Abstract

This research aimed to determining the suitability of iSpring Quiz Maker as an evaluation media in the Arabic Language and Literature pragmatics course at UIN Malang, understanding the response of students' interest in using iSpring Quiz Maker as an evaluation medium in the Arabic Language and Literature pragmatics course at UIN Malang, and knowing the effectiveness of using iSpring Quiz Maker as an evaluation medium in the Arabic Language and Literature pragmatics course at UIN Malang. The method used in this research is research and development (R & D) by applying the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The results of this research show: (1) iSpring Quiz Maker is declared very suitable for use as a medium for evaluating pragmatic courses based on the assessment of material expert validators and media expert validators; (2) Student responses are quite interested in using iSpring Quiz Maker as a medium for evaluating pragmatic courses; (3) iSpring Quiz Maker is effective as a pragmatic course evaluation medium because the percentage of the total number of students who get an exam score ≤ 50 is 26.3%, while the percentage of the total number of students who get an exam score > 50 is 73.7%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tingkat akurasi hasil terjemahan mesin Bing Translator terhadap lirik lagu berbahasa Arab ‘Amiyah berjudul “Ya Sabb Farhety”. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan data primer berupa hasil terjemahan Bing Translator terhadap lirik tersebut. Data sekunder diperoleh dari literatur buku, jurnal, dan sumber relevan lainnya. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara membaca dan mencatat, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan konsep Miles dan Huberman, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari keseluruhan data, terdapat 10 kalimat yang tergolong akurat, 18 kalimat kurang akurat, dan 5 kalimat tidak akurat sama sekali. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa Bing Translator masih memiliki keterbatasan dalam menerjemahkan teks berbahasa Arab ‘Amiyah secara tepat. Oleh karena itu, pemahaman konteks budaya dan linguistik tetap dibutuhkan dalam proses penerjemahan, terutama terhadap ragam bahasa non-formal seperti Arab ‘Amiyah. Penelitian ini bermanfaat sebagai bahan evaluasi terhadap kinerja mesin penerjemah, khususnya Bing Translator, dalam menerjemahkan teks berbahasa Arab ‘Amiyah yang memiliki kekhasan struktur dan makna kontekstual. Abstract

The Islamic Revolution in Iran serves as a notable example of the erosion of moral values and political ethics. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of Imam Khomeini's concept of Wilāyah al-Faqīh in relation to the moral philosophy that underpins a nation. The research primarily employs library sources and utilizes a descriptive analysis method. The primary data consists of Imam Khomeini's thoughts on Wilāyah al-Faqīh, as articulated in his work Hukumat-e Islami: Velayat-e Faqih. Secondary data is drawn from his other writings, such as Islam and Revolution: Islamic Government along with additional relevant literature. The data collection process involves several steps: identifying literature that discusses Imam Khomeini's thought, reading and concentrating on his ideas, noting key points, and seeking other pertinent references. The data analysis employs content analysis and hermeneutic models, which are conducted in three main stages: data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings of this research uncover a profound relationship between Islamic political ethics and Imam Khomeini's concept of Wilāyah al-Faqīh. In a government based on Wilāyah al-Faqīh, there is no separation between religion and politics, as both realms share the common objective of establishing a just society rooted in God's law. For Imam Khomeini, politics is an extension of ethics, whereby ethics encompasses both individual conduct and social responsibilities.
