugis Village settlement based on the aspect of environmental road conditions. The distribution of the level of livability of settlements is livable (light slums) and quite livable (light slums). Habitable settlements 3 spaces, light slums 1 109°20'51.84"T to 109°20'50.85"E and 0°1'34.15"S to 0°1'36.53"S. Light slums 2 109°21'1.96"T to 109°21'30.73"E and 0°1'26.24"S to 0°2'1.70"S. Light slums 3 109°21'52.09"E to 109°21'44.90"E and 0°1'54.34"S to 0°1'59.24"S. The total area is 101.47 ha, covering 53% of the Kelurahan Dalam Bugis area with 1,360 settlements. 3 room livable settlement, moderate slum 1 109°20'51.80"T to 109°21'14.47"E and 0°1'23.90"S to 0°1'54.88"S. Moderate slum 2, 109°21'6.62"E to 109°21'8.86"E and 0°1'25.45"S to 0°1'34.97"S. Moderate slum 3, 109°21'37.53"E to 109°21'27.50"E and 0°1'45.40"S to 0°2'9.97"S. The total area is 47% of the area of Kelurahan Dalam Bugis with 2,733 settlements.Keywords: Feasibility Level, Settlement, Slum

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the spatial distribution of landslide vulnerability and its mitigation in Sungai Pinyuh District Mempawah District. This type of research is qualitative. Data collection methods are observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis, using GIS (Geographic Information System) 10.1 application with weighted tiered quantitative overlay modeling. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The level of landslide susceptibility in Sungai Pinyuh District consists of 3 classes: low (not prone), moderate (prone) and high (very vulnerable). (a) Areas that are not vulnerable are spread throughout the villages in Sungai Pinyuh District. (b) Areas with moderate level of vulnerability (vulnerable) are spread in Galang Village (0.24%), Nusapati Village (1.74%), Peniraman Village (3.22%), Sungai Pinyuh Village (1.18%), and Sungai Purun Kecil Village (0.11%). (c) Areas with a high level of vulnerability (very vulnerable) are only found in Peniraman Village, which has 223 ha or 1.15% of the total area of Sungai Pinyuh District. 2) the location of the observation points shows that there are seven points selected, including six points with a level of vulnerability and one point with a very vulnerable level, then of the seven have different land use characteristicsKeywords : Landslide Areas, Landslide Management

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to find out the process of implementing geography learning onlineduring the Pandemic Covid-19 at SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak. The method of this study isdescriptive in the form of qualitative approach. The sources of data in this study were twogeography teachers at SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak. The data collection technique of this studywas observation, interview, and documentation . The results of the study show the followingfindings: (1) Planning for geography learning during the Pandemic Covid-19 , namely bypreparing a Learning Implementation Plan that has been adjusted to the syllabus. (2) Theprocess of implementing geography learning during the Covid-19 learning activities areimplemented oriented towards student activities carried out using an online system with theGoogle Classroom application (3) he evaluation of learning uses the assessment of attitudes,knowledge and skills (4) The obstacle for teachers in learning geography during the Covid-19 Pandemic was the lack of facilities and infrastructure that support online lessons.Theconclusion of this study is that the implementation of learning carried out at SMA Negeri 6Pontianak during the Covid-19 Pandemic has been carried out online, with teachers stillmaking customized learning tools.Keywords: Planning, implementation, evaluation, and learning barriers
