Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) Want to know and analyze the performance of masters at Public Vocational School 1 Ketapang in carrying out their duties as masters; 2) Want to know and analyze what work maturity can improve master's performance at Public Vocational School 1 Ketapang; 3) Want to know and analyze the efforts made by the master of Public Vocational School 1 Ketapang in improving performance as a master. Measurement in this study using qualitative methods. The results and analysis show that: 1) Based on the results of observations, interviews, and documentation studies conducted by researchers on informants (research subjects), namely the masters of State Vocational High Schools, it shows that the masters have met several assessment indicators for each aspect. 2) Based on the results of the research on the masters of Public Vocational School 1 Ketapang above, it shows that the performance of the masters of Public Vocational School 1 Ketapang in terms of professional competence is in the fairly good category. This is because the master has fulfilled several assessment indicators in mastering the material, structure, concept, and scientific mindset that supports the subject, developing creatively guided subject matter, continuing professional development by taking reflective actions and utilizing information and communication technology to develop themselves. 3) Efforts made by the master of Public Vocational School 1 Ketapang in improving performance as a master, from the learning outcomes, namely by carrying out their duties as well as possible and continuing to improve pedagogic and professional competencies.

Abstract

AbstractThe problem studied was leadership of the head of the undergraduate study program. The research method used by researchers is a qualitative approach. Data was collected through interviews, observations, documentation and analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, conclusions or verification. The research results are build good communication, build good motivation and build a solid team. The results of the discussion are 1) The head of the study program builds good communication by conducting light dialogues, holding joint discussions, listening to suggestions and input from lecturers. 2) The head of the study program builds good motivation, namely giving an assessment of the performance of the lecturers, giving awards for the performance of the lecturers, treating the lecturers well and generating the desire to learn from the lecturers. 3) The head of the study program builds a solid team by making an agreement to obey the rules to work effectively. Share responsibilities that are fair and clear and able to adapt to positive changes. The conclusion is that the head of the study program leadership in the leadership process is to build good communication, build good motivation and build a solid team with the lecturers.Keywords: Leadership, Head Of Study Program

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the efforts to comply with content standards, process standards, and standards for educators and education personnel in the equivalency education program at SPNF SKB Kubu Raya Regency.This methods research uses a qualitative approach with a type of case study. The subjects of this study were the head of SPNF SKB Kubu Raya Regency, deputy head of learning affairs, deputy head of curriculum affairs, deputy head of community service, administration, and tutelary affairs. Data collection methods by interview, observation, and document study. Data analysis used interactive data analysis, namely data reduction, data display and verification. Checking the validity of the data using credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability tests. Conclusion of research results showed the following: (1) program planning begins with identifying the learning needs, (2) steps to fulfill SNP, (3) curriculum evaluation is carried out and according to the national curriculum structure, (4) supporting factors and inhibiting factors. There needs to be a commitment from the local government to allocate operational budgets for SPNF, improve facilities and infrastructure, and follow up on the evaluation of the development of the equality program at SPNF SKB Kubu Raya Regency.Keywords: Equality Education, Nonformal Educatio, SNP

Abstract

AbstractNew student admission with zoning is the process of accepting new students with predetermined qualifications using the residential zone from school to house. This study aims to determine the process of registration and acceptance of PPDB with the zoning system in SMA Negeri 1 Ngabang. This research uses a qualitative approach and type of case study research. The subjects in this study were the principal, the vice principal for student affairs, and the head of the PPDB committee. Data collection procedures, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The findings from the results of this study are: (1) Student recruitment with a zoning system is a PPDB system that is seen based on the distance between the prospective students' residence and the school, not based on the UN score. (2) Selection is a process carried out to recruit students according to the rules to be accepted in school. (3) Placement is a follow-up to the results of the selection process to be accepted into a school and does not have specific criteria for placement. (4) Evaluation is an assessment process so that the PPDB acceptance process in the future can run better. (5) PPDB constraints can cause the PPDB acceptance process to not be carried out properly. The conclusions from the research results are: Acceptance of the PPDB zoning system using zones makes it easier for parents to register their children because of the close distance between school and home. Abstract

AbstractAcademic supervision is a series of activities to help teachers develop their ability tomanage the learning process, assess and foster teachers in order to improve the qualityof the learning process. This study aims to describe the implementation of academicsupervision in SMA Negeri 1 Ketapang. This research uses a qualitative approach witha type of case study. Sources of data are the principal, the vice principal in thecurriculum field, the vice principal in the field of student affairs, and 1 senior teacher.Methods of data collection by interview, observation, and document study. Dataanalysis used interactive data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation andverification. Test data validity through credibility, transferability, dependability andconfirmability tests. The results showed that: academic supervision planning wascarried out through program preparation, supervision schedules, and socialization onthe importance of academic supervision. Supervision is carried out based on apredetermined schedule, instrument preparation, and supervision is carried outindividually and in groups. Evaluation of academic supervision through assessment oflearning devices, taking notes after supervision. The obstacles that occur include someteachers who are apathetic and feel that in the implementation of this supervision, theyare only looking for their mistakes, the lack of teaching aids and learning media areother obstacles in the implementation of supervision. Efforts to overcome obstaclesinclude the principal providing guidance, collaborating with the MGMP, taking steps tocreate a harmonious relationship, and optimizing existing facilities and infrastructure.Keywords: Academic, Educational Supervision, Supervision

Abstract

AbstractThe problem studied was the Principal Strengthening Program by the Supervisor is an activity carried out individually to improve the principal's performance. The research method used by researchers is a qualitative approach. Data was collected through interviews, observations, documentation and analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, conclusions or verification. The results of the study showed that from 16 indicators of school principal's competency management in SMPN 4 Sengah Temila, only 11 indicators were successfully implemented, namely: 1) Change and development, 2) Managing Teachers and staff 3) Managing schools, 4) Managing SARPRAS, 5) Managing Students in PPDB, 6) Manage Administration, 7) Manage special service units, 8) Manage information systems, 9) Manage Finances, 10) Manage school relationships with the community, and 11) Monitor, evaluate and report. 3 Indicators that are not yet  understood, namely: 1) Arranging plans, 2) Leading schools in the utilization of school resources, and 3) Developing school organizations. Whereas 2 Indicators which were not implemented were 1) Creating school culture and climate, 2) Utilizing information technology advancements. The implication was that the 16 principals' managerial competencies determine the performance of the principal if implemented properly so that the desired work results are achieved. Keywords: Strengthening Principals By Supervisors.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe teacher professionalism, teacher training, and teacher workexperience at SMP Negeri Kecamatan Pemangkat. It also aims to determine the effect oftraining and work experience on the teacher professionalism at SMP Negeri KecamatanPemangkat. The form of this research is quantitative research with correlationaltechniques. This study was conducted to examine the relationship between theindependent variable and the dependent variable. The independent variables in this studywere training (X1) and work experience (X2), while the dependent variable was teacherprofessionalism (Y). The population in this study were teachers at SMP NegeriKecamatan Pemangkat. The number of samples in this study were 69 teachers. Datacollection instruments used were questionnaire. The results of data processing showedthat the teachers professionalism in SMP Negeri Kecamatan Pemangkat is low, teachertraining in SMP Negeri Kecamatan Pemangkat is low, and the work experience in SMPNegeri Kecamatan Pemangkat is very low. It also showed that training and workexperience simultaneously have an effect of 26.10% on the teachers professionalism atSMP Negeri Kecamatan Pemangkat. This means that teacher training and workexperience simultaneously have a positive effect on increasing teacher professionalism.Keywords: Theacher Professionalism, Teacher Training, Teacher Work Experience

Abstract

  AbstractThis study aimed to obatain information konprehenship on school leadership in improving labor work of spirit teacher at SMA Sint Benedictus Pahauman related principal to guidance, influence, motivate teachers to improve teacher work of spirit, obstacles in the natural and efforts principals overcome the obstacles in improving work of spirit teachers. This research is qualitatif descriptive. Source data is comprised of the principal, teacher, satf of administration. Data collection procedures performed by observation, and in-depth structured interviews, and documentation. Checking the validity of the findings made the member check, the adequacy of reference, and triangulate. Analysis of the data used is qualitative analysis is to describe and interpret the data. Results as follows : (1) A guidance of work spirit teacher at SMA Sint Benedictus Pahauman is good, it can be seen from the presence of teacher in the school are in accordance with the schedule of tasks and time specfied, (2) Efforts principals in influencing teacher to improve work of spirit teacher at SMA Sint Benedictus Pahauman has been good, This can be seen from the attitude of the leadership of a school principal in influencing teacher to instill positive habits-habits, (3) Measures to principal in motivating teacher to improve work of spirit  teacher at SMA Sint Benedictus Pahauman has been good, by encourraging, encouragement, and praice to the teacher in implementing the tasks in school, give reward to teacher who diligently,  Keyword: Leadership, Headmaster, Work of Spririt

Abstract

AbstractManaging students is very important to be implemented at schools in order that the school quality can be improved. The aim of managing students was to manage student activities in order that the activities support the learning process at schools where the learning process can run smoothly, orderly, and regularly to enable students learn optimally. Considering the objectives and benefits of managing the students, the quality of education organisation or schools including Satuan Pendidikan Kerjasama (SPK) try their best to manage their students. The purpose of this study was to obtain descriptive information about the management of students with research aspects about analyzing the needs of prospective students, planning prospective students, recruiting prospective students, selecting prospective students, placing prospective students, and career guidance for students to improve quality output of SMA Tunas Bangsa Kubu Raya as an SPK in West Kalimantan. This study found that the management of students in SMA Tunas Bangsa Kubu Raya was done through aspects of management of students. An analysis of the needs of prospective participants was carried out by the principal with the foundation by considering the ratio of teachers and students.
