Abstract

Generasi sandwich merupakan individu yang memiliki peran ganda terhadap orang tua dan anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh perceived social support dan optimism terhadap subjective well-being generasi sandwich. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain asosiatif kausalitas. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 100 orang, diperoleh melalui teknik purposive sampling pada 100 orang generasi sandwich berusia 29-43 tahun di Karawang. Perceived social support diukur menggunakan Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS), optimism diukur menggunakan Psychological Capital Questionnaire (PCQ-24), sementara subjective well-being diukur menggunakan The Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS) serta Scale of Positive and Negative Experience (SPANE). Analisis data menggunakan uji regresi linear berganda dengan aplikasi SPSS versi 23. Hasil analisis regresi linear berganda menunjukkan bahwa perceived social support dan optimism secara signifikan mempengaruhi subjective well-being, baik secara parsial maupun simultan (nilai sig. 0,05). Nilai adjusted R square sebesar 0,635 menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel independen tersebut menyumbang 63,5% terhadap variabel dependen. Perceived social support memiliki koefisien 0,419 dan optimism memiliki koefisien 1,147, menunjukkan pengaruh positif terhadap subjective well-being. Kesimpulannya, peningkatan perceived social support dan optimism secara signifikan meningkatkan subjective well-being pada generasi sandwich di Karawang.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of discounts and the tagline "free shipping" on purchasing decisions at Shopee (study of the people of Semarang city). The population of this research is all residents of the city of Semarang who use the Shopee application. The sample used in this research was 97 respondents. This research uses a quantitative method with purposive sampling. Data was collected using an online questionnaire distributed via a Google Form link to respondents. Data analysis uses SPSS 28 which includes validity, reliability, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing using the t test, f test and R2 test. The results of this research show that the discount variable has a positive effect with t count (3.299) > (1.665) t table and sig value. 0.001< sig.α (0.05), the tagline "free shipping" has a positive and significant effect with the calculated t value (6.091) > (1.665) t table and the sig value. <0.001 < sig.α (0.05). For further research, it would be better to add different variables such as payment by Spaylater, COD (Cash On Delivery), Consumer Reviews and develop research on factors that can influence purchasing decision variables.
