Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of technology in career planning in the digital era in examining its opportunities and challenges and the implementation of technology in career planning in the digital era, offering significant opportunities and challenges. In the digital age, technology has become an integral part of various aspects of life, including in career planning. Technology can help individuals make more informed and effective decisions in planning their careers. However, the implementation of technology can also pose challenges such as how technology can be used effectively and how technology can be used effectively and how individuals can utilize technology to improve their quality of life and career. The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze the opportunities and challenges of technology implementation in career planning in the digital era. The research methodology carried out by this researcher uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The data collection technique was carried out using literature study techniques that referred to several sources such as journals, and other literature reviews. The results of this study show that technology can help individuals make more informed and effective decisions in planning their careers. However, the implementation of technology can also pose challenges, such as how technology can be used effectively and how individuals can utilize technology to improve their quality of life and career

Abstract

The development of digital technology has changed the paradigm of human resource management (HRM), with Human Resource Analytics (HRA) becoming a key approach to data-driven decision-making. This research aims to conduct an integrative review of the roles, benefits, challenges, and current trends in the application of HRA in various organizations. The method used is a systematic literature review, by analyzing 15 academic articles from reputable international journals that discuss the implementation of HRA in workforce management. The results revealed that the implementation of HRA can improve operational efficiency, support employee recruitment and retention processes, and facilitate the development of data-based training strategies. However, key challenges in HRA implementation include the lack of analytics skills among HR professionals, data privacy and security issues, and resistance to change within organizations. The study also identified recent trends, such as the integration of artificial intelligence (AI), the use of people analytics to measure employee engagement, and the adoption of cloud-based HR technologies. Based on the findings, it is recommended that organizations invest in analytics skills training for HR professionals such as drafting a comprehensive data protection policy and gradually adopting HRA technologies to improve the effectiveness of HR management. This research contributes to both academics and practitioners by presenting insights on how HRA can be optimally implemented to support more accurate and evidence-based decision-making in HRM.

Abstract

Kinerja pegawai merupakan suatu hasil kerja dapat dicapai sesuai dengan standar dan peraturan yang berlaku dalam instansi tersebut. keberhasilan kerja dalam mencapai hasil yang memuaskan dan optimal memerlukan dukungan pimpinan dan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi. Dukungan pimpinan menjadi peran penting terhadap kinerja pegawai. Kepemimpinan transformasional merupakan salah satu jenis tipe dapat digunakan dalam memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja pengawai. Kepemimpinan transformasional menerapkan konsep dimana kemampuan yang dimiliki oleh seorang pemimpin untuk memberikan persuasif kepada pegawainya, sehingga mereka akan mengikuti arahan, menghormati, dan meneladani perilaku pimpinan tersebut. Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi memberikan pengaruh dalam kinerja pegawai. Pengawai yang mampu memanfaatkan penggunaan teknologi informasi dalam pekerjaannya memudahkan penyelesaian tugas-tugas menjadi cepat, efesien, dan efektif. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan pemanfaatan teknologi terhadap kinerja pegawai. Metode penelitian menggunakan expo facto explanatory. Populasi dalam penelitian ini merupakan pengawai dinas pegawai Dinas Penanaman Modal Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu (DPMPTSP) Kota Serang berjumlah 88 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampel jenuh. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan bantuan aplikasi SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja pegawai memberikan pengaruh positif sebesar 42,2% dan siginifikan. Selanjutnya pemanfaatan teknologi informasi tidak berpengaruhi dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai sebesar 9%. Saran bagi Dinas DPMPTSP di Kota Serang untuk dapat meningkatkan kinerja pegawai dapat dilakukan dengan cara kepeminpinan transformasional yang dilakukan oleh pemimpinan/pejabat dinas DPMPTSP kepada pegawai.
