Abstract

Household organic waste, such as fruit peels and vegetable scraps, is one of the largest contributors to community waste. This activity aims to enhance the skills of high school students in Lawang Kidul District in processing organic waste using the Takakura method. This method involves an environmentally friendly, simple fermentation process to produce high-quality compost. The Community Service Program (PKM) is part of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education from the Bukit Asam Industrial Community Academy. The program was carried out through hands-on training that actively involved students. The results showed that students were able to understand and apply the Takakura method, resulting in good-quality compost. This program not only improved students' skills but also had a positive impact on the school environment

Abstract

A good coal mining process is assessed by productivity and efficiency. Productivity can also be increased by using heavy equipment accompanied by competent operators. As one of the largest coal mining companies in Indonesia, PT Bukit Asam, Tbk is required to always be at the best performance, including at the heavy equipment operator level. This research aims to determine the factors of heavy equipment use as assessed by cycle time on coal productivity. Productivity is limited to the overburden loading process by the Komatsu PC3000SE excavator at PIT 2 Swakelola Tambang Banko Barat. The greatest productivity obtained was 1099 m3 per hour and the average percent productivity was 79.4%. In this research, a match factor of 0.8 was also obtained as a basis for further research that needs to be carried out to optimize the overburden loading and dumping process for PT Bukit Asam

Abstract

HGI is a laboratory measurement of the ease or difficulty of grinding or pulverizing coal. The grinding index value determines the time and effort required to grind coal to a certain fineness. This test is determined by preparing a certain grain size to be ground using a machine under standard conditions and the amount of coal being crushed is compared to the standard linearity of coal. The HGI standard values ​​that have been certified using ASTM standards are 32, 49, 65, and 95. This study consisted of variables, namely temperature and heating time, and related variables, namely HGI values. HGI data retrieval after heating minutes was carried out on coal samples with heating temperatures of 50˚C, 100˚C, 150˚C and 200˚C and heating times of 30 minutes, 60, 90 minutes and 120 minutes. The condition of the optimum HGI value was obtained at a heating temperature of 100℃ and a time of 60 minutes with an HGI value of 70.2558,. This index is very helpful in assessing the capacity of the mill used to grind coal to the required size for feed to the furnace besides HGI also affects how the coal is distributed in the lifting equipment properly.

Abstract

Pengaruh yang terjadi pada hasil lasan jika penggunaan ampere tidak tepat ialah akan menimbulkan cacat las, penetrasi yang tidak maksimal, kekuatan lasan akan kalah dengan kekuatan material sehingga lasan menjadi rapuh dan mudah putus, dan terjadi lebarnya diameter pengelasan. survey data-data terkait penggunaan ampere pada pengelasan menggunakan elektroda 7018 diameter 3,2 dengan metode SMAW yang selanjutnya untuk dijadikan acuan untuk di teliti. ampere yang digunakan adalah 100 A, 110 A dan 120A Pada hasil pengelasan ini kemudian dilakukan proses pendinginan dengan media pendingin udara.. Kemudian plate dipotong menjadi beberapa bagian dengan menggunakan mesin cutting. Hasil dari pengujian tarik yang telah dilakukan, ampere yang tepat pada posisi pengelasan down hand dengan menggunakan elektroda E7018 diameter 3,2 pada material ST52-3 plate 10 milli meter yaitu ampere 110 A dengan nilai 528,428 N/mm2.
