Abstract

This study examines leadership culture transformation in Balikpapan's private higher education institutions (PHEIs) facing modern challenges. Qualitative multi-site methods, data was collected through interviews and observations from various stakeholders. Results show PHEIs confronting diverse challenges: quality improvement, resource limitations, and governance issues. Transformation requires a holistic approach including consistent leadership, capacity development, and organizational restructuring. While positive impacts like increased collaboration and efficiency have emerged, obstacles such as role ambiguity and limited autonomy persist. Continuous evaluation is crucial for long-term success in improving PHEI performance and quality. Inspirational leadership is key to successful change. The study highlights complex challenges faced by PHEIs and emphasizes comprehensive strategies for effective transformation. Despite positive outcomes, ongoing assessment is needed to address remaining barriers and ensure sustained improvement in Balikpapan's private higher education sector.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh komunikasi, kerja sama tim, dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada divisi operasional PT. Sari Rahayu Biomantara Balikpapan. Penelitian ini melibatkan 40 responden dari divisi tersebut. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan regresi berganda dengan SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial komunikasi, kerja sama tim, dan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja. Secara simultan ketiga variabel tersebut berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa PT. Sari Rahayu Biomantara perlu memfokuskan upaya peningkatan kinerja karyawan dengan pendekatan holistik. Meskipun secara individual faktor komunikasi, kerja sama tim, dan lingkungan kerja tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan, namun kombinasi ketiganya secara simultan memberikan dampak positif yang kuat terhadap kinerja. Oleh karena itu, manajemen perusahaan disarankan untuk merancang program pengembangan yang mengintegrasikan ketiga aspek tersebut. Hal ini dapat mencakup pelatihan komunikasi yang efektif, kegiatan team building, serta peningkatan fasilitas dan suasana kerja. Dengan pendekatan yang terintegrasi tersebut, diharapkan dapat menciptakan sinergi yang lebih baik antar karyawan, yang pada akhirnya akan meningkatkan produktivitas dan kinerja divisi operasional secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of Profit management and tax avoidance on the value of the company. The sample consisted of 28 companies with the retrieval technique using purposive sample technique in the health, transportation infrastructure, and logistics sectors listed on the IDX for 2018-2022. The results of the study state that company value is not influenced by Profit management while company value is influenced by tax avoidance.
