Abstract

Abstract: Abstract: This study aims to describe the ability of inquiry held by elementary school students at the time given inquiry-based activities. The method used is a qualitative descriptive conducted in one of the elementary schools in the city of Palembang, South Sumatra. The data collection is done by providing inquiry-based student activity sheet containing seven stages of activity. Sheets inquiry activities done by the students of Class I to Class IV Elementary School. Total student working inquiry activity sheet totaled 178 people. The results showed that there are five faculties of inquiry that arise and have a difference in every level of ability from Class I - Class VI. Fifth ability of inquiry that emerged is experiencing growth of the number of students who mastered at each level and the composition of each capability. Classically students at the level of Class I and Class II is not yet mastered the ability of inquiry.Keywords: the ability of an inquiry, the elementary school studentsAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kemampuan inkuiri yang dikuasai siswa Sekolah Dasar pada saat diberikan kegiatan berbasis inkuiri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang dilaksanakan di salah satu Sekolah Dasar di kota Palembang, Sumatera Selatan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan siswa lembar kegiatan berbasis inkuiri yang berisi tujuh tahapan kegiatan. Lembar kegiatan inkuiri dikerjakan oleh siswa Kelas I hingga Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Total keseluruhan siswa yang mengerjakan lembar kegiatan inkuiri berjumlah 178 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat lima kemampuan inkuiri yang muncul dan memiliki perbedaan pada setiap kemampuan dari tingkatan Kelas I – Kelas VI. Kelima kemampuan inkuiri yang muncul ini mengalami perkembangan dari jumlah siswa yang menguasai pada setiap jenjang dan komposisi pada setiap kemampuan. Secara klasikal siswa pada tingkatan Kelas I dan Kelas II dikatakan belum menguasai kemampuan inkuiri.Kata kunci : kemampuan inkuiri, siswa sekolah dasar

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to obtain a description of the implementation of the basic science concept courses with experimental methods and their impact on the activities and learning outcomes of collegesstudents. The research method used is descriptive analysis method. The data were collected on PGSD collegesstudents with 15 peoples. With the experimental method colleges students are given problems by lecturers.Colleges students with their groups conduct discussions, problem analysis, design experiments and report the results of the experiments in front of the class. The average of colleges student activity at meetings 1 and 2 is 72.3% with active category and at meetings 3 and4 is 86.32% with very active category.Colleges student learning outcomes were obtained by using one sample t-test statistic test on N-Gain value. The statistical test results show the difference (mean) is 0.548 with t = 16.968 and the significance level is 0.000 <0.05. It can be concluded that there is a very significant difference between colleges student learning outcomes with the application of experimental methods with before applying the experimental method.Keywords- Experimental method, liveliness, and college student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract- Values of character are important things that must be implanted for people from the early age through formal education. This article aims to produce the concept of learning science by incorporating elements of character value in it, especially for education in Elementary School. The research method used is study literature. This study shows that science can play a role in building the character of students through the application of project-based learning. Character education through project-based learning by integrating character values into six learning steps consisting of project determination, design of project completion steps, preparation of project implementation schedules, project completion with facilities and teacher monitoring, reporting and presentation presentation or publication of results projects, project evaluation and project outcomes. This model helps students acquire new knowledge, develop social skills and teamwork as well as scientific attitudes in science learning. Social skills and scientific attitudes that can develop the value of the character of the nation desired and determined by the Ministry of National Education. Keywords- value, character, learning science, project-based learning Abstrak- Nilai karakter merupakan unsur penting yang harus ditanamkan kepada seseorang sejak usia dini hingga mengampuh pendidikan formal. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan konsep pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) dengan memasukkan unsur nilai karakter di dalamnya, terutama untuk pendidikan di Sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa IPA dapat berperan dalam membangun karakter siswa melalui penerapan pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Pendidikan karakter melalui pembelajaran bebasis proyek dengan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai karakter ke dalam enam langkah pembelajaran yang terdiri dari penentuan proyek, perancangan langkah-langkah penyelesaian proyek, penyusunan jadwal pelaksanaan proyek, penyelesaian proyek dengan fasilitas dan monitoring guru, penyusunan laporan dan presentasi atau publikasi hasil proyek, evaluasi proses dan hasil proyek. Model ini membantu siswa memperoleh pengetahuan baru, mengembangkan keterampilan sosial dan kerja tim serta sikap ilmiah dalam pembelajaran IPA. Keterampilan sosial dan sikap ilmiah inilah yang dapat mengembangkan nilai karakter dari bangsa yang diinginkan dan ditetapkan oleh Departemen Nasional Pendidikan. Kata Kunci- nilai, karakter, pembelajaran IPA, pembelajaran berbasis proyek

Abstract

This research aims to create a valid and practical Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) based Student Worksheet (LKPD) on cultural and national diversity material in Indonesia on learning Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn). The method used in this research is the ADDIE Research and Development model with the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Data were collected through observation, interview and questionnaire methods. The data analysis technique is carried out by carrying out validity analysis and practicality analysis. The analysis results obtained from research on the development of Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) are valid and practical with an average validity value of 83.3% which is categorized as very valid and an average practicality value of 90.7% in one to one trials and 94.7% in small group trials and were categorized as very practical. Based on the results of validation and trials, the LKPD developed is very valid and very practical as a learning facility for students. The created LKPD can be used as teaching material to improve students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This research aims to create Truth or Dare Spin Wheel media at Class IV Elementary School on Science Learning with validity, practicality and potential effects. The method used by this researcher is research and development with the ADDIE model which includes 5 stages, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The subjects of this research were class IV students at SD Negeri 007 Palembang. The results of this research show that the Truth or Dare Spin Wheel media at fourth grade elementary school on science learning is in the very valid category with 89.3% which is combined from the three validators. Practicality results can be seen from the results of the questionnaire for the entire student trial, the test is 91.4%, so the Truth or Dare Spin Wheel media is concluded to be very practical to be used and the potential effects obtained from the post test results through the use of Truth or Dare Spin Wheel media on science learning at class IV SD was stated to have a very potential effect with 83.4%. Based on the results of research through the validation stage, student questionnaires and post-test results of students using Truth or Dare media at Class IV Elementary Science Learning, it was stated suitable to be used to increase the potential effect of elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a valid and practical rolling ball game media on the subject of Science for Grade IV Elementary School. The type of research used is Research & Development which apllied the ADDIE stage model with five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. The subjects of this study were grade IV students of Elementary School 21 Palembang. The validity test was obtained through a validation sheet by two (2) lecturers and one (1) teacher getting an average score of 81.4% with the category "very valid". The practicality test was obtained through a student response questionnaire conducted in small groups with an average score of 93.75% with the category "very practical" and a field trial conducted by 20 grade IV students getting an average score of 94.2% with the category "very practical". It can be concluded that the rolling ball game media on plant material, the source of life on earth is valid and practical to be used for the teaching and learning process in class for grade IV students of SD Negeri 21 Palembang.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to develop comic media to determine the validity, practicality and potential effects of the comic media being developed. The type of research applied is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE method which consists of Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The research results from the development of comic media on energy source materials were valid. It can be seen from the assessment results from media, material and language experts, obtaining a percentage of 87% with the criteria "Very Valid". Based on the value given by the validator, comic media can be stated valid to be used in the learning process. The results of the development of comic media can be seen from the student responses in the one to one trial which obtained a percentage of 8.3% with the "Very Practical" criterion, while the student response in the small group trial obtained a percentage of 8.8% with the "Very Practical" criterion", and student responses in the field test which obtained a percentage of 8.7% with the criteria "Very Practical" based on responses from students, the comic media can be stated to have practicality. The results of developing comic media were stated effective. It can be seen from the results of research in field trials which obtained a pre-test score of 7.9% and a post-test score of 9.1% with the criteria "Very High”.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskriptifkan pengaruh dengan gambar berseri terhadap kemampuan menulis karangan persuasi siswa sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode True Experimental Design dengan menggunakan desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Dalam penelitian ini seluruh kelas V di SD Negeri 99 Palembang sebagai populasi. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Sample Random Sampling. Pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Uji-t (Independent Sampel T-Test). Hasil analisis uji hipotesis diketahui bahwa nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen = 83,70 dan nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol = 70 serta hasil yang ditunjukkan juga dari nilai 4,981 hal tersebut kemudian dibandingkan dengan di mana taraf kepercayaan α = 0,05% (5%) dengan dk = + = 27 + 27 – 2 = 52 diperoleh nilai = 2,007. Sehingga > maka ditolak diterima maka hipotesis menyatakan bahwa model picture and picture dengan gambar berseri bepengaruh terhadap kemampuan menulis karangan persuasi siswa sekolah dasar. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan rendahnya minat belajar siswa kelas IV SDN 222 Palembang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ingin melihat adakah pengaruh dari penerapan model pembelajaran Word Square terhadap minat belajar siswa berbantuan gambar pada kelas IV SDN 222 Palembang. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah kelas IV.B sebagai kelas kontrol, pada saat treatment yang diajarkan yaitu metode ceramah dan kelas IV.C sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan word Square sebagai treatment nya. Dalam pengumpulan data peneliti menggunakan angket minat belajar. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan oleh peneliti yaitu uji independent sample t-test atau biasa disebut dengan uji-t. Kesimpulan dari data ini yaitu ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan model pembelajaran Word Square terhadap minat belajar siswa berbantuan gambar kelas IV SDN 222 Palembang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterampilan 4C (Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Creativity) pada pembelajaran P5 (Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila) di kelas IV sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskritif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui Observasi, Wawancara dan Dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian meliputi guru dan siswa kelas IV serta materi pembelajaran P5. keterampilan 4C dalam projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) di SD Negeri 232 Palembang sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan siswa. Dengan dukungan dari guru, orang tua, dan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif, siswa dapat mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, kolaborasi, dan komunikasi dengan baik. Namun, perlu adanya upaya berkelanjutan untuk mengatasi tantangan yang ada dan meningkatkan kualitas pelaksanaan projek P5 di masa mendatang. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan keterampilan 4C dalam pembelajaran P5 masih memerlukan pengembangan lebih lanjut, terutama dalam hal strategi pengajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi, kolaborasi, pemikiran kritis, dan kreativitas siswa. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah pentingnya integrasi keterampilan 4C dalam kurikulum P5 untuk mempersiapkan siswa dalam menghadapi tantangan global dan lokal di era digital saat ini.
