Abstract

The development of technology and information in the current era of globalization provides many benefits for all sectors, including the world of education. One of them is creating a new innovation by creating a mobile device-based application. Researchers designed a mobile-based journal search application. The purpose of designing this application is to facilitate the academic community in searching for journal references. The location of the research was conducted at Paramadina University with respondents from the entire academic community, namely lecturers and students. The method used in the development of research software is the Waterfall method. Based on the results of the questionnaire given to 50 respondents, it shows that 66% of research reference sources come from general journal articles such as Google Scholar, DOAJ, and Research gate. Thus, an online-based platform that is widely used by respondents to be able to find research reference sources. To be able to provide this solution, the author designed a mobile-based journal search application with an Android base. This is done in order to provide convenience for the academic community in finding sources of journal references. The mobile-based journal article search application can help users find journal articles by using several search options such as keywords, and year of publication.

Abstract

Taman Kenari Housing Complex is a residential area located in Bogor Regency, West Java. The complex is relatively quiet during the day, evening, and night, which can lead to security issues for the homes. One of the problems faced by the residents of Taman Kenari Housing Complex is the lack of effective monitoring and supervision of their home security. To address this issue, the author designed a prototype application called Taman Kenari Sensor Monitor using the Agile method. The purpose of this study is to design the Taman Kenari Sensor Monitor prototype as an effective solution to enhance the security and efficiency of home monitoring in the Taman Kenari Housing Complex. Through this prototyping approach, the Taman Kenari Sensor Monitor application can be visually represented in the form of a mockup that meets user needs while being efficient in terms of functionality and aesthetics. The prototype is designed using UML (Unified Modeling Language) modeling and implemented in the form of a mockup created in Figma. Application testing was carried out using the Blackbox method to test the overall functionality of the application. This study provides a structured solution to address the home security issues in the Taman Kenari Housing Complex.

Abstract

Dalam era digital saat ini, media sosial telah menjadi platform utama bagi pengguna untuk berbagi pengalaman dan pendapat mereka terkait berbagai layanan publik, termasuk layanan transportasi. Kereta Cepat Jakarta-Bandung (whoosh) adalah salah satu proyek infrastruktur yang penting di Indonesia, menawarkan alternatif transportasi yang efisien antara dua kota metropolitan utama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sentimen masyarakat terhadap penggunaan kereta cepat Jakarta-Bandung (whoosh) melalui data ulasan yang dikumpulkan dari media sosial Twitter. Metode penelitian melibatkan pengumpulan data melalui crawling Twitter, pelabelan data manual, pra-pemrosesan teks, pembobotan TF-IDF, dan penerapan algoritma Naive Bayes Classifier. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tanggapan masyarakat cenderung positif terhadap pengguna kereta cepat tersebut dengan tingkat akurasi klasifikasi mencapai 88%. Meskipun demikian, terdapat sejumlah data yang belum terklasifikasi dengan baik, menunjukkan tantangan dalam mendeteksi sentimen netral dengan tepat. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya analisis sentimen dalam memahami persepsi publik terhadap pengguna layanan transportasi dan potensi pengembangan metode klasifikasi yang lebih canggih untuk meningkatkan akurasi klasifikasi sentimen pada data yang kompleks.

Abstract

Rumah makan Ganto Minang sederhana di Kemayoran memiliki reputasi yang setiap harinya dikunjungi banyak pelanggan namun dalam operasionalnya usaha makanan tersebut dari segi pengolahan informasinya masih menggunakan format manual yaitu dengan cara mencatat menu makanan pilihan dari pelanggan, ketika di situasi pelanggan yang ramai hal tersebut akan menyebabkan pelayan restoran kewalahan, dengan pelayanannya yang kurang, akibatnya citra restoran tersebut dapat menjadi negatif yang dianggap karena dianggap memiliki pelayanan yang kurang dalam melayani. Untuk membantu permasalahan tersebut penulis mengembangkan dan mengimplementasikan basis data sistem pemesanan yang dapat membantu dalam mengelola restoran dengan lebih baik seperti pemesanan menu makanan, tempat meja makan, dan transaksi. Penelitian ini dirancang dengan menggunakan model ERD dan dengan memanfaatkan DBMS MySQL. Hasil implemetasi dari basis data diuji dengan metode blackbox. Hasilnya, membuktikan bahwa implementasi basis data tersebut telah sesuai dan berjalan dengan baik.

Abstract

Components in evaluating student academic achievement can be seen from several things, including attendance. Recording attendance or absenteeism in courses is one of the factors for assessing academic performance and student activities in the learning process. Errors in recording attendance are human errors that can be detrimental to students. This research aims to develop a mobile-based application with the Android platform to overcome errors in attendance. Application software development uses the Agile method; the research results are applications that can overcome human error problems, and development using the Agile method can be done more quickly
