Abstract

This study aims to understand the role of character education in the formation of entrepreneurial attitudes in elementary school students. Character education is considered an important foundation for developing entrepreneurial skills, such as independence, creativity, hard work, and the courage to take risks. The method used in this study is descriptive-qualitative through literature studies, analyzing various relevant sources regarding the implementation of entrepreneurship education at the elementary school level. The findings of the study indicate that character education can be effective in forming entrepreneurial attitudes in students if implemented through integration into subjects, personal development activities, extracurricular programs and local content. By consistently applying character values, students can develop self-confidence, responsibility, and innovative mindsets that support them to become entrepreneurs in the future. This study provides recommendations for educators and policy makers to design comprehensive and applicable education programs to instill entrepreneurial character from an early age.

Abstract

The use of digital learning media in Social Studies subjects in elementary schools has become an important innovation in improving the quality of learning. Digital media not only enriches the learning experience, but also contributes to improving students' literacy, which includes the ability to seek, analyze and utilize information critically. However, the implementation of these media faces various challenges, such as infrastructure limitations, lack of teacher skills, content compatibility with the curriculum, and digital security issues. This research discusses digital learning media development strategies that include collaboration between educators and technology developers, intensive training for teachers, provision of adequate infrastructure, and content design tailored to the characteristics of elementary school students. Visual-based and interactive digital media is considered effective to improve students' understanding of social studies materials that are often abstract. In addition, the integration of digital learning with conventional methods provides a balanced and contextualized learning experience. By addressing the existing challenges, digital learning media can be an effective tool to strengthen students' literacy and equip them with 21st century skills. This research is expected to contribute to the development of innovative learning practices that are relevant to students' needs in the digital era.

Abstract

Education is basically a conscious effort to develop students' potential to the maximum. One important aspect of education is character education which aims to train children so that they grow into responsible individuals. Thus, character education not only helps overcome signs of moral crisis, but also plays a role in developing the younger generation. Social studies education is a science that studies social life using teaching materials based on research in the fields of history, geography, economics, sociology, anthropology and political art.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the extent to which the use of visual media can improve student learning outcomes in social studies learning at the elementary school level. This research has been carried out using descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection techniques, namely literature study. Data sources include books, journals or previous articles and theses that have the same theme as this research. This research shows that the use of visual media has a significant impact on improving student learning outcomes in social studies lessons in elementary schools. Visual media helps students visualize abstract concepts, so that learning material becomes more concrete and easier to understand. This not only improves student learning outcomes, but also encourages their involvement, motivation and creativity in the learning process. Thus, the use of visual media should be routinely integrated into learning activities to achieve optimal learning outcomes and improve the quality of good education at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Profil Pelajar Pancasila mencakup kemampuan dan kualitas yang harus dikuasai oleh peserta didik Indonesia pada abad ke-21 ini. Kompetensi dan karakter saling mendukung. Menurut Permendikbud Ristek No. 22 Tahun 2020 tentang Rencana Strategis Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Tahun 2020–2024, Profil Pelajar Pancasila menggambarkan pelajar Indonesia sebagai pelajar sepanjang hayat yang memiliki kompetensi global dan berperilaku sesuai dengan nilai-nilai pancasila. Profil ini memiliki enam pilar, termasuk, 1) Beriman, bertakwa kepada TuhanYang Maha Esa, dan berakhlak mulia, 2) Mandiri, 3) Bernalar Kritis,4) Kreatif, 5) Bergotong-royong,dan 6) Berkebhinekaan globa.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data yang berbeda melalui studi literatur. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara mereview berbagai jurnal ilmiah yang berkaitan dengan topik peningkatan karakter kebhinekaan melalui P5 pada siswa di sekolah dasar. Jurnal yang dianalisis juga berasal dari publikasi nasional dan internasional dengan fokus pada peningkatan terhadap karakter kebhinekaan pada siswa di Sekolah Dasar. Adapun upaya yang dapat guru lakukan dalam menembangkan nilai-nilai karakter dalam diri peserta didik sesuai dengan nilai Pancasila adalah dengan memberikan penguatan pendidikan karakter melalui profil pelajar Pancasila kepada guru selama kegiatan pelatihan. Hal ini penting bagi guru dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menyusun pembelajaran berbasis proyek profil pelajar Pancasila serta mampu dalam merencanakan proyek, pendampingan, fasilitator, dan juga narasumber pada kegiatan tersebut. Pendidikan karakter yang didasarkan pada Pancasila memainkan peran penting dalam pembentukan karakter siswa di Indonesia. Seperti yang telah dijelaskan oleh Thomas Lickona, pendidikan karakter dibentuk dengan membimbing peserta didik dalam memahami dan menerapkan prinsip-prinsip etika, terutama yang ada dalam Pancasila. Dengan memasukkan nilai-nilai Pancasila ke dalam kurikulum dan pembelajaran, diharapkan siswa akan mengembangkan karakter yang baik dan siap menghadapi tantangan zaman, termasuk menghadapi globalisasi. Profil Pelajar Pancasila, yang mencakup enam pilar utama: beriman, berkebhinekaan global, gotong royong, mandiri, berpikir kritis, dan kreatif, adalah langkah strategis dalam membentuk karakter siswa yang tidak hanya mahir dalam bidang akademik tetapi juga berbudi pekerti. Pembelajaran berbasis proyek (P5) yang menggabungkan nilai-nilai Pancasila juga membantu peserta didik dalam meningkatkan kemampuannya dalam menganalisa dan memecahkan suatu masalah yang tengah dihadapinya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of scientific methods on the learning outcomes of social studies students. The type of research used is data collection research using journals, books, and others. Based on the results of research and discussion on the effectiveness of scientific methods. The scientific method is considered a golden bridge that encourages the development of attitudes, skills, and knowledge in students. The application of the scientific method provides challenges to teachers by developing student activities, namely observing, asking, gathering information, reasoning, and communicating. Social studies with scientific methods. Learning is not just memorizing concepts, years, or facts, but trying to connect these concepts so that they produce a complete understanding so that the concepts learned are easy to understand.
