Abstract

This research discusses the Image Management of the elected Member of the Regional Representative Council Intsiawati Ayus in 2019 Riau electoral district, where building a good image in the community is an important thing for a politician to do, so that at the time of the election the public wants to vote for politicians who are running for legilative members. especially the competition between candidates is considered very significant which makes politicians have to make special strategies in the election process, Moreover, the competition between candidates is considered very significant which makes politicians have to make special strategies in the election process and the focus of this research is to understand the Political Public Relations (PR) Activities of Intsiawati Ayus' Image Management in the Election of Members of the Regional Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia) Riau Electoral District in 2019 using qualitative methods reinforced by a literature study approach. Data collection techniques are carried out by interview where the information is determined by purposive sampling. The results obtained in this study found that there are interactions on social media that add to the positive image of Intsiawati Ayus in the community, because Intsiawati Ayus and the success team respond to the slightest interaction from the community, then advocacy in the agrarian sector carried out by Intsiawati Ayus also adds to the good image in the community, the attachment of the character's name through the organization is also an important part of Intsiawati Ayus' image, this name attachment is done through the Rumpun Melayu Bersatu Laskar Hulubalang Melayu Riau (RMB-LHMR) organization founded by Asman Yunus who is Intsiawati Ayus' father. The results of this study are expected to be used as a study material in the field of political PR, especially in the election of the Regional Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia RI members in Indonesia.

Abstract

In the era of globalization and uncertain economic conditions, the phenomenon of unemployment among fresh graduates due to lack of job competencies remains a significant challenge. This research aims to investigate the impact of peer support on career adaptability and the moderating role of various occupational identity types (achievement, moratorium, foreclosure, and diffusion). Data collection was carried out by involving 99 unemployed fresh graduates. It was analyzed using moderated multiple regression. The findings of this study indicated that peer support had a positive effect on career adaptability. Occupational identity achievement did not moderate this positive effect, while occupational identity moratorium, foreclosure, and diffusion strengthen this positive influence. The results highlight the importance of utilizing peer support effectively peer tailored to an individual's specific occupational identity to foster career development.

Abstract

Hak dan kewajiban adalah dua hal yang tidak terpisahkan. Keduanya saling berkaitan, bagaikan dua sisi dari mata uang yang sama. Keduanya berperan penting untuk mengatur nilai dan pola perilaku seorang individu. Bela negara merupakan salah satu kewajiban konstitusional yang melekat pada setiap warga negara Indonesia, sebagaimana diatur dalam Pasal 27 Ayat (3) dan Pasal 30 Ayat (1) Undang-Undang Dasar Negara Republik Indonesia Tahun 1945. Hak dan kewajiban ini tidak hanya mencakup aspek militer, tetapi juga berbagai bentuk kontribusi lain yang dapat dilakukan oleh warga negara dalam menjaga kedaulatan, keutuhan wilayah, dan kelangsungan hidup bangsa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis peran warga negara dalam pelaksanaan bela negara berdasarkan hukum, serta kendala yang dihadapi dalam implementasinya.Konsepsi Bela Negara ini secara substansial mengandung lima nilai yaitu: cinta tanah air, sadar berbangsa dan bernegara, yakin Pancasila sebagai ideologi negara, rela berkorban untuk bangsa dan negara, dan memiliki kemampuan awal bela negara.Kemudian hak dan kewajiban konstitusional tersebut selanjutnya dijabarkan di dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 39 Tahun 1999 tentang Hak Asasi  Manusia dan Undang-Undang Nomor 3 Tahun 2002 tentang Pertahanan Negara.

Abstract

Delays in the execution of construction contracts are common occurrences and are generally understood to be the contractor's responsibility. In practice, however, delays in construction contracts can also be caused by factors beyond the contractor's control or responsibility, leading to an extended duration for project completion. Delays that are not attributable to the contractor grant the contractor the right to a time extension. Such extensions of time often trigger cost claims resulting from delays in work execution that are not the contractor's fault, as the contractor incurs additional costs due to the extended of project completion. This paper discusses the primary causes extension of time and the mechanisms for resolving cost claims arising from these extensions based on legal principles, including pacta sunt servanda, the principle of fairness, and the risk theory in contracts. The research employs a qualitative approach involving contract document analysis, case studies, and literature reviews. The findings indicate that excusable and compensable delays provide a legitimate basis for contractors to propose cost claims, while non-excusable delays may result in penalties for the contractor. This paper offers practical and theoretical recommendations for more effectively managing cost claims due to extension of time and highlights the importance of risk allocation in construction contracts.
