Abstract

This service was carried out at Posyandu Lansia Desa Genengsari with the main objective of improving access to health services and supporting the quality of life of the elderly. The program effectively identified and met the specific health needs of the elderly population in the village by observing, preparing, and conducting health screenings. Screening activities consist of weight measurement, height measurement, blood pressure monitoring, and GCU tests to detect health problems such as diabetes, hypertension, and dyslipidemia early. This program not only emphasizes the detection and treatment of health problems, but also increases the awareness and knowledge of the elderly about the importance of preventive health management. The results of this service showed an increase in the elderly's access to quality health services as well as a better understanding of ways to maintain health in old age. The program emphasized the importance of collaboration between health workers, the community, and the elderly in creating a supportive environment for the well-being of the elderly, demonstrating that coordinated interventions can improve the quality of life of the elderly.Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di Posyandu Lansia Desa Genengsari dengan tujuan utama untuk meningkatkan akses terhadap layanan kesehatan dan mendukung kualitas hidup lansia. Program ini secara efektif mengidentifikasi dan memenuhi kebutuhan kesehatan khusus dari populasi lansia di desa tersebut dengan melakukan observasi, persiapan, dan pelaksanaan pemeriksaan kesehatan. Kegiatan skrining terdiri dari pengukuran berat badan, pengukuran tinggi badan, pemantauan tekanan darah, dan tes GCU untuk mendeteksi masalah kesehatan seperti diabetes, hipertensi, dan dislipidemia secara dini. Program ini tidak hanya menekankan pada deteksi dan penanganan masalah kesehatan, namun juga meningkatkan kesadaran dan pengetahuan para lansia tentang pentingnya manajemen kesehatan preventif. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan peningkatan akses lansia terhadap layanan kesehatan yang berkualitas serta pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang cara-cara menjaga kesehatan di usia lanjut. Program ini menekankan pada pentingnya kerja sama antara tenaga kesehatan, masyarakat, dan lansia dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung untuk kesejahteraan lansia, menunjukkan bahwa intervensi yang terkoordinasi dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup lansia.

Abstract

UKM Toolsku 3D Printing is one of the creative business actors in Kalasan District, Yogyakarta that produces goods based on 3D printing technology according to consumer demand. Despite having good production capacity, partners face obstacles in optimizing digital product marketing, limited attractive packaging, and low consumer awareness of the brands they own. These problems cause stagnation in business growth and low absorption of filament production. To overcome these challenges, this community service activity was carried out using a design thinking approach, which consists of five stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. Through a participatory approach, partners are actively involved in every stage from identifying problems, formulating solutions, to implementing business process digitalization strategies. The main activities include introducing the concept of MSME digitalization, training in implementing information technology-based work systems, mentoring in improving branding and product packaging designs, creating digital e-catalogs on e-commerce platforms, and digital marketing training through social media. The results of the activities showed a significant increase in partners' understanding of digital technology, strengthening brand identity, and increasing engagement and market reach through online platforms. This activity has succeeded in forming the foundation of a sustainable digital system that is responsive to market needs. In addition, partners have demonstrated continued initiatives such as the appointment of special staff for digital marketing, reflecting the sustainability of the interventions carried out. Thus, this activity not only increases the internal capacity of UKM Toolsku, but can also be used as a model for digital-based empowerment for other UKMs in the current era of digital transformation.
