Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan pada peserta didik SD Negeri 550 Bilante yang berjumlah 38, terdiri dari 18 laki-laki dan 20 perempuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas 3 SD Negeri 550 Bilantedengan menggunakan model pembelajaran picture and picture dan media gambar seri. Hasil pembelajaran Prasiklus dengan KKM 75 diperoleh rerata kelas 63,8. Pada Siklus I nilai rerata kelas 70,8, yang tuntas dalam belajar berjumlah 23 atau 60,5 %. Dari data pengamatan sebanyak 25 orang 66%, atau dapat menjawab dengan benar dan yang tidak dapat menjawab dengan benar 13 orang atau 34%. Pada Siklus II hasil nilai rerata kelas adalah 80. Data pengamatan hasil belajar juga menunjukkan peningkatan yaitu sebanyak 32 orang atau 84% menjawab dengan benar, dan yang tidak dapat menjawab dengan benar ada 6 atau 16%. Dengan demikian pembelajaran menggunakan Picture and Picture dan media gambar seri dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar, keaktifan dan motivasi bagi peserta didik.

Abstract

Character education is a form of effort and service in the field of education provided to children with the aim of helping their growth and development process physically and mentally. Character education refers to efforts in education that aim to support children's physical and mental development. This process is carried out by providing stimulation related to attitudes, knowledge, and basic skills combined with character education, which is designed to be appropriate to the context and environment in which the child is located. This study was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method approach to describe the observed phenomena in depth. The title raised by the researcher is "Initial Steps in Character Education: Teaching Respect for God and the People Around Them to Children Aged 5-6 Years at Al-Izhar Cendekia Islamic Kindergarten Makassar." In this study, children, teachers, and principals were used as the main objects for data collection and analysis. The results of this study revealed that most children were able to demonstrate behavior in accordance with the objectives of character education that had been implemented. They also showed the ability to focus while performing prayers calmly, indicating the success of the learning process that emphasizes respect for God and the people around them.

Abstract

Pembelajaran kinestetik memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam perkembangan anak usia dini, khususnya dalam meningkatkan keterampilan motorik kasar, koordinasi tubuh, serta keterampilan kognitif, sosial, dan emosional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pembelajaran kinestetik di taman kanak-kanak di wilayah Sulawesi Selatan, dengan fokus pada ketersediaan sarana, persepsi guru, serta hambatan yang dihadapi dalam implementasinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa survei dan wawancara. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 100 guru dari 50 taman kanak-kanak, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket untuk mengukur persepsi guru terhadap pembelajaran kinestetik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar guru menganggap pentingnya pembelajaran kinestetik, namun terdapat beberapa kendala seperti keterbatasan alat dan fasilitas, kurangnya pelatihan untuk guru, serta keterbatasan waktu dalam jadwal pembelajaran yang terstruktur. Berdasarkan temuan ini, disarankan agar taman kanak-kanak meningkatkan fasilitas pendukung, mengadakan pelatihan untuk guru, serta memberikan fleksibilitas dalam kurikulum untuk mengoptimalkan penerapan pembelajaran kinestetik. Dengan langkah-langkah tersebut, diharapkan pembelajaran kinestetik dapat lebih efektif dalam mendukung perkembangan holistik anak usia dini.

Abstract

This research aims to understand and analyze various types of early childhood education (ECE) research based on objectives, approaches, methods, and data sources. The main issue raised is the lack of deep understanding among students and practitioners regarding the types of research relevant to improving the quality of education. The method used is a literature study, with data collection through analyzing literature from books, scientific journals, and related articles. Data is analyzed descriptively to identify each type of research’s characteristics, advantages, and disadvantages. The findings of this study show that there are four categories based on purpose, approach, method and data source. Based on purpose, there are descriptive, explanatory, exploratory, predictive, and evaluative types of research. Based on the approach, research is divided into quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods. Based on method, there are experimental research, action research, case studies, longitudinal research, and cross-sectional research. Finally, based on data sources, research can be conducted through field, library, or laboratory research.. The results of this study contribute as a reference for researchers in the field of Early Childhood Education  to choose the right type of research based on four research categories, namely based on objectives, approaches, methods, and data sources.
