Abstract

This literature study aims to explain the prophetical dimension in Khotbah di Atas Bukit novel by Kuntowijoyo. The results of the study found that there is a humanization dimension of the Khotbah di Atas Bukit novel which includes strengthening in assertiveness, a sense of social solidarity, and personality. The dimensions of the liberation of novels on the Khotbah di Atas Bukit novel found include the activity of freeing oneself from worldliness, liberation from the social inequality. In the novel dimensions of transcendence the Khotbah di Atas Bukit novel was found to be akidah, khauf, tawakal, raja'. This dimension of humanization, liberation and transcendence represents the ethica prophetic component of prophethood underlying the creation of the Khotbah di Atas Bukit novel.

Abstract

This paper attempted to investigate the trends or cultural attitudes of Arabic lecturers of East Java’s State Islamic Universities (PTAIN) in using Arabic. To this end, the present study used a quantitative approach The results show that the directive utterances used by Arabic language lecturers at East Java’s PTAIN tend to take the form of direct speech acts through certain language politeness features. Besides, the hierarchy of the directive politeness speech in Arabic and Indonesian shared a similar degree of illocution. However, there is no significant difference between the hierarchy of directive politeness speech in Arabic, Indonesian, and Javanese perceived by the Arabic language teachers based on the Chi-square statistics test with α = 0.05. Consequently, they tend to use non-Arabic socio-cultural norms in expressing various directive utterances in Arabic.

Abstract

This research is based on a lack of confidence in the success achieved by language learners in the Arab debate competition at the ASEAN level at the Islamic Science University of Malaysia 2018. Language learners in the Arab debate competition at the international level in Doha - Qatar 2018 because not everyone can master debate easily and quickly. It needs To a unique strategy, numerous practices. Therefore, this study aims to: 1) Describe the strategies used by the successful learners in a debate competition. 2) Enhancing the contribution of debate learning to the competence of the learner. In this study, the researcher used the qualitative approach and the case study. This study concludes from the following results: First, the strategies of successful learners in the debate competition are of two types, 1) Debate learning strategy in the form of a Strategy Inventory for Language Learning, 2) Debate strategy, which is: (1) an organization strategy, (2) a rebuilding strategy,) 3) a strategy for clarification and detail, (4) a strategy for communication, (5) an argument strategy, (6) a strategy for working within groups. Second, learning to debate has contributed to improving the learner's three competencies (linguistic, communicative, and cultural competency) faster simultaneously, with two main aspects: 1) acquiring materials, 2) presenting the speech

Abstract

An online-based kalam learning program at al-Azhar course institution, which has been implementing an online Arabic language program since before the pandemic of the Covid-19, was the primary focus of this study, which examines the execution of this program during the pandemic. These findings are the result of a form of a qualitative study. Interviews, observation, and documentation are employed to gather data. The data sources for this research include various informants, the implementation process of the online Kallimni program, and al-Azhar course institution papers linked to the online Kallimni program. When it came to analyzing the data, the researchers followed Miles and Huberman's recommendations to reduce the data, visualize it, and make conclusions. Using WhatsApp and Instagram, the online Kallimni program could well be implemented. In this online Kallimni program, the learning is project-based and themed. The online Kallimni program included both motivating and stifling features identified by the researchers. As a result of this study, teachers and students must engage in conversation to master the speaking skill (mahārah kalām). Teachers should thus use additional technologies as Google meet, Zoom, or Skype to help students learn speaking skills (mahārah kalām) more diversely and visibly.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan manajemen perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi program munadharah ‘ilmiyah Pekan Arabi di Universitas Negeri Malang di masa pandemi. Jenis penelitian dalam penelitian ialah jenis penelitian kualitatif metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu menggunakan metode wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data, peneliti menggunakan teori Miles dan Huberman, yaitu mengumpulkan data dari hasil wawancara dan dokumentasi, reduksi data, display data, dan conclusion Drawing. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan penelitian ini terdiri dari 1) Perencanaan, terdapat 3 hal penting yang harus dipenuhi dalam perencanaan program munadharah ‘ilmiyah. Pertama, model interactive approach. Kedua, dalam ruang lingkup program ini terdapat 3 dimensi. Ketiga, proses perencanaan program ini melalui tahapan-tahapan yang sistematis. 2) Pelaksanaan, terdapat 3 hal penting yang terdapat dalam penyusunan program Munadharah ‘ilmiyah. Pertama, tahap pemula, kedua, tahap pelaksanaan program, ketiga, tahap penilaian setelah diadakannya program munadharah ‘ilmiyah. 3) Evaluasi terdapat 2 hal penting yang harus dipenuhi dalam evaluasi program munadharah ‘ilmiyah, yaitu evaluasi monitoring dan evaluasi komprehensif.  :تمت هذه الدرسات العلمية حسب جمع البيانات من منهج توثيق الأخبار الإلكترونية التي جمعها و حللها الباحث عن جهود وزارة الشؤون الدينية لبناء المدارس الإسلامية كمركز التفوق (Center of Excellence) في فترة ما بين سنة 2014 حتى 2020م. وذلك بعد الإعلان عن شعار " Madrasah Lebih Baik- Lebih Baik Madrasah" رمزا لجميع المدارس الإسلامية في إندونيسيا من قبل وزارة الشؤون الدينية في يومها التاسع والستين الخيري في 27 ديسمبر 2014م. وتمشيا مع هذه الرؤية، يجب أن تكون المدرسة الإسلامية قادرة على أن تصبح مركز التفوق. قد بدأ الترويج لمفهوم التفوق عن تأليفTom Peters  و Robert Waterman عام 1982م في كتاب بعنوان " In Search of Excellence". إن تفوق المدارس الإسلامية في هذا الأمر هو عمل وابتكار المدير كمشرف قادر على قيادة المعلمين والموظفين لتشكيل أفضل بيئة تعليمية جيدة كتمييز لا تملكه المدارس الأخرى. يمكن القول أن التفوق هو أفضل جودة. يقال إن المدارس الإسلامية متفوقة إذا كانت قادرة على إظهار أفضل جودة مقارنة بالمؤسسات التعليمية الأخرى. لذلك، فإن معنى التفوق لم ينفصل عن جودة التعليم، وعمق مهارة المعلم وزيادة التحصيل الدراسي للمدرسة الإسلامية

Abstract

Kemendiknas telah menyediakan buku ajar mulai jenjang SD/MI hingga SMA/ MA, termasuk bahasa Arab. Namun penggunaan satu sumber juga tidak dianjurkan. Penelitian (Machmudah, 20011) menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan dalam bahan ajar Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) dari sisi prinsip gradasi. Sementara dalam rangka merealisasikan salah satu program unggulannya “we can speak” Sekolah Dasar Islam (SDI) Sabilillah Malang mengemmbangkan bahan ajar “Takallum bil ‘Arobiyyah” Al Mustawa Al I’daadi Al Awwal kelas I cetakan kedua 2017 oleh Nur Chasan S.Pd. Dengan pendekatan konten, penelitian kualitatif ini bertujuan menemukan penerapan prinsip- prinsip penyusunan bahan ajar degan standart Kemendiknas 2006 dan 2008a (Nasional) serta standar Thu’aimah (Internasional). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku diatas disusun sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip pengembangan bahan ajar yang baik standart Kemendiknas 2006, 2008a yakni prinsip relevansi, konsistensi, kecukupan, gradasi (mudah sulit, konkrit abstrak) dan pengulangan. serta standart Thu’aimah 1989 yakni prinsip valid, kebermaknaan (utility), kecenderungan dan perhatian, layak dipelajari (learn abiity) dan global.

Abstract

Perkembangan zaman juga mempengaruhi perkembangan bahasa. Begitu pula dengan bahasa Arab yang mengalami perubahan dari zaman klasik hingga zaman modern. Perubahan bahasa Arab tersebut ditandai dengan munculnya teori-teori baru terhadap struktur kaidah bahasa Arab atau nahwu yang sudah ada. Salah seorang pembaharu bahasa Arab yang terkenal dengan pemikiran nahwu modernya adalah Tammam Hasan. Beliau mengkritik landasan penelitian nahwu klasik yang dipelopori oleh Imam Sibawaih karena beliaulah yang pertama kali merumuskan ilmu nahwu secara lengkap dan terperinci pada buku nahwu-nya yang fenomenal Al-Kitab. Kritik epistemologi nahwu inilah yang akan dibahas dalam artikel ini, sehingga tujuan dari artikel ini adalah untuk mendeksripsikan epistemologi nahwu Imam Sibawaih berdasarkan pemikiran nahwu modern Tammam Hasan. Adapun jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dan jika dilihat dari tempat pengambilan data, penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kepustakaan atau library research. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah buku-buku dan jurnal-jurnal yang bertemakan tentang nahwu, ushul nahwi, metode sima’I, Imam Sibawaih, Tammam Hasan, dan metode nahwu modern. Hasil penelitian ini mendeksripsikan dua hal; pertama, tentang metode sima’i sebagai epistemologi nahwu klasik Imam Sibawaih, dan kedua, tentang kritik Tammam Hasan terhadap nahwu klasik Imam Sibawaih tersebut pada aspek berikut; 1) bahasa dan dialek, 2) masa bahasa, 3) riwayat bahasa, dan 4) qiyasi dan sima’i.. Kata Kunci: Epistemologi; Klasik; Modern; dan Nahwu

Abstract

Culture as the result of ideas, feelings and intention in Islam is the manifestation of worship. This paper is written through literary review that is completed with observation from some mitoni traditions. The culture form of ideas, activities and artifact is applied in 'mitoni'. It is a celebration on seventh month of pregnancy age. The activities done in mitoni are 1) bathing, 2) 'brojolan' ritual, 3) clothing change ritual, 4) prayer, 5) gift. Islamic values that inspire economic activities in mitoni are 1) thanksgiving that encourages people to be productive, 2) 'tafaa’ul' through prayer to be selective in consuming goods, 3) helping each others to manage the production cost, 4) implied education as all the activities are based on knowledge, 5) visitation to make connection through service distribution, 6) almsgiving through the gift that will maximize the production value, 7) reciting the verses of al-Quran and their meaning, some of which related to prosperity, 8) economic creativity, through the use of various apparatus and foods, bearing production activities.Budaya sebagai hasil dari cipta, rasa dan karsa manusia, dalam Islam merupakan manifestasi dari ibadah. Makalah ini ditulis melalui kajian pustaka dilengkapi dengan observasi dari beberapa acara mitoni. Wujud budaya yang berupa gagasan, kegiatan dan artefak yang teraplikasi pada budaya 'mitoni' 'Mitoni' adalah perayaan tujuh bulan usia kehamilan. Rangkaian mitoni adalah 1) siraman, 2) upacara brojolan, 3) upacara pergantian busana, 4) doa dan 5) 'mberkat'. Nilai-nilai Islam yang menyemangati aktivitas ekonomi dalam budaya 'mitoni' adalah: a) tasyakuran, mendorong orang untuk produktif 2) 'tafaa’ul' (optimisme) melalui doa, yang menjadi kekuatan untuk selektif dalam mengkonsumsi barang, 3) tolong menolong, yang berdampak pada penekanan biaya produksi, 4) pendidikan (pre natal) yang tidak terstruktur, menyebabkan penghematan biaya operasional, karena semua tindakan dilandasi ilmu pengetahuan, 5) silaturrahmi, berarti membuat jejaring untuk memperluas distribusi barang atau jasa. 6) sedekah melalui 'mberkat' akan memaksimalkan nilai produksi, 7) tilawah al-Quran dan tadabbur maknanya, yang sebagian berhubungan dengan kemakmuran, 8) kreatifitas ekonomi, melalui penggunaan berbagai piranti dan makanan, yang melahirkan aktivitas produksi.
