Abstract

Fiqh is often interpreted as a human effort, which involves a process of reasoning, both at the theoretical and practical levels, in understanding, describing and elaborating religious laws. By calling it humane it is intended to distinguish fiqh from sharia. The latter is loosely understood to refer to the Islamic religion or divine law as contained in the corpus of revelation without involving human hands. In other words, fiqh is a reflection of the Shari'a. Because fiqh grows from the results of istinbath (legal exploration), fatwa and ijtihad, certain tools are needed to regulate the achievement of fiqh products, known as ushul fiqh (legal theory) and qawa'id fiqhiyyah. Social fiqh is also very closely related to human benefit in the framework of maqashid sharia. The purpose of fiqh is not just an individual approach or relationship with Allah, but rather an individual relationship with the surrounding community to establish friendship and build a high sense of humanity and social life. Apart from that, cultivating that character is also the psychological characteristics of morals and manners. The formation of character in Islam can also be called akhlakul karimah, which is where one can control oneself from desires that are positive or vice versa. The purpose of fiqh itself in life is to make Islam khaffah (perfect), as well as a guide in everyday life.

Abstract

Fenomena tren fotografi di kalangan mahasiswa semakin berkembang seiring dengan meningkatnya penggunaan media sosial. Banyak mahasiswa mencari lokasi yang menarik untuk berfoto guna meningkatkan eksposur di platform-platform tersebut. Universitas Sunan Giri Surabaya berupaya memenuhi kebutuhan ini dengan menciptakan spot foto kreatif di lingkungan kampus. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan estetika kampus serta memberikan wadah bagi mahasiswa dalam mengekspresikan kreativitas melalui fotografi. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR). Kegiatan dimulai dengan pengamatan terhadap lokasi-lokasi potensial di kampus yang dapat dijadikan spot foto. Mahasiswa, dosen, dan pihak pengelola kampus dilibatkan dalam diskusi untuk merumuskan ide dan konsep spot foto yang diinginkan. Setelah itu, dilakukan proses desain dan pembuatan spot foto yang melibatkan partisipasi aktif dari mahasiswa sebagai bentuk pengembangan kreativitas. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan minat mahasiswa untuk menggunakan spot foto yang telah dibuat. Spot-spot tersebut berhasil menarik perhatian dan sering digunakan untuk berfoto oleh mahasiswa. Evaluasi dari kegiatan ini juga menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa merasa lebih terinspirasi dalam berkreasi dan berinteraksi dengan lingkungan kampus. Saran untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut adalah melakukan perawatan secara berkala terhadap spot foto yang ada. Penambahan variasi spot foto juga dapat menjadi nilai tambah untuk menarik lebih banyak mahasiswa. Pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat terus meningkatkan keindahan visual kampus serta menciptakan pengalaman positif bagi mahasiswa dalam beraktivitas di Universitas Sunan Giri Surabaya.
