Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan manajemen pemasaran jasa pendidikan terhadap daya saing MTs Negeri 2 Rejang Lebong di tengah persaingan dengan lembaga pendidikan lain. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pemasaran tradisional yang diterapkan, seperti promosi melalui media cetak, parade drumband, dan kunjungan door-to-door, belum cukup efektif meningkatkan jumlah pendaftar baru. Pemasaran digital melalui platform Instagram dan Facebook mulai diterapkan, tetapi pengelolaannya belum optimal. Faktor internal, seperti keterbatasan fasilitas pendidikan dan kompetensi guru, serta faktor eksternal, seperti keberadaan lembaga pendidikan lain yang memiliki program antar-jemput dan keunggulan pendidikan berbasis agama, turut memengaruhi daya saing sekolah. Rekomendasi penelitian ini mencakup integrasi pemasaran digital yang lebih terkelola dan peningkatan kualitas layanan pendidikan untuk memperkuat daya saing sekolah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of implementing educational service marketing management on the competitiveness of MTs Negeri 2 Rejang Lebong amidst competition with other educational institutions. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative, utilizing data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings indicate that the traditional marketing strategies implemented, such as promotion through print media, drumband parades, and door-to-door visits, have not been sufficiently effective in increasing the number of new applicants. Digital marketing through platforms like Instagram and Facebook has been initiated, but its management remains suboptimal. Internal factors, such as limited educational facilities and teacher competency, as well as external factors, including the presence of other educational institutions with student shuttle programs and strengths in religious-based education, also influence the school's competitiveness. This study recommends the integration of better-managed digital marketing strategies and improvements in the quality of educational services to strengthen the school's competitiveness.

Abstract

Improving the quality of human resources has become a primary focus in national development towards Indonesia Emas 2045. One of the key strategies is the transformation of the compulsory education policy, which initially mandated nine years of schooling, later expanded to twelve years, and is now directed towards thirteen years with the integration of Early Childhood Education (PAUD). Early childhood education plays a crucial role in shaping children's readiness for primary education while simultaneously reducing literacy gaps from an early age. This article aims to analyze the urgency of expanding compulsory education to thirteen years from the perspective of national human resource development and Indonesia's commitment to Target 4.2 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030. This study employs a qualitative approach based on literature review of national policy documents, academic studies, and research findings. The results indicate that integrating PAUD into the compulsory education system will strengthen school readiness, enhance equitable access to education, and establish a strong foundation for literacy, numeracy, and character development among Indonesian children. To realize this policy, it is necessary to expand access to quality PAUD services, strengthen national regulations, and foster multi-stakeholder collaboration. Through these efforts, thirteen years of compulsory education will serve as a strategic foundation for developing superior and globally competitive Indonesian human resources.
