Abstract

The Qawaid-translation tradition is still found in several pesantren in West Sumatra. Arabic is made as something dead or inactive. The use of the direct method with daily Arabic practice can be a solution to improving students' mastery of Arabic material. This method emphasizes props and practice as the core of learning activities. This research analyzes the improvement of students' mastery of Arabic material using the direct method. Classroom Action Research is the method of choice in this research with participant type, using observation and test techniques. Data were obtained from Arabic language teachers and 12 students. The results showed increased learning outcomes for students learning Arabic using the direct method. The acquisition of the average value of complete students increased from the pre-cycle of 51.25 to 76.75 in cycle II. This data shows that using the direct method can improve the mastery of Arabic language material in pesantren. This research has implications for the choice of teacher methods in teaching Arabic actively to enhance students' ability and learning outcomes.

Abstract

One of the important factors that affect employee performance is supervision. This study aims to analyze the influence of supervision, work placement, and organizational culture on employee performance at the Kualuh Hulu Sub-district Office. The method used is a quantitative approach with data collection through questionnaires distributed to 30 employees. The results of multiple regression analysis show that these three variables have a significant influence on employee performance, with supervision making the greatest contribution. These findings demonstrate the importance of effective supervision, appropriate work placement, and a positive organizational culture in improving employee performance. This study provides recommendations for management to focus on strengthening these three aspects to achieve optimal performance in public services.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan dan hambatan melalui Restoratif Justice dalam penyelesaiaan tindak pidana penganiayaan. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu secara kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deduktif maupun induktif kemudian disajikan secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan berdasarkan Restoratif Justice dari tahun 2022 sampai tahun 2023 pihak kepolisian di wilayah hukum Kepolisian Resor Polewali Mandar mengupayakan pendekatan restoratif dikarenakan jumlah kasus yang berakhir dengan perdamaian mengalami peningkatan. Walaupun ada beberapa penyebab yang tidak dilakukan Restoratif Justice ialah salah satu penyebabnya pada tahun 2022 karena korban tidak menerima untuk berdamai dikarenakan tidak ada hubungan keluarga dan tetap tidak mau mencabut laporan (sudah dilimpahkan ke kejaksaan), namun pada tahun 2023 penyebab tindak pidana penganiayaan tidak dilakukan Restorative justice sama dengan tahun 2022 yaitu tidak mau mencabut laporan dan sudah dilimpahkan ke kejaksaan, sementara dalam penyelidikan, tidak cukup bukti. Hambatan dalam penerapan restoratif di wilayah hukum kepolisian resor polewali mandar dalam hal sumber daya aparat yaitu masih ada aparat yang kurang pemahaman serta pengalaman dalam melakukan proses restoratif tersebut Selain itu, Kultur Hukum yang belum mendukung pelaksanaan Restoratif Justice, tidak adanya kesepakatan antara korban dengan Pelaku dan Masayarakat kab. Polewali Mandar belum terlalu paham dengan Hukum kemudian kurangnya kelompok-kelompok pemerhari sosial. This research aims to analyze the implementation and obstacles through Restorative Justice in the settlement of maltreatment crime case. This research used qualitative research. Data collection was carried out through interviews and documentation. The data analysis used is qualitative using deductive and inductive methods and then presented descriptively.The results of the research show that from 2022 to 2023 the police in the jurisdiction of the Polewali Mandar Resort Police will strive for a restorative approach because the number of cases ending in peace has increased. Although there are several reasons that Restorative Justice was not carried out, one of the reasons in 2022 was because the victim did not accept to reconcile because there was no family relationship and still did not want to withdraw the report (it had been handed over to the prosecutor's office), but in 2023 the cause of the criminal act of abuse was not carried out. Restorative justice is the same as in 2022, namely not wanting to withdraw the report and it has been handed over to the prosecutor's office, while during the investigation, there is not enough evidence. The obstacles in the application of restorative in the jurisdiction of the Polewali Mandar Resort Police in terms of apparatus resources are that there are still officers who lack understanding and experience in carrying out the restorative process. In addition, the legal culture that has not supported the implementation of Restorative Justice, the absence of an agreement between the victim and the perpetrator and the Polewali Mandar district community is not too familiar with the law and the lack of social awareness groups.
