Abstract

The National University administers several scholarships for new students each year. The problem is, the University does not yet have a standard method for determining beneficiaries. They have difficulty in determining prospective scholarship recipients with the same criteria. In fact, sometimes it only relies on people's instincts, which can be subjective. The University should implement a DSS system to overcome this problem. Therefore, in this study, the AHP method is applied and used to weight the criteria and test the level of consistency so that the criteria are in accordance with the type of scholarship. In addition, the SAW method is also used for determining scholarship recipients according to the quota. The results of this study are the priority weights of the importance of each criterion, namely the average value of report cards (0.35), parents' income (0.23), certificates (0.05), affidavits of not working and receiving scholarships (0.15), year of graduation (0.11) and number of certificates (0.10). The consistency ratio value is 0.03741 indicating the weight is consistent. This study also resulted in the best ranking of candidates for academic scholarships, with a result of 0.93. The average value of the application test results using the TAM method is 80.5%.

Abstract

The social media time line, especially Twitter, is still interesting to follow. Various tweets delivered by the public are very informative and varied. This information should be able to be used further by utilizing the topic of conversation trends at one time. In this paper, the authors cluster the tweet data with the TF-IDF algorithm and the K-Mean method using the python programming language. The results of the tweet data clustering show predictions or possible topics of conversation that are being widely discussed by netizens. Finally, the data can be used to make decisions that utilize community sentiment towards an event through social media like Twitter.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics of students who are likely to graduate or drop out (DO) in the management department of the National University, Jakarta. The study was conducted by implementing the K-Means algorithm, where each data is grouped according to the closest distance to the centroid. Determination of Cluster C1 graduate or C2 drop out is based on the attributes of status of students (active, leave, out and non-active), educational status (graduated or DO), GPA, total credits taken and length of study. To facilitate the clustering process, Orange tools are used that provide K-Means algorithm features. The total data input in this study were 1988 students from various classes. As a result, a pattern or mapping of graduated or DO students was found based on the attributes mentioned earlier. Testing the results of this cluster with the silhouette method, by measuring the distance between cluster members, both C1 and C2, showed good Silhouetter value, reaching 85%. The management department, National University can use the results of this study to predict the graduation of their students.

Abstract

PeduliLindungi adalah aplikasi yang dibuat dan dikembangkan oleh pemerintah Republik Indonesia  yang bertujuan untuk  pemerintah dalam mengntrol dan melacak penyebaran Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19). PeduliLindungi memiliki fitur utama melacak lokasi, sehingga aplikasi ini memerlukan partisipasi masyarakat sebagai pengguna untuk saling menginformasikan lokasinya saat berpergian,  dengan tujuan agar dapat melacak lokasi dan riwayat kontak dengan penderita Covid-19. Akan tetapi dalam pengoperasian dan pelaksanaannya muncul berbagai masalah yang dihadapi oleh pengguna antara lain, respon aplikasi yang lambat dan kurang intuitif, informasi yang kurang jelas, serta masalah aplikasi yang sering force close. Jurnal ini ditujukan untuk menggambarkan nilai usability terhadap aplikasi PeduliLindungi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode SUS dengan memberikan beberapa kuesioner yang terdiri dari 10 pertanyaan terkait aplikasi PeduliLindungi kepada 35 responden pada penelitian pertama. Dari penelitian tersebut didapatkan 7 rekomendasi yang selanjutnya diaplikasikan pada aplikasi PeduliLindungi sebagai perbaikan. Pada penelitian kedua, melibatkan 4 pakar sebagai responden untuk menilai usability aplikasi tersebut setelah dilakukan perbaikan. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nilai usability setelah dilakukan perbaikan dari angka 65 pada skor SUS pertama menjadi 81 pada skor SUS kedua.

Abstract

ABSTRACTDhanty Store is a family start-up located in East Jakarta. It was initiated in 2018, engaged in retail with the main product in the form of women's clothing and accessories. One of the important processes in Dhanty Store operations is the product procurement process. Currently, Dhanty Store request products according to their wishes without looking at their sales data. This causes their product stock is not well controlled. When there is a lot of demand, sometimes Dhanty Shops run out of stock so their customers will move to other stores. In addition, the process of requesting and procuring products to suppliers also takes a long time so that it can further disrupt the operations of Dhanty Store. This study develops a forecasting application prototype with the Weighted Moving Average method to assist Dhanty Store in the process of requesting and procuring their products. Forecasting results in the period (t) of the 1st week of January were 275 products. In addition, this study predicts product stock with a 4-week moving average and the MAD tracking signal value is ranged from -1.51 to 3.86 and the MAPE value is 35.4%. As for the reliability and level of user acceptance of the prototype model in this study, tested using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method and it is known that the average value given by respondents was 82 with details 0% considered inappropriate, 40% considered neutral and 60% rated it according to need.                                                                                                                                                        Keywords: data mining, forecasting, weighted moving average, MAD, MAPE, SUS

Abstract

Badan Pendapatan Daerah (BAPENDA) Kota Serang merupakan instansi kepemerintahan pada wilayah provinsi Banten yang memiliki sumber daya aparatur sebanyak 905 orang yang tersebar pada BAPENDA induk dan unit pelaksana teknis. Salah satu aturannya adalah seluruh sumber dayadiwajibkan untuk mencatat aktivitasnya seperti kahadiran, bekerja di luar kantor maupun yang sedang melakukan perjalanan dinas. Instansi mencatatkegiatan aktivitas sumber daya untuk dijadikan referensi penilaian kinerja. Saat ini pencatatan dilakukan secara manual sehingga menyulitkan bagi bagian Sumber Daya Manusia untuk mencatat aktivitas-aktivitas tersebut. Oleh sebab itu diperlukan aplikasi yang memudahkan bagi instansi dan tentunya juga bagi sumber daya untuk mencatat aktivitas kinerja. Untuk memudahkan sumber daya untuk mencatat aktivitasnya aplikasi ini jugadilengkapi dengan pengingat presensi. Aplikasi ini berbasis mobile Android dan IOS untuk digunakan oleh sumber daya. Penelitian ini menggunakanmetode waterfall dan memanfaatkan framework flutter sehingga mudah dalam pengembangannya. Pengujian aplikasi dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan blackbox testing dan pengujian tingkat penerimaan pengguna menggunakan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Harapannya dengan aplikasi ini dapat membantu permasalahan dalam pencatatan kinerja sumber daya bagi BAPENDA Kota Serang.Kata kunci: Aplikasi Mobile, Pemrograman Mobile, Metode Waterfall, Aplikasi Android, Aplikasi IOS, Kinerja Pegawai.

Abstract

Mobile JKN is a new Government application to register and manage the health protection membership. The problem that often occurs is that many participants do not really understand the application and their use. Therefore, JKN mobile application needs to be adjusted and developed so that the usefulness and benefits can be felt by the participants and the wider community. The method used is the System Usability Scale (SUS), a questionnaire that can be used to measure the usability of a computer system according to the user's subjective point of view. In performing SUS calculations using 5-point Likert scale. The first SUS score was obtained from testing the JKN Mobile Application by distributing SUS questionnaires to 23 respondents.  The second test was carried out by involving 3 professionals and experts in the science of design and IT. The treatment of the SUS questionnaire in the second test was by adding points of recommendation for improvement to the Mobile JKN application in accordance with the first results in each statement of the second test questionnaire. And the results of the SUS score in this second test experienced a significant increase from 59 to 81, this shows that the recommendations for improvements to the Mobile JKN application need to be improved or need to be developed a lot. The Mobile JKN application needs to be developed a lot in terms of updating and providing information about this application because there are still many and do not understand about the Mobile JKN application.

Abstract

Computational thinking merupakan suatu metode pemecahan masalah secara terstruktur dan sistematis yang menerapkan cara kerja sistem komputasi. Salah satu bentuk evaluasi pemahaman siswa terhadap metode tersebut adalah melalui tantangan bebras. Tantangan bebras adalah kompetisi yang diadakan oleh Bebras Indonesia dan berisi persoalan yang menuntut siswa untuk menyelesaikannya dengan menerapkan konsep informatika dan computational thinking. Universitas Paramadina merupakan salah satu biro yang berperan dalam menyiapkan peserta untuk mengikuti kompetisi tersebut. Biasanya, Universitas Paramadina akan memberikan pelatihan kepada calon peserta yang tergabung didalamnya mengenai konsep computational thinking dan melakukan simulasi pelaksanaan tantangan bebras. Salah satu fokus peserta pelatihan tersebut adalah siswa SD yang terdiri dari tingkat Sikecil atau kelas 1-3 dan Siaga atau kelas 4-6. Selain karena pesertanya cukup banyak, juga sangat penting untuk mengajarkan konsep computational thinking pada anak sejak dini. Pada pelaksanaan Tantangan Bebras 2022, Universitas Paramadina akan meningkatkan prestasi siswa yang tergabung dalam biro tersebut.

Abstract

Digital learning is a form of transformation in the classroom that focuses on the use of technology. In Indonesia, the Covid-19 pandemic that has been going on for the last few years has forced educational institutions, both formal and non-formal, to apply this learning concept, even with all of its limitations. This is at least experienced by PKBM 31 Bangka which has attempted to implement digital learning with limited capabilities and minimal infrastructure. This is even worse with the diverse characteristics of the students as non-formal institutions. Therefore, through a community service program, the informatics engineering study program at Paramadina University seeks to provide training to PKBM 31 Bangka so that they are better prepared to carry out digital learning. The training was held for 2 days and divided into 4 sessions. The understanding and ability of PKBM 31 Bangka educators regarding digital learning increased from the previous 2.67 to 4.25 after attending the training. Participants also rated the implementation of this training at 4.5 or very satisfied.

Abstract

One of the programs of Yatim Impian Indonesia, a foundation that focuses on social and education, is sharing carts for MSMEs (Gedor UMKM). Cart beneficiaries are selected based on certain qualifications so that they are considered eligible. However, in its implementation, there are problems in determining the eligibility of beneficiaries quickly. One of them is that the selection criteria have not been structured. To overcome the difficulties in determining the eligibility of beneficiaries quickly, a classification model is needed. This research aims to create a cross-platform mobile application that has the function of classifying the eligibility of beneficiaries by utilizing the C4.5 decision tree algorithm. This algorithm can provide recommendations to the foundation regarding whether the beneficiary is eligible to get a cart, based on the performance of the decision tree in the C4.5 algorithm. Furthermore, the classification model obtained from the decision tree is implemented in a mobile application to meet the needs of foundation administrators who are on duty in the field in conducting surveys. Using K-Fold Cross Validation Testing, the results of the C4.5 algorithm classification model show 81% accuracy in determining the eligibility of beneficiaries, and the results of the mobile application built with the React Native Framework which have been tested with Black Box testing show that all functional parts of the mobile application have run well.
