Abstract

AbstractAcademic supervision is a series of activities to help teachers develop their ability tomanage the learning process, assess and foster teachers in order to improve the qualityof the learning process. This study aims to describe the implementation of academicsupervision in SMA Negeri 1 Ketapang. This research uses a qualitative approach witha type of case study. Sources of data are the principal, the vice principal in thecurriculum field, the vice principal in the field of student affairs, and 1 senior teacher.Methods of data collection by interview, observation, and document study. Dataanalysis used interactive data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation andverification. Test data validity through credibility, transferability, dependability andconfirmability tests. The results showed that: academic supervision planning wascarried out through program preparation, supervision schedules, and socialization onthe importance of academic supervision. Supervision is carried out based on apredetermined schedule, instrument preparation, and supervision is carried outindividually and in groups. Evaluation of academic supervision through assessment oflearning devices, taking notes after supervision. The obstacles that occur include someteachers who are apathetic and feel that in the implementation of this supervision, theyare only looking for their mistakes, the lack of teaching aids and learning media areother obstacles in the implementation of supervision. Efforts to overcome obstaclesinclude the principal providing guidance, collaborating with the MGMP, taking steps tocreate a harmonious relationship, and optimizing existing facilities and infrastructure.Keywords: Academic, Educational Supervision, Supervision

Abstract

AbstractThis research aim to know the influence supervise the academic and motivate the headmaster job to discipline work the elementary schoolteacher in subdistrict of Jawai of South arch of regency Sambas. Approach used by is quantitative approach with the study corelational. Research data of about supervision academic ( Variable X1), motivate the headmaster job( Variable X2), and discipline work the teacher (Variable Y) collected by through/ passing enquette spreading to responder by using technique of proportional random sampling.Result of research indicate that the supervision academic show the result which significan with the discipline work the teacher that is reach 42,5%. Though do not show the dominant result but supervise this academic of vital importance so that teacher can realize the attainer of study target. And so do the things of with the motivation work the headmaster, result of from research got by Beta ( b1) of equal to 0,388 = 38,8%, the result show the existence of influence which significan with the discipline work the teacher. While influence supervise the academic ( X1) and motivate the headmaster job ( X2) by together with discipline work the teacher  ( Visible Y) from R2 ( R Square) equal to 0,723 or 72,3%. This matter indicate that the independent variable relation link percentag (supervise the academic and motivate the headmaster job) with the variable dependent (discipline work the teacher) equal to 72,3%. Keyword : Supervise The Academic, Motivate The Headmaster Job, Discipline Work Teacher

Abstract

AbstractThis research hopes to reveal the influence of the principal's situational leadership and the principal's motivation giving to the performance of elementary school teachers in Sebawi Sub-district, Sambas District. The research method is descriptive and the data collection technique is done by using a questionnaire. The sample of this research is elementary teacher in Sebawi sub-district of Sambas regency that is 57 respondents. The instrument consists of three variables that are principal situational leadership (X1), principal motivation (X2), and teacher performance (Y).Based on the analysis, this research obtained some findings. First, there was a significant influence between the principal's situational leadership on the performance of elementary school teachers, secondly, there was a significant influence between the principal's motivation giving toward the performance of elementary school, and thirdly, there was a significant influence between situational leadership and principal's motivation giving toward teacher performance.On the basis of the results of the study, for a principal to improve the teachers' performance, he needs to apply situational leadership style and should be able to provide motivation to improve the teachers' enthusiasm and performance. Meanwhile, the teachers are advised to always improve their performance for the sake of the improvement of the quality of education.Keywords: Headmaster's principal leadership, principal motivation, teacher performance

Abstract

AbstractUniversities must be able to survive and always develop so that leadership is needed inadopting innovations in this new era. The method of this research is a case studyresearch with qualitative approach. The partisipants of this research are one rector,five lecturers, two administration staffs and one college student of IKIP PGRI inPontianak. The technique of data collection is using observation, interview, documentand triangulation. The data analysis is using data collection, data reduction, datapresentation and verivication. The result of this research show that innovation adoptionis very well. The process of this innovation is applying the knowledge and technologywith a good communication with online and offline platform about one week to fourmonths in campus and two years for regional. The applying of leadership function inadopting innovation in IKIP PGRI Pontianak is effective. Supporting factors are: (1)Leader; (2) Subordinates; (3) Facilities and Infrastructure; (4) Rewards; (5)Accreditation; (6) Pandemic. The inhibiting factors are: (1) Network system; (2)Economic conditions; (3) Awareness for students, lecturers and employees to improvethemselves in adopting innovations; (3) Students' geographical conditions; (6) Limitedfunds.Keywords: The Leadership of Higher Education, Adopting Innovation.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to reveal the effect of job satisfaction and work commitment on the performance of PAUD teacher in Sintang district, both partially and jointly. The reseach method used is a quatitative approach with a type of causal comparative research or correlational study. This research was conducted in 12 PAUD institutions in Sintang District with the criteria of school intitutions in the form of KB and TPA education. While the sample was 54 PAUD teacher. The instruments used are in the form of questionnaires. Data collection procedures and techniques used were questionnaires. While the data analysis technique used inferential parametric statistics with the hypothesis testing technique is correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis with the help of  IBM SPSS Statistic 25 (SPSS 25). The conclusions of this research are as follows: (1) job satisfaction of Sintang District PAUD teacher tends to be low. (2) the work commitment  of Sintang District PAUD Teacher tend to be low. (3) T the performance of PAUD teachers in Sintang District tended to be low. (4) job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on the performance PAUD teacher in Sintang District. (5) work commitment has a positive and significant effect of the performance of PAUD teacher in Sintang District. (6) job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect of the work commitment PAUD teacher in Sintang District, (7) job satisfaction and work commitment of teacher together have a positve and significant effect of the performance of PAUD teacher in Sintang DistrictKey Word : Job Satisfaction, Teacher Performance, Work Commitment
