Abstract

Decision of the Constitutional Court (MK) Number 90/PUU-XXI/2023 on the change in the minimum age requirement for presidential and vice-presidential candidates has generated various responses from the Indonesian people. This research aims to analyse the public response to the decision and its its impact on the role of the President in the institutional system of the Indonesian government and public participation in democracy. and public participation in democracy. Based on a descriptive study with a juridical-normative approach, the results of the study show that the majority of the public who gave a negative response to the verdict had concerns about the integrity of the judiciary and the potential for dynastic politics. In addition, the Court's decision introduced a new dynamic in the relationship between the executive and judiciary that affects the position and role of the President. Although Nonetheless, the decision also increased political awareness and political awareness and public participation, albeit accompanied by a decline in trust in the Constitutional Court. Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis efektivitas Peraturan Presiden Nomor 98 Tahun 2021 dalam mendukung pencapaian Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) Indonesia sesuai Perjanjian Paris.. Data statistik emisi GRK sebelum dan sesudah pemberlakuan peraturan dianalisis untuk menilai efektivitas kebijakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa insentif pasar karbon berhasil mendorong investasi proyek rendah karbon, meskipun terdapat hambatan dalam pelaksanaan, seperti kompleksitas pendaftaran dan kurangnya koordinasi antara pemerintah pusat dan daerah. Di sektor Kehutanan dan Tata Guna Lahan (FoLU) serta pengelolaan limbah, dampak positif terlihat dalam penurunan emisi, namun mekanisme Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) perlu diperkuat. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penerbitan peraturan pemerintah yang lebih rinci, pembentukan Badan Otoritas Pasar Karbon independen, serta integrasi kebijakan nilai ekonomi karbon dalam RPJMN dan RKP untuk memastikan keberlanjutan kebijakan.

Abstract

This study describes the survival strategies of women family caregivers in Perbutulan Village, Cirebon Regency, especially unemployed family heads. Women who are responsible for families with unemployed heads of households face double pressure; acting not only as the manager of the house but also as the main breadwinner, even though they often get uncertain income. This research uses qualitative methods through in-depth interviews, observation, and document collection. The results showed that women family caregivers use various strategies, including active strategies (optimizing the potential of their family and surrounding environment, such as selling, farming, and raising livestock), passive strategies (managing and reducing family expenses), and network strategies (utilizing social support and relationships through participation in community activities). The findings of this study are expected to illustrate and provide an understanding of the ways of survival for women who are responsible for the family, as well as a reference for future research in this area.

Abstract

This research examines the impact of limited political party funding on the quality of democracy in Indonesia through a juridical-empirical approach. Data is collected from literature studies and party financial audit reports. The findings show that funding limitations worsen the quality of regeneration, political participation, and party financial transparency and accountability. Policy recommendations include the need for more transparent state funding and an independent audit system to strengthen electoral democracy in Indonesia.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini mengkaji dampak keterbatasan pendanaan partai politik terhadap kualitas demokrasi di Indonesia melalui pendekatan yuridis-empiris. Data dikumpulkan dari studi literatur dan laporan audit keuangan partai. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa keterbatasan dana memperburuk kualitas kaderisasi, partisipasi politik, serta transparansi dan akuntabilitas keuangan partai. Rekomendasi kebijakan mencakup perlunya pendanaan negara yang lebih transparan dan sistem audit independen untuk memperkuat demokrasi elektoral di Indonesia.
