Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between audio-visual media and oral language skills in children aged 5-6 years at Immanuel Christian Kindergarten Pontianak. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The sample of this research data is children aged 5- 6 years in Immanuel Christian Kindergarten as many as 106 samples taken using simple random sampling method. The data taken were in the form of an assessment sheet for the child's oral language skills by the teacher and a questionnaire filled out by the parents of the students with the help of a google form. Data analysis used the product moment correlation formula and the results showed the rcount value of 0.633 > rtable of 0.195 at the significance level (α) = 0.05, so the conclusion of this study is that Hα is accepted and H0 is rejected, so there is a strong positive influence between the use of audio-visual media. with oral language skills of children aged 5-6 years in Immanuel Christian Kindergarten Pontianak.Keywords : Audio Visual, Learning Media, Oral Language, Skills.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to describe the method of developing empathy for children aged 5-6 years in families at Bina Anak Muslim Kindergarten in Singkawang City. The research method used is descriptive method in the form of qualitative research. Subjects in this study were parents, totaling 10 people at Bina Anak Muslim Kindergarten in Singkawang City. The location of this research was at the parents' house, namely in Pasiran Village, West Singkawang District. This study used two data collection techniques were documentation and interviews. The results of this study showed that the storytelling method was carried out by parents by providing material according to the child's condition through story books and videos displayed via cellphones, the lecture method was carried out by parents through an approach to children accompanied by advice and examples of actions taken by parents so that children would imitate what parents say, while the habituation method is applied through daily activities accompanied by an approach with children, giving children the opportunity to do something related to empathy towards friends and the surrounding environment and getting children to share.Keywords: Development Method Empathy

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the role of parents in improving the discipline of children aged 5-6 years at Tk Al-Adabiy Pontianak. The method used in the study This is a descriptive method with a qualitative research form. The subjects in the study were parents and children aged 5-6 years at TK AlAdabiy Pontianak. The data collection techniques used in the study were observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that: 1. The role of parents in providing self-examples to improve children's discipline, parents always give a warning if they make a mistake. 2. The role of parents in creating togetherness with children to realize moral values in creating children's discipline, namely teaching children to always say greetings, and always respect their elders and fellow friends. 3. The role of parents in living the world of children to create child discipline, namely parents respond and understand children. 4. The role of parents in providing logical consequences to improve children's discipline, namely parents provide consequences that are mutually agreed upon. 5. The role of parents in controlling children's behavior to improve children's discipline is that parents always control children's behavior. Thus the role that has been implemented by parents to improve discipline for children aged 5-6 years at Tk Al-Adabiy Pontianak has been carried out well.Keywords: Role of Teachers, Independence of Children

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to find out the influence of experimental learning methods on children’s science skills in TK Tunas Cahaya. The research method used is quantitative with quasi experimental design approach with the from nonequivalent control group design. The study sample included all children in TK Tunas Cahaya with a total of 12 childern. Research instruments are using observation sheets and checklists. Data collection tools use observation techniques and documentation technique. Based on the results of the analysis showed a difference in final results ehere the experimental class with a score of 90 compared to the control class with a score of 74. The Wilcoxon match pairs test calculation using SPSS for windows version 23 shows a Z value of - 2,214 and Asymp. Sig (2 tailed) of 0.027 with calculation conditions ˃ so accepted. Because ˂ that is 0.027 ˂ 0.05 then rejected and accepted. So, it can be conclude that there is an influence of experimental learning methods on children’s science skill in TK Tunas Cahaya.Keywords: Experimental Learning Methods, Science Skills
